A note of thanx to Katterfelto for the the NIght Shift Creation..
I would be remiss and dishonest if I were to neglect the skillful use of the embedded imagery, which present us a mosaic of faces and assorted figures. . What drew my attention was the word Help, highlighted. From a normal perspective one could say the dolls were asking for help, but in a way one can say perhaps, the figures on the other side. Bringing to mind purgatory, or hell snd its nine rings ala Dante's in Inferno (not the EA one please), though most of the faces seem just posing or looking.

One can think of the prior references to essences or souls being injected through a factory process, much like early films in matrix and cyberpunk thrillers, where the mind is injected into another body. Atto, Dan (you'll never guess who in his email descriptor}Ramsey made use of similar analogy in the Alien Jewlery piece I posted at the beginning of this thread ,
http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc191/sys_config/azimuthcircle2A12.jpg
showing progressions of peculiar transfusions of blood (essence)leading to hybrid creations.Twilight zone covered the aspect of rebirth or cycling via memory transfer.... decades ago..religions make use of this concept.
Whether its the process of Buddhism, Christianity, or the bizarre 20th century tech offshoots..Scientology, or The Drone factory here..figuratively the process for all of them, may vary, but the effect are always the same, death is always uncomfortably with us..and we chase .immortality, or at least strive for some assurance there is a room with a "continental" bed and breakfast waiting for us on the other side if the promised mansions ,Xanadu, or seven virgins or transferring your essence to a drone.. do not pan out.I rather liked the twilight zones ending..where The old ones decided they wanted their old bodies back, and another episode had an old man decide he wanted no part of heaven, if he couldn't bring his dog inside the "pearly gates".Now those were class acts. Still , by allusion and alliteration, or other convenient device..we have a divine comedy indeed..and that is not a bad thing at all, not even on the day shift, night shift or graveyard shifts, the process..keeps going like a train..without need of fuel or belief..
The key is to have and keep active imagination like a child's to enjoy a many times bumpy ride, whether on a train, plane, or other "Transport "device" we crave the real thing..

Thank you Klat...I don't know what to say...Did you know Mark Twain, Thank you Double, was a riverboat pilot, before his brother was killed on one in an explosion? he turned to the paranormal for comfort, for a while, spoke with Tesla and Edison, helped Helen Keller, wrote some of the greatest essays on womens suffrage.. In his latter years, He lost most of his fortune on inventions, yet..despite Bankruptcy, he paid his debts, when he did not have to. A remarkable man of no small significance and impact even today. Its from men like this and those I have already discussed that our artists and writers and "players" here drew their inspiration from. Like runners in baton race, we pass it on to the next runner....as they tried through the drone device and LAP pass it on to those willing to hear and listen...we are all pilots of our own ship. Sometimes strange passengers s climb aboard like the gamblers in Huck Finn and their motives we know from the story were less than altruistic..but eventually..the journey was completed. Maybe this thread will be a lighthouse by which to navigate by. and reach the intended destination..The alternative would be a real and tragic disaster, imo.

Ahh.Klat...you reached into the reflections in the river water and pulled out out something more useful than an old tire or beer can. Great observation, Your Muse analogy, (nice music!)c as well, did not go wasted as the groups use of figurines clay or plastic denotes a skilled capacity at studio level image manipulation, Klat , comparable Aardman people for example.

I prefer not to be at war with starving musicians or artists. We are all both sides of the same coin. We both rage against the machine and mediocrity. What better way, what better mediums. than and art and music, and writing are the best weapons to fight. It is mediocrity, and indifference to cultures, that propel us into wars, conflicts and strife. Who is the enemy of these is my friend. Many, Most, Like Zombies..like drones follow most naturally, into what is the very un natural act of self destruction. Unlike bee drones, we have no hollow logs or cavities to form another hive.
Remember Klat, Like in the movie Soylent Green, Edward G Robinson volunteers for euthenasia, with the reward being sterile clean sheets and projected imagery of times lost forever..kept as a secret , only for those willing to choose an early death.. whilst we consumed ourselves in the form of colorful animal crackers, fighting each other for the crumbs. A very dystopic future we approach..
.
One that need not be that way..and as we see it today.

I kinda left eating meat a while back..but The Vegans will have a field day with that..lol..
If they wanted to end hunger..stop wars, and turn the swords in plowhares..
shocked..I thought there was a move to eat bugs, which is not forbidden by the Old testament
Unbelievable.
The Bible said it was Kosher to eat locusts, but not shellfish..given a choice here I will take the shellfish..
We should heed Solomons words..
Take a lesson from the ants, sluggard. Learn from their ways and be wise! Even though
they have no prince, governor, or ruler to make them work, they labor hard all summer, gathering food

for the winter. Proverbs 6:6-8

Ants Rock..like these antyphiles that I should have thrown in my example with aardman. I was lazy. But that was a sweet pix Katterfelto.

That is sooo interesting Cloak/Cass and from a male perspective I am sure provocative to you as that was the audience intended even at that time. Fear pumping Violence and titillation....a helpless female to boot .Same stuff video games packaged with.. ..Maybe it was the sort of thing kept under mattresses with the rest of the playboy mags, in a teenagers room. Who knows. rolleyesshhh
The drone art we refer to and their inspiration I thing were more towards arousing the spirit..and the mind inside the other head and not he loin area. But there are collectors for everything, but hopefully not this one.The poop article would make a great science news report in the off topic, shame to have it here.
I will recarry where we left off from at the ant, amazing analogies can be had from Katterfeltos piece. I am thinking of posting some of SPF33 and other DRT artwork., even Douglasses Urantian symbolgy..Art music is the bridge.when words fail us...inspirations from nature..a common bond to all of us..the seas and oceans , knowledge that can serve us..or kill us..depending on our wisdom, love, respect and sacredness of life all around us.
Special salute to SpaceBot...

My Dear boy, its a natural thing. Much like the doggy perceives the wooden doggy form, thinks it's real, or decides to hump the knee, whether he perceives your knee as alien or not , the urge is there. we would call that arousal, but we would not for the most part call that an awakening. No moral arguments or judgement , just a detached observation..and opinion. I recall months ago your profile at a game site that had no qualms among your peers, to express yourself openly about the act. No need here either. Lots of art and advertising is geared to and has that affinity and is exploited deliberately. While the drone craft is given to us as an autonomous vehicle, independent,,and later in the T Connor episode as a sentient living thing infused with the Oltissis essence..as our own God9s) gave us a spark of himself/themselves. in fact..it was more a cry for help..they needed a place to survive...I saw no attempt at arousal..but awakening yes. But..at a deeper level..there is a desire to possess..something of the other. they...our world..and Ted their "pleasure" palaces by both sides of that equation..pondering the rush of thoughts in that direction..I can concede..it giving a a rise to those so inclined.
The following are not so suttle..and things like eye candy..have not changed all that much..but gee..some really great stuff out there.

These desires to possess that which appears different, or beautiful,

greater or unattainable.s a universal trait of evolution, to assure survival and a difference conferring an edge..and expressed in in our arts and human interactions with the world about us. But a small voice always tells us..Everything has a cost attached(no pun intended)

Hi Klat yes , women always make a great way to stir the pot..in movies Corman is Corman..Cameron is Cameron..they all seem to throw the woman in there..Then they were helpless..now like Sarah Conners..they are not..Did the Hoaxers throw a woman in there?..save the brief narratives..of Chads fiance..and the old bag American Shirley with a UK greeting..no..They were operating at a higher conceptual level that was multi threaded in objectives, besides pecuniary, and in parnership with others..polymorphic in effect not, however,..pollyanna..
I made this thread specifically..for the unsung heroes..Everyone else had their turn..whether starving artists and musicians beating their brains out for a chance to be part of a game or movie..I salute them.. The linguistics and semantics scrabble people..well..I will reserve comment for later. smiley

Guys...all I was pointing out in that cool movie poster is that the sexy starlet under alien sex-slave pressure is no less a gifted actress as 'Joanie Cunningham'/Erin Moran.

(I was secretly hoping for a 2011 remake starring Traci Lords and Louis CK)

I'm aware of this. My initial post was a simple attempt at humour, my subsequent post a fitting response to what I perceived to be an unnecessary, arrogant dismissal of a contribution (of sorts) as mundane, everyday teenage lust when it was nothing of the sort.

@Sys_Config: I'm well aware of the philosophical and psychological explanations/theories pertaining to interspecies sex, but thank-you all the same.

For a smart person you seem rather slow to pick up on humour, and in fact behaved rather aggressively just towards someone expressing something you didn't approve of. If I chose to I could post a harangue about how your actions mirrored those of a teenager struggling to contain pent-up rage, or assert that your interest in UFOs is quite reminiscent of the generic teenage conspiracy kiddie...but I think I will spare you of this, because it would add more fuel to the fire and illustrate (embarrassingly, for you) that there might be room for development within yourself yet.

I will refrain from posting about this disagreement again because I fear it might derail a perfectly good topic and create work for the mods. I apologise openly to those 'innocent bystanders' these few posts might have offended, and also to Қℓάť, of course.

Thank you for the passive -agressive remark. You on the other hand are consistent,, You have an uncanny inability to comprehend the obvious along with the obsession to remind everyone you are a teenager across the internet. .when nobody cares in the least......Again If you do have the ability to self moderate..There is a thread specifically for that. Kindly delete the off topic post or just .please in the future go there

No Old Friend, perhaps it is I getting too old. Though an assault on the senses or world view, your article and image was spot on.
I always wondered where the Enterprise in Star Trek got its molecules for that delicious food.. Its the recognition that sciences and arts and writing are transforming nature itself faster than our very senses can keep up with.
Cormans art which we lament passing is like looking at Victor Hugos work how an idea via the newly invented Printing Press in Germany can transform and move people, and expose vaster audiences to new perspectives such as social caste, gender roles, religion, and so on.
Il existe à cette époque, pour la pensée écrite en pierre, un privilége tout-à-fait comparable à notre liberté actuelle de la presse. C'est la liberté de l'architecture.

There exists in this era, for thoughts written in stone, a privilege absolutely comparable to our current freedom of the press. It is the freedom of architecture.
—Book V, Chapter 2

Only art of architecture, at the time, where no building could be taller than a church, lest we violate the rules of God above all.
The connotation being we resist change and determinism..
The internet is our printing press, but where written words and ideas are a hundred times more fluid, and bridges us to past present and future. It has made it possible in a real way, to touch God Himself by exposing and enriching us with an infinity of truth from the Tree of knowledge.. as well as the Snakes of the Garden..a hundred fold as well..that still slither loose...such is the nature of Eden
But with those truths is the reality we have to assume some more of the Big Bosses daily duties..Can we fill his shoes?..I don't know. Will he be back..Like Isaac, perhaps he is waiting for the dust of his creation to settle down..just as he said..
An Interesting exchange in the first 5 minutes of this scene in The Hunchback of Notre Dame

We sometimes have to lose our heads, before we can find them Klat.
There is no Arc though, anymore merely dissolved, though the elements that made it form remain, like the Drone, our Herald..
Is ufology dead? is Roswell, the Cathedral dead..? a good thing that happened to Cathedrals after Hugos time was that a revival took place resulting in the restoration of the one we see in France..

Much like we see the retro art and preservation of Corman's and hundreds of others, that will keep their dreams and visions alive.
To be shared by all of us such as the posts image listed earlier.

Perhaps Lev is our Quasimodo or the Young Poet, protecting Esmeralda the Gypsy, or even you your own way, carrying a struggle to keep it alive as much as Lev., because you need the clash of ideas to feel alive. And don't we all. But often the ideas we seek to protect, or to kill, can lead to unintended consequences..Like holding the bird in hand too tight, we choke it, or too carelessly.. ..gets away.

If one had the innate power and self-control to moderate one's own inner lustful urges don't you think there would be a lot less useless hoaxing going around?
IF and Then you know is very open ended.
Why yes, IF one understands the nature of the beast, and focus as the tiger focuses on one and only one Zebra, among the hundreds ,amid the array of stripes meant to confuse a predator, well then we would have a lot more useful hoaxes, I believe I made that analogy back in 2007 to PJ, bless his heart.
WE must remember that 2006 and up The PTB had millions to invest and were keen to use the Social networks and forums, Carat and meany others, being noobs in this touchy area.. met at that time in Hong kong..how to exploit this growth opportunity and follow the examples Ammo and EA, probably the most experienced in this arena, that exploited the UFO forums..gobbled up by Carat-Fusion then gobbled up by Aegis. Dell gobbled up AW to prevent competition with its Server business. These do not happen willy . They are focused, based on survival and greed , transfigurative terms for our personal sins, like lust vanity gluttony, to perpetuate their kind. We can say there but for the grace go I, being able to put ourselves in theirs or the victims shoes. Victim can be the Hoaxee, or the thousands of Graphic artists laid off after their cannabalistic mergers.. It was a volatile period for Warners, Fox and their like, and coming together for their own good is not surprising.Yes like grandma giving us a teaspoon of bad medicine, she says Demis , this good for you..upon looking closer at her we notice an abnormal amount of hair growth, and her dentures rather toothy, and smile with come a lil bit closer..too inviting.
Is deception a good thing?...why of course!..it worked for Ghengis Khan , on the battlefield.. , The Lion or Tiger does not always get its prey..but it's tactics stay the same..
If the project was a failure, trust me..They study it and understand why..in business it's called a justifiable failure...have quantified results for the next time to assure success. Unlike the tiger..they can change tactics. Lev already said so. His words were not hollow, irrespective of state of mind as portrayed to us.

Some called him a mad man, others a saint..certainly he helped bring Change.
Double was right..It might make a Russian size novel..or novellete, at least. Say do you speak Russian or Polish? I remember you told me you were part Dutch, but not what the other part was.. and with that linguistic mastery .well the sky is the limit! Sacre Bleu! wink
You know something? Klat...you may very well be THE ONE I have been waiting for that can break the Circle Jerking upstairs you mentioned.

That would be sooo...Chevere si? no? wink
