I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to rock and that is not the original line up and they have extra players on stage.
The song was originally out in 1969 and though Randy California the guitarist wrote it Jay Ferguson was also involved with vocals and playing and apparently not on stage that day. If you want a great experience listen to Twelve Dreams....by far the best thing they ever did.

Listening to Spirit made me think about these guys......
one of the greatest psych pop rock bands to come out of the west coast back then and they never really got their due or became as big as some of the other bands.
