"claim to be insiders" grin

Anybody can claim to be anything in the OK Corral world of the internet and instant self-promoted media. There will always be naive and gullible people who believe every preposterous nonsensical claim in the free-for-all cyberspace.

Very true dave54 and for all I know you could be a pimply faced 13 year old living in the basement perusing old Playboy magazines.

There was research before the internet. And there was something called books back then that were researched and written by people. Many of these people actually went out and looked for other people who would tell them stories about parts of their lives.
Many of these "insiders" were alive when tracked down and interviewed face to face.
I know how hard it is today to imagine actually being in the same room with someone and talking with your mouth instead of your thumbs, but it did happen.

Fabrications, embellishments, exaggerations, faulty memories, and outright fraud exist in books too.
