I recognize that sound and it's not ET at all. It's a C-5a air force heavy transport aircraft.

It's been reported many times what the drones sound like. Why do people keep forgetting what has been written? The drones make a high pitched snapping like sound like static discharge and a sub sonic sound that is not heard but felt.

The various ideas about the Drone photos are fascinating to say the least. I really enjoy both sides of the issue.

But there one thing that I have come to learn and that is this:

The topic of UFOs is possibly the most frightening topic that one can discuss on any internet forum. This seems to be the case if the government thinks it's secrests are about to be revealed. It absolutely tops the list.

The "drones" have been said to make a crackling noise.

I think a detector can be fashioned to trip off when hearing a crackling electrical noise then start snapping photos. Many of these detectors can be planted in the woods at Big Basin, and possibly someone will catch a drone in action.

Something that was raised earlier, do they make a sound when invisible?

Probably not... the same technology that bends the light probably bends the sound.

I don't know what happened to all of the forum guys that were going to go hiking up in big Basin and hunt down one of the Drones lol They were all gung-ho about it there for a while. I would go if I lived over there in California. Maybe I can hunt for drones in Texas smiley

"This the exact point I've brought up before. This is the only thing I don't like about the Isaac story. It's the first question that came to my mind when I first read it. Can you image 200 scientists sitting at their first briefing and the speaker says something to the effect "We have this ET technology and we would like to reverse engineer it to make commercial applications". Meanwhile there is a full bird colonel standing to his right. If I'm any of those two hundred I'm saying "right ". rolleyes "

The first step is getting the thing to work, next it goes to "applications" to produce concept hardware, then to test phase, followed by "real world" application, now and finally, if all went well, on to funding for operational deployment. The public application, via the industrial complex, won't happen for years after initial deployment. I worked in this "complex" and that's the way it is. The "toys" I worked on took seven years to be operationally employed- and thats if all steps went without a hitch!

No!

That sound is not the one Kent Steadman sent me.

I have it on my hard drive, but I don't know how to send it to anybody. This is an mp3 file 49 seconds long, and it's embedded in a "Destiny Media Player."

Although you're probably right about that - mostly because it is the BIG unknown - I've never felt that way personally. My fear surrounding contact hasn't been so much about the contact itself, but in my own ability to respond to it appropriately. By that I mean being able to overcome my innate human emotions. Some reactions are pretty instinctual.

What I have always felt is an underlying thrill, a strong current of anticipation. I've known since the age of five (perhaps before) that contact would come in my lifetime. Perhaps this is why when things started to happen this year - increased sightings, heavier crop circle activity, and the drones - I felt that we were very close to what I know is coming. So, I'm not completely unbiased and I admit that. When you've been expecting the arrival of a train and you see the light coming down the track, you hope it's the one that's going your way. Granted this one could just whiz by, but I know in time the cosmic express will arrive!

That's interesting. I don't find it frightening at all. Even if I completely believed in it I wouldn't be frightened. I guess I just don't feel any reason to fear an advanced alien species. Unlike their depiction in movies, I don't think they would bother harming measly humans at all.

For aliens to be a threat we'd have to have something that they want. What resources could some primitive humans possibly provide to aliens that they would find interesting? Mineral resources - I doubt it - they can either create their own material resources with technology or obtain it from countless other sources in the galaxy. Do they want to eat us? I highly doubt their palates would be accustomed to anything from another planet like Earth.

The only thing I can think of is experimentation and study and maybe having humans as pets. Y'know sticking a couple of pet humans in a fishbowl in their ufo or maybe there is a zoo out there on Zeta Reticuli with some missing persons in it.

What a cool concept!

I'm thinking that instead of bending, that it goes right through. Atoms are mostly free space. Maybe something can be done to allow things to pass through all that free space.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear. I am not frightened at all.

I would love to sit down with ET and have some cookies and milk.....shake their hand and say howdy.

I refer to a few people that fear that their Military Secrets will be revealed.

UFO's are the THE number one military SECRET and this fear and secrecy infects all of the media and much of society.

I feel the hi-res photo of the Drone was just a little too much for the military and civilian contractors.

But I grant that I could be very mistaken.

BTW, about the sub sonics the drones make. I got a note from a friend who witnessed a large triangle object in the late '70s. He said the triangle also emitted a sub sonic sound as it passed over him.

Oh!!!! Now that's a different story smiley! I'd agree wholeheartedly there. Still, the topic of fear and individual reactions is a fascinating one. That will no doubt be a foremost concern once the reality of this is finally, undeniably, established.

Very metallic sounding. Interesting. It has a Bonneville Salt Flats sound about it somewhat.

Here's a Pine Bush website.

Sure the "commercial applications" thing is laughable. I'm sure Isaac and his associates knew it too. But as long as they are getting a good paycheck and get to play with the most advanced stuff on the planet, who cares.

I don't know Latitude, I'm not sure here but I think that Dave thought in the terms of a "commercial application" as in that of a drone itself and not the technology that would have been decifered from drone being used in commercial applications. Read what he said again and see what you think.

Dave said....
Quote:
So, Isaac says they are being developed for commercial applications?

Isaac said.... (Plural as in many or many different technologies)
Quote:
product-ready technologies
