Skulls are certainly a good reminder of our mortality. They were used at the beginning of this saga a a tie in to the Mayan prophecy , another nice reminder of the end of a cycle, and the beginning of another.

From the website of Nic Poussain and other artists..

In Mexican and A culture, death i celebrated a something to be acknowledged..a transition..to be embraced with the underatnding we can honor those who went on, and even invite them back for a few days and commune with us and also reminded to go back and move on. That known a day of the dead, that begin almot concurrently with our Halloween here in the state and elsewhere, where it something not to be thought of at all..something quite final and to be avoided...
And if you see or hear someone or something in the dark..it to be feared..so we have our glowing eyes in the wood our Mib, et.
I wonder how thee two will mesh as we become more global..what will that spawn.. The imagery of ufology I think will a death transforms u..transform that..much the same way the early religion clashed gave way to something else..famiilar but not quite the same.
that theme i found by sheer accident when I was following ta blog which poted that excellent treatment of memes by artist groups..The author of that blog wa Ty Brown..(Noooo I.m not going there) but to the respndent..which lited hi name as
ET in Arcadium ego
in a French website..
of artists that delved into the mytery of Arcadia..the yearning for the pastoral good old days..much like we see in ufology and jut about any human endeavour

Just a Valle and John keel and others like Sparks. and Lev came to think of the ufo phenomenon a from forces predating man..that co exist with us.
so im placing the subsequent treatment i found by wiki on the matter, and in that context perhaps gain a better undersatanding of what the artist here wa trying to do, except..that the other aspect of the art the letters , and diagrams, those loops , the sigiltry, all seemed for some to work together. In fact, Iaac inisted on it. from the Man woman birth to be..and as here alluions directly or indirectly......death....ever preent..whether by stray bullet..or killed violently by the system. or war...and several slugs added to boot....all neatly put together..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Et_in_Arcadia_ego
http://www.parnasse.com/etpnt.htm
http://www.parnasse.com/net.in.arcadia.html.

I am only dealing with the art apect and my interpretaion from what i see..it not a who dunnit on this thread..
Thank you

cool

hI TOMI., I dont see where I said that..can you show me or was that just mentioned in the wiki or links..I said no such thing..Did you read my post..I'm talking imagery over the centturies.those things haven't changed on themes..I am clueles as to what that that is the priori..merely another run of the mill interpretations and more conspiracy..cultural/religious clashes..imagery, power, art a language , art as politicals statement, manipulation, information, and control..imagery anyone can use for their own purpose..whether hoax or prank or simple appreciation or pure commerce....
Lev dropped a skull in....nice skul ..prettty skull..may mean different thing to different people..to some mayan..to some satanic...to some Pirate of the Caribean..to me a nice pen and pencil holder..who knows,
but if you know the target audience..you know what thoughts and ideation..to evoke..what image to use.

I see nowhere I'm saying anything other than that. Not trying to be contrary with you..please understand..that.. no..looking at how lev ..then attos similar work with Egyptian symbology in videos..and past statements....it easier to understand where they are coming from..with their art..and going to with them.
Here skulls are also utlilized
The same stylized art like Levs which no doubt was sent to Atto, who then says it was from Dan Sheehan, a lawyer who claims to have seen alien craft and writing,
Atto agreed with the understanding that he would meet some upper level dark figure ..But alas..that was not to be when the problem of potential litigation crept in.

This wa no real alien artifact copy..no..it was a mish mash of aurebesh from star wars and our drone, as well as litlle pieces from warcraft that an ATS poster analyzed..
User Image
I liked the bling effect .

and those litlle side skulls exchanging blood to become human hybrid..weird sht...no doubt..but it was an attempt to decieve..the ufo community..what better place to put it..then OMF.those folx will believe anything...right Atto?makes you wonder what the agenda is when this would hurt not help. What are you all thinking of..?
Sure wouldn't fly here or at ATS
still nice to look at it..like most eye candy..
. cool grin

To his credit..Atto has since last year.. changed his site..all those great posts of mine gone with the wind..and renounced any involvement with the drone drama..Got religion the boy did...a new leaf!! but....old habits are hard to break..

in February he went back to the Caret site..Todds site..and started commenting on the importance of it all..and how the dominator culture will not permit this to come out in the open..

Its been my experience that such clashes do occurr..but here the Dominator culture was reality based vs one based on flights of fancy..

Its been my experience. also...that you don't have to believe everything you think.

Hi Sys,

Well, mostly I was just being flippant because Et in Arcadia Ego figures so strongly in the rabbit hole surrounding the mystery of Rennes-le-Château as does the Priory de Sion.

Now this is a rabbit hole mystery that has consumed peoples lives, even troops of Nazi's were deployed into "Arcadia", and killed a great number of local people to find the "holy Grail".

So.. since you mentioned it ..... and since this is probably the greatest longest running mystery of all, I had to bring it up.

Dan Brown hijacked the story and spread it into mainstream with his book The Da Vinci Code. Funny how here we are, just like the early investigators who wrote the Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, chasing artists. Only our artists are still alive..

Actually I had brought it up earlier when I noted that I believe the actual siteings found are the basis of a pentacle. Well, this was the case years ago too. The main postitions within the Holy Grail mystery were placed in a geographical placement that formed a pentacle. That is where I first learned of this practice.

Atto let me join that site so I could dig through your work during my process of discovery and then it disappeared as you say. A great resource it was too.
And art following life or life following art.. the female scientist in Sara Conners mystery.... amazing coincidence as well....... you know what I mean here I think smiley Cheers.

Yep, another coincidence ! grin

Seriously, I know they run thick in this drone saga, but you have to believe in them otherwise.. Oh, that way madness lies..

I mentiond at ATS there was a moorph game Jade dynasty made in china and released in U may 2007..but in China earlier..Its quite a beautiful game( and expensive to play) dealing with virtual communities and characters in mythological based setting.
It was surprising to see similar imagery during combat ..the lap nodes and octagonals..which all resembled the fenhui dials of old as well.
in one serves a a power source on my pet called a stonus..it rotates and jut like one would imagine a power source to do.
we cant leave out the rest of the drone art and discuss only the aesthetics of the crafts ..(spelled by isac like that if i recall..both in narrayive and photos) and leave out the rest of the team..Jut like film artist Whedon draws heavily from the Asians and Alienware and Warners.. drawing freely from the hoaxers...who knows maybe they are all joined at the hip..call it cultural form of osmosis..with by product being adaption..reconfiguraton..of the same..
old faces with new idea or old ideas with new faces..
I actually enjoy this game..i even ride. a Giant Panda! and Dragon!..

who knows..where what comes from where anymore in the global community..maybe as someone blurted, it been sooo long now.. at omf..the drones aren't from california..
I'll post some additional these were quick snaps i did..enjoy
They could be from india china uk..maybe all of the above....but thats not my focus here..rather how nice the graphics works..whether they ued vue blender or crayons..it communicates the functions well..as language art or vice versa should..sometimes doesnt and like the self assembling IronmanII suitcase...a reviewer said..we know its imposible..but dam ain't it cool..

Icarus, how long did it take to create some of the art on your blog?
Especially one from scratch?

Thanks

I swear every time I look at the boat in the villa it gets more gray and contrasty. It originally struck me as just white - must be my eyes or monitor. grin
The dolphin is still my fave with the thing in fish bowl and ground level alien shot close behind. Your non-drone works are very interesting - like moms card. smiley

I Posted here as it seemed the more appropriate thread.

Yes the fishbowl is very interesting..and i love the flowers scene should have made it bigger. I have to adjust monitor.. as angle will cause a dim look..
Those aliens out of the ship underneath ..close up..are sick !!!!(compliment like phat grin )

very reminiscent of the old masters like Sternbach in the if and Galaxy...and plethora of magazines thinkers got their ideas from..God do I miss them...as writers and illustrators...they gave real food for the mind..that impacted science even..You must have done a lot of magazine layouts in real like..it' that good..

IC You actually are getting better and better as we post. with no end in sight or you had it all along waiting to unleash it..good timing..reminds me of neverending story..when the darkness of lack of imagination was eating away at the world...along came a good story to save the kingdom and the world from oblivion..
You seem to leave in all the works an element of danger..the flowers and boat scene ..people are missing..its quiet inviting but too quiet..makes us hesitate to approach. in effect..only if you dare...keep your distance...is this deliberate..or is it my imagination.?

keep up the great work..

More like allowed room to grow and be seen..sometimes intervention even by creators can stunt growth.
Thats why I keep admonishing its not an investigative thread.
Still This thread is a nice place as is by the way your blog .
Call it a Nuforc center niche for the great collective unconscious. The Carl Jung experience..for Pre Drone and Drone art.. I saw a drone like piece quite by accident I absolutely fell in love with.
The creator a talented CGI person from France I believe wanted to capture the vision of the future as seen thru the eyes of someone in the past.
Simply Epic! Great job ,imo.

Ill have to edit the link as I'm sure the CGsociety will sever it soon enough.

A recent visitor to ATS Top-Draw created these as inspired by the LAP nodes. I down loaded them from Deviant Art These are circa 2009 quite eye catching
