Trumancash,

I went to the web site that you provided a link for. Whereas I cannot verify the quotes and allegations against Bud Hopkins I cannot prove they are wrong. What is certain is that most or all of what you are saying is true. My own studies and experiences are what I am going on here. I would recommend that other readers check out your link. I could not read it all at the time but read enough to realize that you are basically right.

For those who are interested, the following is a transcription of an affidavit concerning Budd Hopkins and the administrative court proceedings in 1990, STATE OF NEW YORK DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, STATE BOARD FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL CONDUCT, against Dr. Stephen J. Kurzweil, M.D. A copy of the affidavit can be read on page 490 of BEHOLD A PALE HORSE by William Cooper.

Besides being a practising dermatologist (mentioned in this 1983 issue of Mufon UFO Journal), Dr. Kurzweil completed 40 credit hours post-graduate training in clinical hypnosis at Columbia University in 1982, post-graduate courses in nutrition, infectious disease and medical malpractice; residency in psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital in 1971. (see p. 491, BEHOLD A PALE HORSE).

SWORN AFFIDAVIT OF DR. STEVEN KURZWEIL

I originally became interested in the UFO subject by meeting Harry Lebelson, a writer for OMNI Magazine who told me about cattle mutilations and urged I attend an APRO meeting. I was not very impressed with the meeting, but rather with an attractive woman named Joan Thompson who appeared to be one of the few non-strange looking people at the meeting.  Ms. Thompson and [illegible] friends and later together we attended a MUFON meeting held in Boston.  (This was about 1981.)

Ms. Thompson explained that she was an employee of the CIA and urged that I work with Mr. Budd Hopkins to help with his research.  (1982)  Mr. Hopkins explained that he likewise was an employee of the CIA:  "I'm the abduction specialist for them."

He was extremely concerned that the cover-up be maintained lest “there be a revolution in this country”.  He fearfully told me that “a lot” of people have been abducted:  “we don't know what the UFOs did to them; I wrote the book to find out who had been abducted (“Missing Time”); the Gov’t. has to get those people out of the military; they (i.e., the CIA) thinks abductees may have been programmed.”

He was very upset about the amount of work required to investigate even one case.  Mr. Hopkins said, “distrust the information passed on while under hypnosis.”  He was shocked by the after effects of abductions; people frequently committed suicide FOLLOWING his “hypnotherapy”; many went on to become alcoholics or drug addicts such as Ms. Marcy Diexler.

I asked him why he did the hypnosis if it caused the psychological and psychiatric problems! He could offer no reply whatsoever despite repeated questioning.  I myself was appalled by the inhumane and medically indecent standards of 'care' being applied to these victims of Nazi-like brutality.  By all medical standards Mr. Hopkins was further causing injury to individuals already in distress.  He made no provision for aftercare or follow-up.  He displayed a complete lack of temperament and training (as well as a complete lack of compassion) for for [sic] these people. Once he obtained his “information”, he would drop these people like hot potatoes and left them on their own.

As a medical doctor I was disgusted; as an American I was sickened at this maltreatment of our own people. I refused to cooperate with Hopkins and reported him to the Medical Authorities as being involved in harmful and extremely questionable activities that were anti-humanitarian as well as anti-American.

He threatened to get revenge by reporting me as “mentally impaired” since I believed in a government cover-up and reported harassment.  This, he claimed, was evidence of paranoid delusion. “Steve, you had the nerve to tell me to F--- Myself” and “that’s why I’m getting back at you”.  The New York State Office of Professional Conduct was told lies (1989) about my involvement in this subject.  The State is required by law to investigate all reports (even by non-patients) of possible physician impairment.

When the psychiatrist interviewed me I told him about the fact that the public knows nothing of this deplorable situation. He concluded that I was paranoid delusional (due to the telephone harassment) and that I was “grandiose” since I had “special knowledge”. The psychiatrist is an 85 year old man who believes he knows all there is to know from his textbooks on psychiatry.

My medical license is now on the line and hence my entire future career!!  I would like to add that since I have been practising medicine since 1968 there has NEVER been even one case of any patient of mine who questioned my professional expertise, personal integrity or ethical standards.

Since I originally reported Hopkins in 1983, I have received numerous telephone calls at all hours; notices from funeral parlors, interruption of my medical practise by “a third party” answering my line giving misinformation out to patients resulting in complete chaos to my office and grief to myself.  This was told to me by Ms. Avonile Blackman, my telephone secretary (1984).  An “extra-cross connection” or illegal tap was reported on my phone by Charles Lauretano of the NY Telephone Company.  My life has been a nightmare ever since standing up and speaking out for my rights and as a patriotic American citizen!

I SWEAR UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY THAT ALL OF THE ABOVE IS TRUE AND CORRECT TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE. - Stephen J. Kurzweil, M.D., 936 Fifth Avenue., New York, NY 10021.

[Sworn before Zandra Henderson, Notary Public - State of New York, County of New York]

***************

According to documents filed in this case by Dr. Kurzweil's attorneys (Jacobson and Goldberg): "It is uncontested that there is no evidence of any patient harm in this case." (p. 498, BEHOLD A PALE HORSE)

In other words, Dr. Kurzweil's license to practice medicine was in jeopardy due to Budd Hopkins' unsupported allegations, even though no patient was harmed and no patient filed a complaint of any kind. Budd Hopkins is an artist, has no medical training and was not a patient of Dr. Stephen Kurzweil.

Trumancash,

Do you know if Hopkins has replied to these allagations? I would like to hear his side of the story.

From what I just read of the doctor above you. He has 40 hours of trainning in hypnosis thats as much trainning as I had going to a clean harbours containment emergency response coarse.I have to say that 40 hours not only I but several other people passed because as with any coarse they make you pass whether you know what your doing or not.I to would like to see the response from Bud Hopkins . My father in law got hypnotized not to smoke .He had been smoking for over 35 years. It worked for him.He has never smoked since. So going under and having some person putting suggestions in your head is done all the time.So I guess its all about aliens bad humans good again.Trust your local doctor as long as he or she is human and anything else that has the technology to just wipe us out after disecting one of there own and taking the ship from Rosewell and shooting at them for years is the friendly thing to do.

To the best of my knowledge Hopkins has not replied publicly to Dr. Kurzweil's affidavit. However, if you find something please let me know.

As you may know, an affidavit is prima facie evidence in a court of law and it is made under the penalty of perjury. Therefore, if Hopkins wanted to refute Dr. Kurzweil's affidavit, he would also have to make an affidavit or otherwise testify under penalty of perjury.

If Dr. Kurzweil was lying he could be found guilty of perjury. Also, Budd Hopkins could have also sued Dr. Kurzweil for defamation of character if he was lying.

Also, Dr. Kurzweil was risking not only his medical license in New York, he was risking his career by making this affidavit. It's not likely that a medical doctor would risk their career by lying under penalty of perjury.

I've covered this subject in greater detail here: http://www.matrixrevealed.com/PROPAGANDA1.htm

A "credit hour" at a university is not the same as an hour on a clock. For example, when I went to college in the '60s one course of instruction was usually worth 3 credit hours per semester, required about 3 hours of classroom time per week, and it required a lot of studying outside of class. So 40 credit hours is a whole field of study, not just one course or class.

I'll talk a bit about the potential liabilities of hypnosis in a separate post.

The following is a summary of the various memory retrieval techniques that I have used in my abduction research and therapy. As my research documentation shows, I have used both hypnosis as well as non-hypnotic memory retrieval techniques to recover both past life and ET abduction/contact experiences.

Abduction scenarios require more expertise than most past life incidents due to the ability of ETs to create false memories. These "false memories" are often called "screen memories". Some researchers differentiate between the two terms, but I use the two terms interchangeably to keep it simple.

Also, ETs have the ability to create illusions in the minds of abductees to deceive them during the abduction. These illusions are referred to as "telepathic implants". The ability of ETs to generate these mental illusions are referred to as "telepathic hypnosis". I began using this term during the early 1990s based upon my own experiences. However, I later found that the terms "telepathic hypnosis" and its contraction, "telenosis", were used by the Pleiadians in the Billy Meier contact case. {See the second book of Billy Meier's Contact Notes by Wendelle Stevens}

There are different types and techniques of hypnosis, but to keep it simple I categorize them into light trance hypnosis and deep trance hypnosis as it relates to abduction hypnotherapy.

Hypnosis has potential liabilities in that a hypnotist can unwittingly or intentionally implant an idea in the mind of the subject that could adversely affect one in everyday life. When one is in a state of hypnosis, one is in a state of heightened suggestibility. "Stage hypnotism" demonstrates this potential liability. A young girl died at the hands of an inept hypnotherapist in front of a judge and jury in the amazing story of Audrey Rose.

The story of Audrey Rose (book & movie) revealed that deep hypnosis with a highly suggestible person can be lethal. Potential liabilities in these extreme cases--both lethal and legal--appear to ultimately hinge upon the depth of hypnotic trance and suggestibility of the subject.

Another potential liability is that some of the most well-known abduction hypnotherapists are connected to the CIA, such as author/researcher Budd Hopkins. This was made public by Dr. Stephen Kurzweil whose affidavit and court documents are available in the book BEHOLD A PALE HORSE.

It is now public knowledge that the CIA engages in mind control and is well known for its MKUltra mind control programs that use hypnotism as a foundation--augmented by drugs, electro-shock and trauma. Therefore, I do not recommend Budd Hopkins or his colleague David Jacobs for "therapy". They have both made their viewpoints known in their books and interviews--that therapy is the secondary consideration to the extraction of data about ETs when conducting hypnotherapy with abductees.

Although Hopkins and Jacobs have made valuable contributions to the field of abduction research, they debunk and discredit genuine abductees who report real experiences with military and aliens working together in underground bases. It is not clear whether they are witting participants in this cover-up or whether they have been mind-controlled and/or threatened by the CIA not to reveal the military/alien underground base connection.

It is also more difficult to get around false memories and telepathic hypnosis of ETs using hypnosis. Most hypnotherapists have little or no experience with ET abilities so they would not have a clue if you talked with them about "screen memories" and how to get around them.

ETs use flash weapons and telepathic hypnosis to put abductees into a hypnotic, zombie-like, somnambulistic state. Since ETs use hypnotic methods to control abductees, hypnosis may only replay the false or "screen" memories. However, with non-hypnotic memory retrieval it is quite easy and natural to get around them.

Furthermore, one of the problems that I have observed with hypnotherapists is that they often ask leading questions. This, of course, can produce unreliable responses simply because the subject is in a suggestible state--to a lesser or greater degree--due to being in a hypnotic state.

Yours in the Awakening,
Truman L. Cash

I was wondering with your technique in retrivel have you thought of planting a suggestion in your head that you would be able to have get connected to have you go wide awake during one of your experiences and then just site up and go got ya. I know it sounds like a joke but I am serious.I myself having a connection to what I myself are friendly beings am wide awake . Not saying they could not be making me think all is good but the games they play with me and I am sure some others who are probably just afraid to say anything about it.But like yesterday I am 54 years old am trying to grow a small beard but not being a hairy guy its not quiet going as planned. But either way I have a very out going personalitiy. I was looking in the mirror and me being me said tonight we dine in hell. That line came from the movie 300 from the Spartans that fought those many men for days before getting killed. So then last night while talking to my space friends or aliens if you like I was taking pictures I have quiet a few now I have taken in the past few days there wonderful. As what I would consider a alien humour one of the pictures is of a Spartan helmet . Not sitting on a table but in the universe. Now if the beings were being up to no good why let me have so much fun taking pictures and having what I would call intermind conversation. The being is not saying kill the humans or the world is coming to a end it is more like a game.So why would they be doing this. But it appears from what I can tell you are not happy with your encounters .So plant a suggestion in your mind and have it get triggered .It sound like with all the techniques you have it would be worth a try.

I know for myself the power of suggestion is a tool I have used many times. And I do not even have the experience he has so I would think that would be easier for him to do.I hope he does it .After 75 abductions he has had . He must really impress the beings. So what can that possible be that is so facinating to them. That would be nice to have.Of coarse if you like being abducted like I do.:}To me any contact from a far more advanced race is always welcome .Have a great day .Can you see the look on the beings face if he went awake and said got you.All your centuries all your knowledge all the things you have accomplished and here I am 21 century man and figured it out.Oh yes that would make a good storie.

I have read several books by Dr. David Jacobs and Bud Hopkins. I wrote Hopkins' organization about a regression and they cautioned me about proceeding as some people react badly to finding out that they have been abducted. Neither of these men have claimed that they are therapists. I went to a therapist in Minneapolis and the results were good. When I tried to get a regression locally those who had done some were no longer doing it because of adverse reactions. I found that knowing that I had been abducted was good as I learned the truth. I had family support, was older and retired. I also learned that they were no longer abducting me. All of this made things easier. I can see where a fairly high number of abductees may be better off not knowing. What we need are people who can help abductees to cope with their experiences not just reveal what happened. Hello, FlyingFisherman. I agree that some people would be better off not confronting their abduction experiences (until they are ready to do so). I think most abductees, though, would not have a problem with it if it is handled properly with non-hypnotic techniques. I have worked with 44 other abductees so I am speaking from experience on this.

I was very much into Christianity about 35 years ago. One of the principles in the NT that really impinged on my reality is the principle to seek the truth and that when one knows the truth it will set one free. Of course, this principle is narrowly interpreted by most Christians. However, I have found that it can be applied to all aspects of life.

It is my experience that when abductees learn the truth about their abductions, it sets them free from the trauma and programming of the abduction. By that I mean the abductee actually penetrates the veil of amnesia that is intentionally installed by abducting ETs, and this reveals what actually happened during the abduction without using hypnosis.

Non-hypnotic techniques can be very therapeutic. The amazing thing about this is that the abductee becomes no longer bothered by the abductions and he or she gets on with their earthly life free of the trauma. Their attention is no longer on their abductions.

Amnesia is used by abducting ETs to control people. Amnesia equals "not knowing". Amnesia encapsulates and activates trauma and programming. Truth sets people free of it.

Hypnosis is not the best solution to the problem of amnesia. Unfortunately, that is what nearly all abductees do to recover abduction memories. The story of Audrey Rose demonstrates the liabilities of hypnosis. The movie is available on Netflix and it closely follows the book. I highly recommend that people either read the book or watch the movie.
