Police have said they found 23 guns in Paddock’s room at the hotel. The sheriff added: “We are aware of a device called a bump stock that enables an individual to speed up the discharge of ammunition.” Bump stocks can be used to modify guns and make them fire as if they were fully automatic.

He also said authorities had completed their investigation at the gunman’s property in Reno, finding five handguns, two shotguns and a “plethora” of ammunition.

Paddock’s motive remains unknown. “This person may have radicalised, unbeknownst to us, and we want to identify that source.”

PER YOUR ARTICLE SYS...

#1 Photos of Stephen Paddock’s hotel room have been leaked, and one of those photos appears to show a suicide note. Why hasn’t the public been told what is in that note?

#2 Were there additional shooters? A taxi driver reportedly captured video of an automatic weapon being fired out of a lower level window. A video from another angle and brief footage captured by Dan Bilzerian also seem to confirm that automatic gunfire was coming from a floor much lower than the 32nd floor room that Stephen Paddock was located on. And if you weren’t convinced by the first three videos, this fourth video should definitely do it.

#3 Why were law enforcement authorities discussing “another suspect on the fourth floor”, and why isn’t the mainstream media talking about this?

#4 As Jon Rappoport has pointed out, it would have been impossible for Stephen Paddock to kill and wound 573 people in less than five minutes of shooting with the kinds of weapons that he is alleged to have used. So why won’t law enforcement authorities acknowledge this fact?

#5 How in the world did Paddock get 42 guns and “several thousand rounds of ammo” into his hotel room without anyone noticing?

#6 How did someone with “no military background” and that wasn’t a “gun guy at all” operate such advanced weapons? Because what we are being told by the mainstream media just doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. I really like how Natural News made this point…

Experts Call for Mass Killers' Names to Be Kept Quiet

By Stephanie Pappas, Live Science Contributor
October 4, 2017

An open letter signed by 147 criminologists, sociologists, psychologists and other human-behavior experts asks that the media stop publishing the names and photographs of mass killers.
Research has found that fame is a major motivation for many mass shooters.

"They want to be celebrities," said Adam Lankford, one of the lead drafters of the letter and a criminologist at the University of Alabama. "We know that some of these offenders have said things like, 'The more you kill, the more you'll be known,' and 'Someone who is known by no one will be known by everyone.'"

No notoriety
After a mass killing like the one in Las Vegas on Sunday night (Oct. 1), when a shooter sprayed bullets into a music-festival crowd from a hotel window above, the identity of the perpetrator is often the first question. But "the particular sequence of letters that make up offenders' names, and the particular configuration of bones, cartilage and flesh that make up offenders' faces are among the least newsworthy details about them," Lankford and the other signatories argue in the letter. The plea is based on a proposal published in September in the journal American Behavioral Scientist by Lankford and Eric Madfis, a sociologist at the University of Washington, Tacoma.

The researchers propose that media outlets avoid naming the perpetrator or using the perpetrator's photograph. Reporters should also avoid naming past killers in articles about more recent killers, they wrote. All other details — including possible motives, where such killers got their weaponry, the criminal's past and interviews with friends and family — are fair game, they said.

These guidelines would be similar to existing policies against showing fans who run out on fields during televised events or publishing the names of sexual assault victims. In Canada, juvenile offenders' identities are not released, Lankford and Madfis wrote in their American Behavioral Scientist article. That policy covered a 17-year-old who killed four in La Loche, Saskatchewan, in 2016.
Everyone in the small town knew who the killer was, Lankford said. He posted his intentions before the crime on Facebook and survived after to appear in court. But the newspapers still didn't run his name.

Copycats and fame-seekers
After data emerged that suicides can be contagious through the media and that reporting on one suicide was linked to a spike in later suicides, most reputable media outlets began changing the way they reported on suicide. For example, guidelines from the American Foundation to Prevent Suicide include avoiding sensationalistic headlines, downplaying focus on the method of death and including information on how to get help for suicidal impulses.

The letter's signatories are asking for a similar voluntary effort. Some prominent academics who backed the request include Harvard cognitive psychologist Steven Pinker and Katherine Newman, an expert on school violence at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

it was 58 killed..=13 not including the "suicide"
http://glonews360.com/las-vegas-shooting-brother-says-something-drove-paddock-into-the-pit-of-hell/

His Brother is most peculiar with expressions
“Mars just fell into the earth. We’re completely dumbfounded. He [Stephen] has no political affiliation, no religious affiliation, as far as we know. Our condolences go to the victims and all their families.”

another article he describes a descent into hell after sending money for his GF .descent into hell is a 2007 movie Sacrificial Lamb Descent Into Hell..

It is somewhat odd that this , the Scalise shooting, and the florida Disco massacre all came at within days of pending gun control legislation.coincidental..I'm sure..There would never be that amount of arms in that hotel for an alleged sting w/o agents nearby to monitor the stash..So the Isis sting op runs hollow...
So where do we go in this cross torrents of speculation..there is a door that I don't want to go thru in view had had filmed himself, possibly wifi cams, and was surveilled by a different entity, neither LE nor Isis..the kind only whispered about in dark circles.Circles that film this for personal pleasuere, circles that want to take the guns away to make things easier, circles that create wars on demand..Circles who laugh at us..as we try to figure it all out..Circles that pop out of a rock or a cloud like Valles control systems..They shouldn't be there but they are.

I used to think gun control was the answer. My research told me otherwise.

By Leah Libresco
October 3

Leah Libresco is a statistician and former newswriter at FiveThirtyEight, a data journalism site. She is the author of “Arriving at Amen.”

Before I started researching gun deaths, gun-control policy used to frustrate me. I wished the National Rifle Association would stop blocking common-sense gun-control reforms such as banning assault weapons, restricting silencers, shrinking magazine sizes and all the other measures that could make guns less deadly.

Then, my colleagues and I at FiveThirtyEight spent three months analyzing all 33,000 lives ended by guns each year in the United States, and I wound up frustrated in a whole new way. We looked at what interventions might have saved those people, and the case for the policies I’d lobbied for crumbled when I examined the evidence. The best ideas left standing were narrowly tailored interventions to protect subtypes of potential victims, not broad attempts to limit the lethality of guns.

I researched the strictly tightened gun laws in Britain and Australia and concluded that they didn’t prove much about what America’s policy should be. Neither nation experienced drops in mass shootings or other gun related-crime that could be attributed to their buybacks and bans. Mass shootings were too rare in Australia for their absence after the buyback program to be clear evidence of progress. And in both Australia and Britain, the gun restrictions had an ambiguous effect on other gun-related crimes or deaths.

When I looked at the other oft-praised policies, I found out that no gun owner walks into the store to buy an “assault weapon.” It’s an invented classification that includes any semi-automatic that has two or more features, such as a bayonet mount, a rocket-propelled grenade-launcher mount, a folding stock or a pistol grip. But guns are modular, and any hobbyist can easily add these features at home, just as if they were snapping together Legos.

As for silencers — they deserve that name only in movies, where they reduce gunfire to a soft puick puick. In real life, silencers limit hearing damage for shooters but don’t make gunfire dangerously quiet. An AR-15 with a silencer is about as loud as a jackhammer. Magazine limits were a little more promising, but a practiced shooter could still change magazines so fast as to make the limit meaningless.

As my co-workers and I kept looking at the data, it seemed less and less clear that one broad gun-control restriction could make a big difference. Two-thirds of gun deaths in the United States every year are suicides. Almost no proposed restriction would make it meaningfully harder for people with guns on hand to use them. I couldn't even answer my most desperate question: If I had a friend who had guns in his home and a history of suicide attempts, was there anything I could do that would help?

However, the next-largest set of gun deaths — 1 in 5 — were young men aged 15 to 34, killed in homicides. These men were most likely to die at the hands of other young men, often related to gang loyalties or other street violence. And the last notable group of similar deaths was the 1,700 women murdered per year, usually as the result of domestic violence. Far more people were killed in these ways than in mass-shooting incidents, but few of the popularly floated policies were tailored to serve them.

By the time we published our project, I didn’t believe in many of the interventions I’d heard politicians tout. I was still anti-gun, at least from the point of view of most gun owners, and I don’t want a gun in my home, as I think the risk outweighs the benefits. But I can’t endorse policies whose only selling point is that gun owners hate them. Policies that often seem as if they were drafted by people who have encountered guns only as a figure in a briefing book or an image on the news.
Instead, I found the most hope in more narrowly tailored interventions. Potential suicide victims, women menaced by their abusive partners and kids swept up in street vendettas are all in danger from guns, but they each require different protections.

Older men, who make up the largest share of gun suicides, need better access to people who could care for them and get them help. Women endangered by specific men need to be prioritized by police, who can enforce restraining orders prohibiting these men from buying and owning guns. Younger men at risk of violence need to be identified before they take a life or lose theirs and to be connected to mentors who can help them de-escalate conflicts.

Even the most data-driven practices, such as New Orleans’ plan to identify gang members for intervention based on previous arrests and weapons seizures, wind up more personal than most policies floated. The young men at risk can be identified by an algorithm, but they have to be disarmed one by one, personally — not en masse as though they were all interchangeable. A reduction in gun deaths is most likely to come from finding smaller chances for victories and expanding those solutions as much as possible. We save lives by focusing on a range of tactics to protect the different kinds of potential victims and reforming potential killers, not from sweeping bans focused on the guns themselves.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/i-used-to-think-gun-control-was-the-answer-my-research-told-me-otherwise/2017/10/03/d33edca6-a851-11e7-92d1-58c702d2d975_story.html?utm_term=.e58d8d93d131

We don't give up. We outlaw the modifications that allowed him to simulate automatic fire weapons. (Although, I have to admit, every gun owner/user I've communicated with tells me from the videos of the shooting, that was true automatic gunfire, NOT rapid fire from stock-bumping modification). Is it possible the media doesn't want you to know that so they can press for outlawing regular guns? Just LOOK at how paranoid the media has made me!

However, to me, the dialogue should be about what is it in our society that makes these people COMMIT these atrocities?! THAT is the important question. Take away the guns, they'll build bombs, they'll make poison, they'll drive a car into a crowd. THAT mentality is what we need to get to the bottom of.

The Bellagio Hotel lobby was sprayed with bullets by a second shooter during the Las Vegas attack, according to hotel guests and staff who recount the horrific experience in a newly surfaced video.

http://yournewswire.com/las-vegas-bellagio-hotel-shooters/

Rene Downs made a Facebook Live video in the immediate aftermath of the shooting in Las Vegas, filming from inside the Bellagio Hotel which was on lockdown after “shots came firing in through the front doors of the lobby” causing “mass chaos and a stampede.”

Explaining that she was in the lobby with her husband at the time shots were fired into the hotel, Rene Downs also explains that the sheriff and mainstream media immediately covered up the Bellagio Hotel shooting, and in keeping with the “lone wolf” narrative, insisted that the Bellagio was not involved in the Las Vegas attack.

WATCH VIDEO!!!

Speaking to a staff member, Downs explains she is filming the scene because “What they are reporting on the news is incorrect.” The staff member agrees, saying “Yes.”

I was in full support of the bill {Hearing Protection Act}, but now...after the latest massacre, I'm totally dead-set against this bill. And now..the majority Congress seems to feel likewise, since passage of the bill is rapidly dimming --- Even though I can't stand the loud muzzle reports of short barreled rifles {SBR's without noise-limiting suppressors} with my hearing protection on at the gun range.

How many more people would have been killed at the massacre site, had the shooter outfitted his guns with suppressors? Especially at an amplified music concert, with the shooter hiding about 400 yards away from the music spectators. I'm speculating that the shooter victim count would have been much higher, had the shooter been shooting his guns with suppressors; because of all the loud amplified music coming from the stage, which would have made it more difficult to pinpoint the shooter's location.

Though...I'm still at a quandary about the legality of bump-fire stocks, since the shooter had at least 2 AR-15's outfitted with them {Slide Fire stocks or something similar} --- So, a trained shooter can shoot a semi auto rifle just as fast with a rifle outfitted with the Slide Fire or bump fire stock...an untrained shooter cannot shoot that {rapid-fire} fast.

So now...I'm leaning on the side to support a ban on these bump-fire stocks, including any extra-ordinary modification, that would make semi-auto rifles to shoot faster.

Law enforcement says Las Vegas shooter “did not act alone” … new details

https://www.naturalnews.com/2017-10-04-breaking-law-enforcement-says-las-vegas-shooter-did-not-act-alone-new-details.html

In a stunning statement that adds further weight to many of the questions raised by Natural News and other independent media leaders — the only remaining real journalists in America — Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo publicly affirmed his belief that Stephen Paddock did not act alone.

“…[H]e had to have some help at some point,” Sheriff Lombardo is now quoted as saying by the UK Express.

User Image

Natural News and other independent media outlets have been the only investigative journalists in the country to ask real questions that expose the gaping holes in the “official” narrative of what happened at the Mandalay Bay massacre. Websites like SGTreport.com, TheEconomicCollapseBlog.com and The Daily Sheeple have detailed the ludicrousness of the official story with articles like “MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: Official story of Las Vegas shooting unravels; physical impossibility of lone gunman senior citizen makes narrative ludicrous.” Michael Snyder has also published, “16 Unanswered Questions About The Las Vegas Shooting That The Mainstream Media Doesn’t Want To Talk About.”

Now, Sheriff Lombardo echoes that very story in saying, “Maybe he was a superhuman who figured this out all on his own but it would be hard for me to believe that.”

Ed...Mainstream sources are a complete and utter psyops by themselves..pickins for facts are very slim...FB member jumped on this before mainstream could put anything out..now LE and Mainstream are lacking any answers..concentrating on demonizing the Steves concubine and the wire transfer to the phillipines..this is why there is now a push to to stifle expression on social platforms..not just what you say but what facts you may come across that debunk establishment operations..let's be clear here..all of ous have become in THEIR eyes and under their proposed legislation..potential enemies of the state..
UK wants to pass laws for long prison terms if you even get caught reading hate literature.
Acts of desparation by state..a clear sign the Leviathan is collaspsing.

now..its only Natural Edgrin...we look elsewhere..for answers..or even the right questions..something our own American House Intel people seem incapable of

Thats why even your counterpart on Youtube Outerlight Ed admits..something is way off. Now brace yourself about that mans plane..the questions have now gone up to 20..with no truth in sight..since they lost control of the pix in the hotel room

More news is coming out this morning on Stephen Paddocks, and it is not as cut and dried as I thought. This is a very complex case, and it seems everyone is reporting different aspects of the worst mass shooting in the history of the United States.

Paddocks did not act alone. FBI reports there are many significant leads around the world with many flights taken by more than one person all over the world. Possibly, and this is just my opinion, many of Paddocks gambling trips could have been a cover for arms deals and terrorist connections. Was he gunrunner who sold guns to jihadists?
The attack could have been worse. Paddocks targeted aviation tanks with the intention of blowing them up causing a massive fuel blast. http://content.jwplatform.com/previews/MyWNxdjC-np6v9i2TLas Vegas Strip mass murderer Stephen Paddock used his Mandalay Bay hotel room to fire bullets at jet fuel tanks Sunday night, a knowledgeable source told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The bullets left two holes in one of two circular white tanks. One of the bullets penetrated the tank, but did not cause a fire or explosion near the Route 91 Harvest country music festival, another knowledgeable source said late Wednesday. The tanks are roughly 1,100 feet from the concert site, where Paddock killed 58 people and wounded almost 500. Several airplane hangars belonging to prominent corporations are also near the tanks.
Las Vegas sheriff says there is evidence gunman may have planned escape. http://abcn.ws/2fN5BYY
Authorities are discovering he may have planned out other attacks or dry-runs. He had previously staked out concerts a week before.
He had rented another room near the Las Vegas site.
