That would be a neat trick.

The Roswell crash was in 1947.

The facility at Area 51 did not exist in 1947. It was first built in 1955.

Wait -- let me guess.... The Air Force time traveled to the future to deliver the bodies.

Oh wait... that does not make sense either. The Roswell crash was in July 1947. The Air Force did not even exist until September 1947. Before then it was part of the Army -- the Army Air Corps.

If you are going to make up stories to post here, please, PLEASE spend a few minutes fact checking and getting the details right. Otherwise you just look like a silly troll.

There was however a U.S. Army Air Force at the time ( June 20,1947- Sept. 17, 1947 ).

Check out also Indian Springs Air Force Auxiliary Field ( 1942).

Not saying this particular story is true however. Who really knows ?

Sorry, Dave. I don't make up stories to post here; I just pass along garbage I find on the internet for your expert appraisal.....

The first item was simply a report filed with MUFON, and the second item was an article published by the UK Express.

There was no mention of an "Area 51" that I saw. The statement was, "...they were secretly hidden at a US air force base." That could simply be a 2017 mis-statement for "Army Air Field", (location ??).

I noticed too, the use of Andrews Air Force Base being referenced for 1947. But that too, could have easily been a mis-statement for someone speaking in 2017. Andrews Field was named on 7 February 1945. It became Andrews Air Force Base in 1948.

The second link specifically states witnesses claim the bodies were taken to Area 51.

There is so much BS, prevarication, and fantasy about the alleged Roswell crash I am beginning to have doubts the event ever occurred at all.

MUFON (AKA Moronic UFO Nutjobs) no longer has any credibility at all. I would not believe them if they said it gets dark at night.

My comment was directed at MUFON and the Express, not at any person here. I could also apply my comment to the Daily Mail and several other fake news sites.

It DOES specifically state that about area 51.

Doubts ? Hmmm...It's a double edged sword.

Besides this article or any other, Should we believe the first actual Roswell newspaper report that brought all this to light or the second ?

Was the first a mistake or countered by being taken off the shelves and covered up because it may cause mass hysteria ?

Was it taken off the stands because it was a mistake knowing they had screwed up, or..... ?

I don't blame you for having mistrust Dave.....I'm not MUFON, or the Army, Air Force, or any other agency or 'whatever'. I'm a simple man.

Maybe you, maybe not, but, MANY of us already know the truth concerning E.T. regardless whether Roswell was a Joe or Shmoe.....

But yeah, verification does matter (for some). Good luck finding it ! wink

Verification finds you.....

I'm still convinced Roswell was indeed a weather balloon, or "some" human-built lighter than air device.....

Maybe not a weather balloon, or the balloons from Project Mogul, but another top secret program?

I believe the various initial explanations were all a comedy of errors. The initial report of a crashed UFO was a hastily contrived cover story for the crash of a top secret project. Then someone high up in the Army realized that cover story was ludicrous, then revised it to a weather balloon. Later, the real project still being classified, revised the explanation again to Project Mogul, which by then was unclassified.

No bodies were taken to Area 51, which did not exist at that time. The initial reports never mentioned bodies at all. Bodies somehow got added to the narrative later. We see that a lot with older reports. Over time additional details that never were part of the original event magically appear.

As the years pass people come crawling out of the woodwork with their own stories of 'my neighbor's cousin's barber knows someone...' and eventually that fabrication becomes accepted as fact as it is now copied and pasted from website to website without anyone bothering to check against the original reports.

I would tend to agree but I guess we will never know the truth.
