I wouldn't mess with those people. I wouldn't get close enough for them to see your license plate. You sure as hell don't want them to know who you are and where you live.

At some point and time, i thought the earth was all humans. hiding and shooting peopel because they go near a military base imo is treason on the highest level. killing your own people for trying to get information they want and that the "freedom of information act" has granted us... or has it?

The explorer and adventurer Steve Fossett disappeared over the nevada desert in his plane. One theory is he crash landed near area 51. He has never been found.

is there any articles about this theory?

This isn't an Area 51 story, but it's close. shocked

During my one and only one hitch in the USAF (waaay back in the mid 80's), I was stationed at Eielson AFB near Fairbanks, Alaska.

The small aircraft structural repair shop was shared between SAC & TAC crews. There was a really sharp guy there who worked on the TAC side. Quiet. Smart as hell. Family man. Wicked funny sense of humor. He was very talented and a real professional in every sense of the word. He had maxed out his time at Eielson, and, shortly after being promoted to Tech Sgt (a young Tech Sgt), he was offered - yes, you read that right, offered - a Top Secret assignment at Nellis AFB.

He hated the subzero temps in Alaska (but at least he got to work in a freakin' hangar; that was a luxury for the SAC guys), so he was more than ready for a change of scenery. He was very attracted to the prospect of living in Nevada, but the level of secrecy for the mission was burdensome enough that it took him several days to decide whether or not to accept it. He was told he could never, under any circumstances, discuss the nature of the work with anyone, ever, including his family. He wouldn't be informed of the exact nature of the work unless and until he accepted the offer. Whatever it was, it involved daily commutes to a highly classified location. By helicopter. Blindfolded. If I recall correctly, it was a forty-five minute commute each way. "I can always take a nap," he said with shrug. (Napping in a helicopter. I told you he was talented.)

With some trepidation, he accepted the mission and transferred out soon afterward.

That was the last I heard of him.

P.S. On the slim chance any of my old SAC buddies are reading this, I hope you're all doing well. To this day, you are some of the finest people I ever worked with. I hated the military, but I loved working with y'all. (Well, not every single one of you. laugh You know who you are.)

Yikes.

Before doing anything recklesss, people truly need to come to grips with the fact that little things like civil rights and due process no longer exist; and, even when they did, the potential consequences of discovering secrets, much less with an intent to reveal them, have always been grave.

Bringing light to the world ain't getting any less dangerous, especially when the torch is property of The State.

You do have to realize its being used for research. They can not take any chances that you are a spy and are going to report back to another country about what you saw.

They think you're a spy and your word isn't good enough. They have every right to kill you. If they wanted us to see whats inside they'd tell us.

You don't have any right to go snooping around on a military base. And the chances that you might be a spy are too high for the government to take any risks and let you free. They have no way of telling if you are just a curious bystander or a spy.

It isn't about "freedom" this stuff could start massive wars, could doom humanity. We;re trying to keep the Public safe from harm and advert any wars.

They are signs warning people of the potential harm that could result in their trespassing onto the military base. If someone is stupid enough to try anyway then I don't feel sorry for what happens to them. Common sense should be used. If a sign says you may be killed if you trespass then you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know NOT to go forward.

Even IF you made it to the base you'd never to go inside and IF anything is there that's where it would be. Dan

My guess would be nothing much. Since the world wide exposure of Area 51, any sensitive base operations would have long since been relocated.

It never ceases to amaze me how Area 51, Groom Lake or what ever you wish to call it continually generates so much interest. It’s a remote military / government installation used for testing and research of our Nations Secret Projects be it military or whatever. There needs to be a high level of security for this type of thing. Does anyone really wish that our Government just opened its doors for all to see? Do they have Extra Terrestrial projects going on there honestly I have no idea. However if they do I give them credit for keeping it under wraps as well as they have. What I will say is we have the most technically advanced military Bar None and as a citizen of the USA I am proud of our technical achievements. Now as far as all these so called EX workers with there claims of UFO this and ALIEN that I can bet that 99.9% of them and their claims are bogus attempts to gain popularity for themselves for some reason or another. People that are given ultra high security clearance do not just start blabbing about what they know at the first opportunity and if they do they would be and most importantly should be incarcerated with no exceptions! “We are talking about our Nations security here.” In other words “You have to earn the right to know”. So next time you read a post from someone who claims to have worked for the government and they are divulging secret information I can assure you that if they are valid claims and they are breaking their oath of secrecy that will be their last post for a very long time. Now im sure one of you will say "Well what about that .01%" Well they are in jail

I will say I believe we have been and still are being visited from who or what your guess is as good as mine it could be they have been here all along.

Someone realted to me was granted the privelege to enter the area 51 base, and was contracted to lead construction of several new buildings in the base its-self. He was being taken into the area 51 base in a camoed humvee sitting next to a "base commander" of sorts.

As they were heading to the base, the "someone related to me" saw something he would never forget. An F15 shot STRAIGHT OUT OF THE GROUND at about a 50-60degree angle, ignited its afterburners seconds later, and flew off at a breakneck speed. It was so close and so loud he covered his ears. He looked at the ground where the plane had just appeared and saw that it was a large chute that was covering/resealing its-self over with a camoflauged sheet of a kind of metal. He told me that it was so well camoed that unless you stood on it you wouldn't realize it was not real ground.

As stated before, he just could not believe his eyes. A fully functional F15 had just shot out of the ground and flown off. The "base commander" turned to him and said
"YOU SAW NOTHING, UNDERSTAND ME?" and they sat in silence for the rest of the ride into the base.

Suffice to say, he did INDEED see something. Years later he related this story to me and others. This leads me to a REASONABLE theory as to what area 51 TRUELY is. I believe that it is a massive underground complex that extends both far underground and into the surrounding mountains. I believe that this place was built with the intention to withstand a nuclear attack, and still have the ability to retaliate using the "chute" method that my relative witnessed. The chute probably works on a similar principle as that used on aircraft carriers. They slingshot the plane off into flight. As for UFOS, I believe that those are merely previously unseen military planes. It is also my belief that they are taking full advantage of the "alien" smokescreen to make it that much more mysterious.

There it is, take it or leave it. I know damn well that my relative did not lie, and I believe him 100%. As for you, make up your own mind. It makes sense to build something like this incase of a worst case scenario.

Smoke Screen ?.
The People of Earth and the People of the U.S.A. have the right to know what is going on over there. It is not a good thing , at least not for the people or the free world.
