None of this stuff represents an evolutionary beginning for the Drone or LAP designs and that is obvious. As I said before, there is no precedent for the designs. The Idea that Hollywood and in fact Bollywood was in envolved was expressed from the beginning and the Bollywood connection may have had some interest.

Hi Sys.
What's the time frame of these images especially ones with undeniable drone/Isaac graphics?
Are they works that were influenced by or were they the inspiration?
Thanks

Ahh good question..The first one is from 1960s I believe, from popular mechanics..actual military experiment..
The Android pix like the one Bluetech, a DJ based in Oregon, was alleged to have been done within a day of Isaacs release on c2C June 28, 2007 while Jones was in Japan, on the dance floor, amazing isnt it..I knew he was fast but not that fast.Actuall when it is 28th in Japan, its actually 27th here , time zone thing, so he he had heard he said, not seen, (but lets say he did), worked out the brushes and tweak, or knew right where to get them. He was in Japan since the 21 working on the movie the Illuminated.
Yet, It had taken him some time to do the others called Bass Nectar in his Concept Art renderings.., according to a commentary, yet this was like a bolt of lightening..instant..
Inspiration is awsome isn't it? smiley
He also did that summer, a tour which covered the DNA lounge and Vets Hall in SF and Santa Cruz, our playground, and Bellingham, where dell is at, as well as Oregon.
Its much like those pilgrimmages to Mecca or Bethleham. One is bound to pick up something along the way.
I feel like I am going to speak in tongues at any second just thinking about it. goosebumps even..That we may have a Saint walking in our midst.
Sadly, he hasn't used the brushes since..But his others show a strong similarity, Music DJ based art. No lack of musicians in this saga ..
But I digress

The other that looks like a flying prototype of the pig is Star TReks long time illustrator and prop designer, frank sternbach..thats 1980s art..He and Okuda worked together . Frank said in an email to , that it did look similar like his borg panel art, with the green nodes, to his, but that people are always borrowing like that, not much one can do. All Okuda told me , he was not involved in the hoax. Sid miers of blade runners fame liked the arabesque style very very much, but said politely..the story was crap. That should stroke Somebodies ego very well We of Course know Matrix..another warners design also pre 2000.
Then the laptops..AW, by far the most inspired, they took one look, and by October had imprinted their design , approved by Dell, on the Lap at the manufacturing plants assembly line, their packing materials, etc, an International contest with a roswell story line and alien letters..by October..It was prob the one thing that saved the SCC terminators meme getting exposure as the writers strike kicked in, but not affecting AW.. It was all supposed to be simultaneous.
But Again I digress..I have to get some more "inspired work"..like the 2007 July video, as well as the Siggraph thing also in July..
We had a rash of conversions, amongst people who all worked together in one form or another..
but, really..not with anyone else much..atually.
I did buy at considerable expense..that laptop that just happened to have a Quanta Bios date of March 2007.
I may have a collectors item actually, boxes and all...it has that video card Nvidia that overheats..Its worked fine for me so far.
And I love it..Kudos AW. Warners made a good choice to use them . They and gamemakers have done same with superman, WOW, and many other to enhance their revenue streams. Its Standard operating procedure.

Ya know, Sysco, someone will eventually write a book about this Russian novel of a story, and whoever it is will owe you a big fat fee for research. grin

Thats why I picked the picture too! It was irresistable the jaws dropping..like maybe they saw one of the poles grow legs and walk off.
And that cigar..is like the icon of the other side..a cigar is just a cigar...hahaha How many times have we heard that..but it makes him look so distinguished 'in control"
I'm still laughing .smiley

I saw HPOs latest Brown Pig, very very well done I might add..Its nice to know when we order they are making them in colors.now..Designer pigs. You know they have pigs, rabbits and fish that glow now! True..
So far we have Isaac Black, Leviathan Green, and HPO Brown..

Those dutch are something else with paint and colors.
They have a gift! But all this for free? I happen to know they are exceptional shrewd businesspeople too..
Remember how far almost Jan Blai flew that kite!
I just don't know why he and his company do not just come out and sell models like toy makers and modellers do for all the action figures all the time...That would be a good revenue stream..for themselves..after all, no one owns the design do they? they are from outer space, Isaac said so wink The Warners people can't do anything right?

User Image
I think maybe HPO has his finger in the dike for other reasons smiley
I would love to see his display he said he was going to use at the trade show he mentioned for his/the company.
He mentioned that last year. He never commented how it went, or where it was at, or we could see it on display. Does the company do prop designs for studios too?. It doesn't hurt to know that.
I know they must have been thrilled smiley as we are of him .
So I hope he can enlighten us.
We are so excited for him.

Oooh! I can't wait for the action figures! I found this sneak preview online. This is supposed to be Isaac, stuffed shirt and all. I sure hope the others are this good! I really want the Surly Bartender.
