At this moment it's classical I've got on.
My favorites have been electronic music from the start.
I listen to Michael Stearns from the mid 1980s on CD most of the time. His album "Encounters" got me hooked on those haunting sound of synthesizers. I just can't find those kind of musical artists any more, and there was many, many of them then.
I have heard "The Doors" and intend to buy one of their CDs but can't decide which one yet.

I've heard bits of Riders on the Storm and The End from The Doors. My reason for my interest in them.
I bought a Decca CD with the Prague symphony orchestra
playing 9 of their songs. Riders on the storm and the end was among them.
Thanks.

drwu, a late follow up, sorry.

Vangelis has been at the among my many favorites.
I have about 20 of his CDs, "Opera Sauvage" may have been the first of his I bought many years ago, not sure, but is a very favorite.also is the sound track "1492 Conquest of Paradise" from the movies. I seen the movie and thought it OK at best but once again his music stands out.
