That's a good album....all of Mayall's early ones are cool. He worked with some great guitarists like Peter Green, Eric Clapton, ......and Mick Taylor who's on this album....of course later became the player for the Stones.

The Who and Hendrix are two of my favorites....I saw the Who at college in 1974 before Moon died.

Ya...Mountain was a great band --- I saw them at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland around 1970. I also saw The Who (before Moon died} do their destruction act there, with Led Zeppelin playing first that night. Pete Townsend caused $10,000 worth of damage to the wooden stage floor with his guitar.

I also saw Janis Joplin play there...including John Mayall, Canned Heat, Alvin Lee, Steppenwolf, Grand Funk Railroad, Ike & Tina Turner, Dr. John the Night Tripper, Jose Feliciano and a host of other bands.

I saw Janis Joplin again in Baltimore...along with - Cream, Moody Blues, Jimi Hendrix, Edgar Winter, Terry Reid, Johnny Winter and Black Sabbath.

Re 'Bare Wires'. Good yes. But I prefer 'Blues from Laurel Canyon'.
