This Friday evening, July 13th, George Noory will be a guest on Larry King Live as part of a show on the 60th anniversary of Roswell. The program will air on CNN at 6pm PT/ 9pm ET, with a replay at 9pm PT/ 12am ET.

CNN has a form to use to submit questions for the show. I think we should all send questions about the the drones/Isaac docs for Larry to discuss with George. This could be the big media break this story needs.

http://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form5.lkl.html

Be sure to mention that the questions are for George Noory, it appears to be a generic form. I mentioned in mine that the story first broke on George's show. You may want to do the same.

I just sent in an email asking for George to discuss the Isaac/Caret Drone case. If we flood the email box with requests, do you think they will still ignore us?

I sent my question to Larry King. I hope they talk about it... I will find it very interesting if they don't bring it up at all.

BEFORE you doing this you have to apply an image filter that compensates for the optical distortions of the camera --- THEN you can calculate the reflections angle.
I suggest DxO Optics or Bibble. They are both good and have pre-settings for a lot of cameras.

Of course we don't know the camera type and lens used, but you can make assumptions it was an SLR with the most common lens used at the time.

Just a question..In the picts above if a light box was used along with an SLR camera what would cause the blue
shadow on all the images. Is there a blue light somewhere or is this just something that happens when using a lightbox with a SLR. If it is a shadow why is it a widespread and not more localized to the objects..

Blue light is a scanner artifact due to the glossy paper of the photo: The paper reflects back the scanner light.
I would be not as visible if the scanned photo was a colour photo, but since it's black & white, the blue stands out.

This is the same blue hue as the T in the photocopied documents, but for other reasons (negative holder).

You are right, I was just making it up, lol I was just guessing, trying to figure out a scenario.

If its not true, I have no problem eating humble pie and admitting I was wrong. Will you be so humble when it is proved right?

First, let us be clear on my position.

I am not saying that this story 100% chalk full of blueberry muffins.

There may be some worthy components to this story. But as I have stated before, why does someone have to lie to tell the truth? If all of this is true, then I am on board. But, the issue is… all of this is not true. Why are there so many small inconsistencies (that add up to big problems - that creates credibility issues)? This is the key to this story (we do not know the motivation of Isaac… and even then… folks are happily filling in the blanks to meet their expectations). Are we been lead away from the truth rather that to it by doing so?

Wanting to believe this story based on, gee… this would be hard to do, or it looks so real (how do we know what looks real, have we ever seen any real alien technology?) or why would anyone do such a thing… is just being a bit naive. All we have is a collection of pictures, stories and people filling in the blanks to meet their expectations. But if you want to be scientific about it… we need reasonable objective evidence, a consistent, logical and believable story. If a “bucket” can’t hold water, then it is more likely to be a sieve than a bucket, no matter how much you want it to be a bucket.

In that light, I will gladly and humbly eat crow just for you, if I am wrong. wink

its obviously a 35mm slr

i did not intend to do a molecular level analysis, just pointing out angles to exhibit how the reflections on the object are consistent with its surroundings and why.

the degree of accuracy you're implying would be retentive overkill for this simple illustration, which i think holds up.

not a lightbox, white backdrop material off a roll, the scene is well lit, likely using diffusion umbrellas to soften the shadows, looks like a typical product shoot for a catalog, nothing unusual at all

Greetings all--appreciate the fabulous work everyone has done! I am a relatively new lurker -- a now chronic condition brought on by the drone situation. I would like to add a few observations:

(1) Please be aware that LMH now has a vested interest in this story and we should take her 'reporting' with that in mind. I doubt she would put a CGI expert detracting it on her website. I know a bit backstory on her, and although she might seem sincere, she is human and is subject to the same foibles of all reporters -- particularly where personal reference and reputation count for a percentage of the report being considered as real or not. To be clear, I am not saying she is perpetuating a hoax; I am saying that she often sensationalizes, has a leading interview style, and will omit facts. She NEEDS this story to be true! Particularly after the past few years where she has perpetuated stories that were not accurate. A Walter Cronkite, she is not.

(2) As a person who has regularly come in contact with classified documents (including from the 80s), the irregularity of correct 'portion marking' in this document is not unusual--particularly if the program was compartmented (not 'mainstream' classified) and done by contractors. I would not read much into that. In fact, if I were hoaxing it, I would _make sure_ to get it correct. The style, tone, format and general 'information architecture' would be something typically found.

(3) In terms of the document 'having legs' let me assure you that back in the 80s they were nowhere near as security conscious as they are today and seemed more concerned with having security that would protect instrusion than of things getting out. That is, I have worked in a SCIF (Secure Compartmented Information Facility) where inside the facility, things were pretty lax, particularly where many documents are flying around mid-project. Getting things out of the facility can be rather easy -- even today. Disks, drives, documents are not always accounted for in the strictest way. And, a nod to the security guy who you have seen and talked to everyday for years is usually the ticket you would need. But, god forbid, you tried to enter a facility with a cell phone, or brought a radio to your office!

(4) I suspect only portions of this were released for many reasons. It is enough to whet an appetite and show knowledge and try to establish credibility--not solve the puzzle. Giving away the entire engineering would have the MIBs at your door pronto! Showing something that is ultimately not definitive, he has a chance of a normal life and for not throwing civilization and its lingua franca on its head all at once. It's not meant to be totally understood, and most likely, the key piece will not be released. It was a conversation starter, not stopper.

My post is neither pro nor con -- just observations.

This is an excellent post...and I'm very pleased by the correct use of the word "whet" instead of "wet" in the "It is enough to whet the appetite" sentence...correct usage of language always bolsters my confidence in a poster...lol. Good job.

I agree with your sentiment LAU, however in regard to my post there has been an association made - in this very public forum - that is false. I want this rectified. Perhaps if it were you, you might feel differently. Beyond this one very personal point, I agree with you. I hope you stay, I enjoy your contributions.

Another day on "As the UFO Turns"
"The Drone and the Beautiful"

agree... was a bit over the top on both "sides"

(mark did have a right to clear his name though)

I know Mark's name because I have seen his website, and am proud to call him a friend. He is NOT the Mark stated, and as most of you know.... he has a lot of integrity and intelligence.

Moving on...

I want to express that the analysis of the reflections by j w wright is a major breakthrough, that may be able to prove something extraordinary.
For instants... can the camera+photographer be seen in the reflections?

I whish we had the means to extend his work, kind of a Mission Impossible/Star Trek holodeck thing, and recreate the whole scenario out of the reflections.

Ray tracing rendering software (but working backwards!) could be used to construct some kind of environment, but it also implies that we had to create a true 3D rendering of the device, which I believe is not feasible.

So... can we find the camera/photographer in the reflections using todays technology or not?

All the people who matter know who you are, so please don't let this person disturb you. Ryguy does owe you an apology, and you have every right to ask for one.

Now back to the drone enigma.....
