« Thread started on: Aug 18th, 2009, 1:28pm »

I understand from the internet that a crash occurred at shaitan Mazar 'the devil's grave' in Russia in 1991 and that a craft was recovered by the military. does anyone know anything of this?
Major General Svechkov located it at 42 deg. 11' N
79 deg. 41' longitude
apparently UFO researchers from Perm were the first to visit the site.
Nikolay V. Subbotin, Greg Jarikov.
the craft is mentioned in several websites and was apparently hundreds of feet long.
who out there knows more about this?
thanks for reading.

I have not heard about this particular sighting. I would be very interested in hearing any information anyone out there might have on it, particularly photographs.

Ok. I used the grid to Google Earth the area and there is a village nearby named Inlichek, and something named Than Shan, Inlichek. Also something labled as Inlichek Glacier.
Odd that no villages or other obvious landmarks are mentioned in the references.
Not one picture, even at extreme range was taken. Helicoptors fell from the sky and no one could approach to within 800 yards yet a military crew some how hooked on to it and lifted it out of a place so hostile that people on foot had doubts about getting in and out.
Let alone the idea that an MI8 Hip could have lifted anything that large to start with.
Then we have a recovery crew that marked off the site, graded out every trace of the crash, and cleaned up every piece, EXCEPT their own markers.
Too many gaps and contradictions for me. There may be something at the base of the tail but it seems to have been embelished in the retelling.

Radiation burns 1/4 mile away? I think I need an extra link or two for this one please? This insinuates environmental damage that would be visible from orbit.

Take care

I took the time to look that up. Hard to find and quite interesting. Radiation burns at distances like that insinuates an active atomic stream, runaway fusion process, or possibly anti matter. Although that last one was pure speculation on the author's part. The focus of the article segment from an ancient Discover magazine, was possible side effects from a nuclear pulse engine.

So, like I said before, does anybody have another link or two on this incident? It sounds interesting, but requires further confirmation methinks.

Also, maybe links to articles on radiation burns at a website that doesn't use ancient articles from second rate science magazines as a source? I'm not being picky. I just want to read more about this. grin

Take care

YEP... I'M WITH YOU ON THE "LONG ARM OF RADIATION" REACHING SUCH DISTANCES... rolleyes
EITHER THIS PERSON WAS CLUELESS WHEN EXPOSED AND IF SO (EXPOSED) SHOULD HAVE SECONDARY SIDE EFFECTS OF NAUSEA...
I REGRET SOME ACCOUNTS OF EVENTS (SIGHTINGS) TAKE ON THE EMBELISHMENT ASPECT OF "LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE FISH I CAUGHT"...SOMETIMES AS BORING AS IT MAY BE OR CONVERSELY.... ENLIGHTENING...STICKING TO JUST THE FACTS ALLOWS UFOLOGICAL ENDEAVORS TO MAKE THOSE LEAPS AND BOUNDS...

YEAH TIM...I LIKE YOUR STYLE...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

Thank you Zetar. But it was really quite obvious. But still, do you want to know something? Part of me just sits here jumping up and down, wishing it to be true. I wait for the day with baited breath when I read a story like this that's true. Don't you?

It might scare the pants off of me for a minute. But I would get over it. It would mean ............. hmmm. What would it mean? Have a fix on that? Many things I guess.

Take care

well it has been awhile since we last discussed this one...#
I gained the contact details of RUFORS , PERM, Russia
who are the people who investigated the crash first according to what is known.
However, do you know why they don't reply to any E-mail?
translation software was used on the one try at this and they still didn't respond.

any thoughts?
