Please illustrate it. I don't see how it's possible to tell. The Steven photos have the dual rings toward the back side. More likely they are of the same craft. Think about it. Two guys photograph an odd object like this on the same day in the same park and you think they are two different objects?

I didn't say they were different objects, just that the sightings were not simultaneous. And that assertion was based on the apparent difference in the small dual rings. I agree it is hard to tell conclusively, none of the Ty photos have exactly the same aspect as the Stephen photo.

All the BB photos were taken on the same day, but Ty saw the object appear four times. He was only able to take his photos during the third appearance. Stephen only saw it once.

Extracted from Ty's account:
First: The BB drone appeared for a few seconds two miles away.
The group stopped and spent a half hour talking about what they had seen.
Second: After riding on, it appeared again "like within 3 seconds it was gone", but was only about a mile away.
Third: "Another two miles or so and the third appearence hit. This time we were right near it!" "...it hung there for a good minute or so, during which time I got all the pictures I could!"
Fourth: "It appeared a fourth time, about an hour later, but this time for literally like a split second. We didn't see it again after that."

Stephen says in his account:
"I attached three pictures the first is when it _first_ appeared right as I was taking a shot of the flowers but I wanted you guys to see everything i saw -- sorry I only got 3 pix but this thing was seriously gone in like a matter of secs"

So, it could be that Stephen took his three photos during the first or second time it appeared to Ty.

ROH - "But the EXIF data Xeroid posted are confusing, it don't ad up undecided Xeroid, is this EXIF data from the original pictures?
The resolution is wrong. someone must have down-sized the original pictures then."

You can change the resolution on a digital camera to fit more pictures on its memory card. Why is it confusing for Raj's camera to be set at 600 x 800 rather then maximum?

I don't see an issue with this.

Correct me if I am wrong...

Image Sizes for this camera are (image resolution): 1,600 x 1,200, 1,280 x 960, or 640 x 480 pixels.

There does not appear to be a setting for 800x600 on this camera as you can see here...

http://ca.konicaminolta.com/products/consumer/digital_camera/dimage/dimage-x/page_spec.html

But as I play with this: if I take a photo, crop it and resize it, the reported size will change with it. embarassed cry

I believe there were a few different zip files available at the time. The Raj photos that I have are in two resolutions. Raj took all the photos at 1600x1200. When he uploaded them to the free flickr account they were re-sized to 1024x768 but you could also download them in lower resolutions.

Then Spf33 upgraded the account and Raj uploaded the full size 1600x1200 pics. I have those too.

Yes, I agree. But it is also possible the photos were taken simultaneously too. There is not enough evidence to conclusively say.

But I do applaud you for posting the details of the reports. It had been so long it was a little fuzzy in my mind. Thanks. Maybe one day a movie will be made of this case. I think it should.

And the pictures count number I think is wrong!

Exempel:

PIC_0001 = the first picture
PIC_0002 = 2nd.

IMG001 = 1st
IMG002 =)

So is this the correct counting code for the MINOLTA DiMAGE X:

PICT0001 = 1st pict.
PICT0002 = 2nd pict.

Maby if someone that have the same camera could check this out... or if we find a picture taken with it, on the net.

From Rajmen1977 on the OM forum:
Quote:
12) They still have the memory card. I downloaded the photos and have a copy of them, and knowing them, they STILL probably have not erased the card. So if you guys want 10,000 pictures of us eating dinner on the back deck, you are in luck!

Exempel:

PICT10016 laugh

Or is it that the pictures got this numbers (13-18) becouse some earlier saved pictures on the memory card with this numbers have been erased... undecided

No, more likely that 12 pictures had already been taken that day of the family having dinner (PICT0001 thru PICT0012). Then Raj saw the drone, grabbed the camera and took PICT0013 thru PICT0018.

Latitude, how big do you think the memory card is? cheesy
Look, this family loves too take pictures, and they have been doing it all evening wink

From Rajmen1977:

We had been taking photos all evening and my fiance's parents are KNOWN for never clearing their memory cards and then running out of room at the worst time.

So you think that it's more likely that they only took 12 pictures before the drone pictures...?? 2-1

I think they had only at that point taken 12 pics THAT DAY. My digicam arranges it's pics by date so each days pics will have it's own numbering sequence beginning with PICT0001 in a folder named by date. So maybe they did have an almost full memory card (with a thousand pics) but had only taken 12 pics so far that day. That is most likely what happened.

BTW, what is wrong with this confounded conforums website? Are they running it on a Radio Shack Trash80 ?

Here is another thing. Where are all the subsequent drone reports?
Have they just decided not to appear any longer? Why isn’t there an army of UFO skywatchers / investigators descending on the Tahoe area?
Were they a hoax from Day 1 then? Why haven’t any of the photographers come forward?

You would think (if the photos are real) that they’d at least let themselves be interviewed. The longer this drags on with no more corroborating evidence or progress…the more and more it looks like a hoax.

To answer a piece of your question, I imagine that whatever was jamming (if that's the correct word) their invisibility/cloaking has been identified and shut down. Therefore, no new sightings.

To quote Issac

"The technology itself isn't ours, or at least it wasn't in the 80's. Much like the technology in these crafts themselves, the device capable of remotely hijacking a vehicle's clacking comes from a non-human source too. Why we were given this technology has never been clear to me, but it's responsible for a lot. Our having access to this kind of device, along with our occasionally haphazard experimentation on them, has lead to everything from cloaking malfunctions like this to full-blown crashes. I can assure you that most (and in my opinion all) incidents of UFO crashes or that kind of thing had more to do with our meddling with extremely powerful technology at an inopportune time than it did mechanical failure on their part. Trust me, those things don't fail unless something even more powerful than them makes them fail (intentionally or not). Think of it like a stray bullet. You can be hit by one at any time, without warning, and even the shooter didn't intent to hit you. I can assure you heads are rolling over this as well. If anyone notices a brilliant but sloppy physicist patrolling the streets of Baghdad in the next couple weeks, I'd be willing to guess how he got there. (I kid, of course, as I certainly hope that hasn't actually happened in this case)"

Raf: If you go back and read the first three pages of the Earthfiles email thread and the last two, you would see why the ufologists aren't interested. More then anything, it's a tude they have with LMH and look what it's cost us.

Drewlac and ATO:

Thank you for posting the above.

People have to READ & understand the Isaac material very CARFEFUlLY to understand the situation.

Yes, they probably have put a lockdown on the anti-cloaking device. This is what happens when you let the soldiers play with their toys without adult supervision.

The good thing was that WE got to see and photograph the Drones for the first time in decades. Yippie!!!!!

Then along came Isaac and the rest is history......
