It's the good thing the shills don't swap usernames and avatars around like us ARC, 'cause without stable names and visual aids, it would be next to impossible to tell the Levs from the spfs from the numbnutz from the tunas or the California Tomis. Doesn't matter which is on duty at the moment, though, when you hit a nerve, Boris. The reactions are priceless. cool

In other words a lot like you. I will say this " The Horses of God" ( no religion intended).

I would prefer to say, God is my Co pilot..My Navigator..
But If I be a horse, I try to be the best horse he has..and if my destiny is to be a scrubbrush..then I be the best little scrub brush he has..

In God I confide.and Abide..
I have no other Gods beside Him..

Sorry to hear that about Jake. I'm sure Quincy will have an opportunity to say "Reason has left the building" the next time things get out of hand and Jake is not there to provide some guidance.

Good luck, Jake.

Tomi, I am sure you having traveled that path, will be at its gates
long before us..
Should our intentions ever lead us astray.
Thank you.

The very reason I don't bother and has nothing to do with God in a religious sense. I don't know Jake, so no comment. Now back to the thread subject!!!

Landau deserved the Academy Award for his portrail of Lugosi. Lugosi was Dracula. Sorry off subject.

No its not.too off topic Mask.....this whole saga has been about acting of people..did wonnnnnderful over the keyboards..special mentions are due for quite a few noteworthy thespian performances in this saga, if there were any to be handed out. smiley
Back in Shakespeares day, why it was all men..and they had to play role of women with full dresses....this certainly follows in that tradition..
Imagine if we had to do this with cams..why with nothing left to imagination..it would never get far.

So we know that you have eye for art and eye for film..
It is not your work you are reviewing but someone elses.
But you cannot critique it the LAP and as in a review which, it seems you can but wont.
why is that? with such a gifted background.
Particularly as eastern Orthodox churches in the Mother Country..have that arabeque influence that keep popping up. In fact I saw a Croation piece one time with lettering that reminded the alien letters, a styling that might be more available for commentary by you, than an American reviewer.
One of the most beautiful films I saw was The Keep..stunning scenery and music score..

Anyway..It seems to me..if you are doing oscar
reviews...of American film. international as well .then you most certainly can review work that has the kind of art and design..you say did not appear before..and is unique..possibly to anyone of the European countries..staritng with France, or the rest of freedom land peace loving proletariat of the Russian Federation satellites., including Romania..

I graduated The Arts High-School and then I went to college studying ancient Greek and Latin. During my second year of college I started working as a reporter for the Romanian daily newspaper Independent. It lasted for six months. After spending all the rest of that year (that is 2000) looking for another job, in 2001 I have met the editor in chief from the daily newspaper Cronica Romana and he offered me a job at the Arts Department. I became their film critic.

As a film critic I was a member of two juries for The International Film Festival DaKino 2001 and The International Short Film Festival CineMaIubit, both taking place in Bucharest. I won the award for the best young film critic of Romania in 2002, the award for the best opinion article of the year and I was admitted in The Association Of The Romanian Film Critics that sent me to The International Film Festival from Berlin in 2002 to represent them in the jury of the short film category. In August 2002 I was named foreign correspondent in the USA. Now I am writing a book on The Academy Awards.

That being said..you also..originally are from Morocco..where even moreso you would be exposed to arab-african art as well. Your parents also worked in Oil Fields..ie
would know what pipe cleaning pigs and equipment..look like. even if only a child..of six..

am I correct on your background..?
Its right off the blurb..I want to be accurate..

Just curious..Is your father an Engineer? by the way..
It would fit your initial hypothesis.. smiley
I found someone here that might fit the bill
http://www.linkedin.com/pub/andrei-nita/10/25a/181
are you related?

Say..Don't you agree Terminator Salvation Voided terribly.
Do you agree Sarah Conners deserves a Chance..
Do you anyone at Halcyon or C2 warners Personally?
Did you finish your book, and are you doing another one here involving sc fi horror pictures or related ..
Thanx! smiley
