You have a way with words Klat..but my days of Knight from da hood are over. Im old now,, My pure heart.no longer beats and throbs..it waxes and wanes fainter with each passage of the moon.....the metal armor fatigued, tortured and battered by the elements, not to mention those windmills! The ARC needed not only new blood..but a new pump to make it circulate!..Not someone like myself almost on life support..Yes Lad..someone like....you..

User Image

I Have decided to pass on the Chairmanship of the ARC..to you..Yes..YOU!.no shyness , coyness, or theatrics please.....it is unbecoming , por favor.....it is well deserved.you have earned every stripe...even the Biblical ones...I will fade into the stadium bleachers..and watch the games...waiting..hoping .. like those bleacher bums from Brooklyn ..maybe someday..you will hit one my way.
smiley You have demonstrated ..that it is more important..being a good doer than a do gooder.. grin
No mea culpas, no E'tu Brute..no Adieus ..It's not all hopeless when everybody knows..

You didn't show me any respect when you mutilated the piece I posted a few pages back. I'd appreciate it if you'd take that down.

You are Right!.Consider it Done BW!I wished you had pm'd but that is ok..me to you too..but ..you can leave the one you changed hues..Lots of artists leave their signatures or the real meaning of the art piece....my intent I explained already..following that post...as you showed on the lil prince one. Its good for ones point to be hi-ligted in an independent second example. I have enough of those already..but my apologies..and you'rs stands unique.. And I appreciate your encouragement with the Zbrush.smiley

Requirements specification is an important problem in software engineering. Key challenges in Requirements Engineering (RE) include enabling different stakeholders to understand and validate the requirements, and enabling collaboration among different types of stakeholders with different skills and expertise and potentially conflicting needs and expectations. We contend that collaboration among both technical and non-technical stakeholders is improved by a requirements specification technique that provides both precision and usability - and a better balance of the two. We implement our specification technique in iMuse - Interactive Model-based Use-case and Storytelling Environment. In this demo, we show how iMuse can be used by stakeholders to express and view narrative functional requirements.

Siddhartha
applies the domain-specific language (DSL) paradigm to solve difficult problems in specification-based testing (SBT). Domain-specific test case data specifications (TestSpecs) and difficult-to-test program design styles engender difficult SBT problems, which are the essential phenomena of interest to Siddhartha. Difficult-to-test program design styles are explicitly represented by domain-specific, unit test driver reference designs that accommodate the problematic program design styles. DSLs are developed to represent both TestSpecs and Driver reference designs. A DSL language processing tool (a translator) is developed that maps TestSpecs into Drivers. We developed a prototype implementation of Siddhartha via Reasoning SDK (formerly known as Software Refinery) and developed two domain-specific TestSpec-> Driver translators. Each translator generated Drivers that revealed new failures in a real-world digital flight control application program.

Arthur Alexander Reyes Feb. 16, 1964-Nov 22, 2009..Interested not in the Drone..but their language....the search for answers to perfection in his world and our world thru his lens were the programs he worked with. SiddHartha and Imuse and many others . designed to seek out failure within the great architectures of programs not perceptible or even anticipated by their creators. His like some here is the quest for the perfect interface , the perfect language..the Esperanta , the Rosetta stone of all machines ..to communications..A friend, or at least a great spirit WE hardly knew., but whose dreams live on and touch us thru his Thundercats, and students, and colleagues..and which certainly are instrumental in helping us achieve our own aspirations.
How I wish there were a better interface and language for the matters of the heart..both in his life and ours.

Klat ..and any lusty frog out there..

I found this of interest .from a time not so far off..Marvin and others in this story for sure would like it as well ..we have collectors of such memoribilia parts, lapel pins even for dress, . I have a brother who works in dismantling aircraft at a salvage or graveyard ..we spoke today , whilst this hurricane outside passed..We perhaps can envision our own personal war..the dropping of ideas into settled communities of conformity, the effective seeding as our Lev liked to point out..some ideas..like a musicians..an artist..a writer..a prophet.all...nonconformists.. are explosive..so much so that they they can overwhelm..Our ideas can be like the real drone ants,,bees ..working with nature harmonically..or like the hybrid artificial African bee..replacing ..destroying what was before it..not the intended purpose of its creators..The same will happen I believe with the transgenic..patentable ideas from Monsanto..which we know from Julian Assanges wiki leaks..was armtwisting governments as pre conditions for other favors.
While the drone itself seemed a simple commercial product..as Caret intended..I believe there will be a trickle up , like ants going up a giant redwood..as the suppressed messages collective artists surfaces to the top..with time...But returning to this art..personalizing or toys or our weapons..is a very personal thing..especially as one comes face to face with death..empowering with comfort and confidence..as do masks..

In passing through other tributaries on my raft.. I came across this exquisitely delightful piece no connection implied..
User Image

A-musing to to say the least..far off from the center of controversy it nevertheless reflects the scrapbook texture of our story. The farther off from the controversy the closer I feel to an answer.Imagine playing hopscotch on a giant quilt, and each stitched square..is another world. We have history, Literature, music, philosophy and as with the Japanese group..Satanspornoworkshop, and UB radio, the retro and the avante garde..all of them in one way or another..act as librarians and psycho archeologists each preserving a piece of the past from which they came to compare distinguish..or even return to.
It certainly raises the question how do we preserve what was..while at the same time change so rapidly.and the mediums of preservation are so volatile. ,,like a scanned copy loses a few pixels to the next..at the end of a few thousand copies you have a blank page.redundancy is inadequate..Perhaps Farenheit 451 was not so far off.

Amused, bemused, confused..of course not..bewitched, enlightened..of course..
I recall VonStern once posted a vid on holograms 3d work..hinted by Caret in the projections....I wonder how that patch on the quilt is working out..

I can imagine a large amphitheater..doing reenactments of famous historical events..a naval battle, Gladiators ,a volcanic eruption ..Massive orgies, why it Boggles the mind!
Its theorized that the Romans celebrated victories with such scenes , by ingeniously filling it with water. and placing ships in same..I am not sure whether real actors or slaves were used. I imagine actors or intended endings might stray from the script, But digitally we can give it whatever ending we want..Whew!
I bet some VJ at the Palladium discoteques is pondering this right now!..who needs the real thing to give a lap dance..it's all in the head anyway. I can hear them playing who let the frogs loose to accompany the imagery..

Or Was that young Dumb and From Brooklyn?..That sounds and feels more like it...
On a another sidenote..

Enough cannot be said about the explosion of self expression and formation
neo tribes and their para spirtual music... All like a laptop or other product seeking btand identity, uniqueness, still in the end..
wind up just as katterfelto said one day "another stick in the mud."
If we peruse actual ceremonies of tribes and their shamen we knot their is a coordination of movement.
between members, verses the individualized hopping, and arm stretching in the follwing youtube festivals, in Japan, and the us.
It is the community and cooperation vs the percieved conscious liberation of self that make such a a stark but facinating contrast.
A member of the latter, cannot count on help from the latter as opposed to the former. Despite the copy cat tatooing, the piercing of
genitalia, and fusion of techno babble or lingo.over a cup of Latte...because the group does it.I would not equate them as a true tribe m showing cooperation on colorful festivals. Once the festival is over..its back to 9 to 5..what was important were the lights..neuron bashing blitz of sound..whatever message conveyed d was thru the shaman.
where the Techno shamen become the center rather than the tribe gathering itself..the focus of celebration.
Still we can still see the general lookin good..and strut and chicken style so prevelant at any of these events
Tribal Fusion is beautiful in concept..but whereas the ying yang wheel was spinning in Dance fever..it seemed to slow down to a crawl.. at the Tribal fusion groups..whose movement resembled more spasms..to corpses that have but a glimmer of life left in them.
I would venture to say..they closer to the drone mentality..than the one sin polyster suits stayin alive..just an opinion of course..
If you make it past 2 of these you are good.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aL2HltRdpQw&feature=related

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHBHVxpXL6w&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KT3Whbe_fmc

Contrast ..with the closer coordinated movements Here..of course ..one cannot ignore the Man top..woman bottom..slut message throughout movie..
Still, it was for selection of the fittest from a Darwanistic perspective, a clash of Urban sub tribes, Puertorican, Italian,Black, etc.[youtube]
In the Fusion..its an amorphous blob..a croud held mesmerized by light and sound, and whatever they brung with em in ther Brown bags.

It is being argued in the circles that study such matters..that despite tribal warfare in ancient times, there was actually less bloodshed..

The competition for resources, has resulted in extermination of real tribes and increased wars .as we speak.
We are the Tribe..the ETs conquering the remaining..leftovers from paradise, in many quarters..the new Axis of Evil.

User Image

Without going into that minefield of Kings and Drone wars.....if you feel you want to belong.. you too can be part of tribe and dance like Tony manero, Sarkozi and Obama..or easier..Bluetech..and Android Joines and countless techno shamans..that have been to Oltissis many times via their turntables.
Why Berslusconi himself learned from this man, his personal trainer... If the Chinese PM and all these men who lack natural rythm can..
you can too.

cool that is so..kewl

Sigh...But I digress..Nasa is dead..but I don't think the Drone and who made it is having provided their audience in our amphitheaters to be both spectator and participant..to reach destinations to outworlds real and imagined, and inwards to where even angels fear to tread..there are risks in every journey..particularly in those journey like the first explorers, risks minimized by reaching back to experiences accumulated over a long period of time. Do we break as the old branch with our mind made up moralizing....resisting the wind, or bend with the wind and remain standing afterwards. Have our lenses we see the world thru become to foggy..that the become blinders A myopic or tunnel vision. points of view,
..I hope not. And it is clear to me we are beyond the molecular physics or brownian motion of ideas..because we do have something molecules don't..choice., and choosing with courage, compassion, and understanding, can lead to such surprisingly wonderful canvasses.

Thank you Marvin and Katterfelto..those were a great gesture and I cannot express my appreciation enough. I decided to take the invitation to try my hand to try this amazing mosaic technique that had me stymied for so long I used nearly 3 thousand of my archived photos of nearly six thousand. I hope if u can manage the acual 40 meg download..shades of Woy.. you will arrive at percent just like the LAP and 100" see really amazing detail see the photos . At 200 u can read all the docouments as if they were in your hands... Something for obvious reasons..the Creators of the Lap were not inclined to do in there work and other actors photos... But I understand , truly I do. I tried to make it an accurate representation of all we did together..even at 3 k ..it does not touch the surface of what you all accomplished. is in there, and many will recognize some, never brought into discussion. Occasional family photos..as we are all inextrably one family. Something in these difficult times we must never forget. Wow. cool It was like revisiting all the past posts here and there.

I only had around 500 images and had to limit output to grayscale because of of not enough color variation. I wanted to try and use only the Isaac fonts almost down to the pixel level but have not had much luck.

Good to hear from you and thanks for sharing that image.

Holy crap! shocked Welcome back, Sysco. I had wondered what you were up to. That's a trip to zoom in, like reliving the epic saga, as Katt said. A most impressive and beautiful piece of work. Hendrix! Tomi! Nixon! Isaac! and on and on. Haven't found Shirley yet, but she is surely there someplace.

I knew you couldn't stay away from here any better than the rest of us. smiley
