Too funny, the forgotten little drone in Alabama that was not. grin

Nice find!

Lev has been at the top of my suspect list for over two years now (which I have shared with a select few)... It looks like he was hoping to get caught (and maybe it has been frustrating for him to wait for the accolades he wanted).

Lev, I have always said you do good work (you little devil you).

So he is probably a pencil neck geek and teaches at that local college, probably graphic design.

No offence to any PNGs.

You know these types all gather and are probably haveing so many laughs over this.

Not you Kris.

I wonder if that Lake Linda is named after a famous dronologist. grin

I don't know about that but maybe LMH talked to Lev herself.. grin

From Whits own words....

Quote:
Linda Moulton Howe and I have been deeply involved in the mystery of the "Drones," the first pictures of which appeared on the Coast to Coast AM website in May. Subsequently, Linda interviewed "Sylvia" on Dreamland and got pictures from "Mr Smith" in Birmingham, Alabama. She also spoke extensively to him, as she did to "Chad," and is convinced of their honesty.

If you ask me, I say Lev/Masker is in all the drone sightings. The Alabama drone came right on schedule with all the others. The cover letter is very similar in writing style to all the other letters. I feel his graphics were purposely of sub par rendering so as not to appear talented enough to arouse suspicion upon himself. I really feel he is the one or is at least associated with the actual hoaxers.

Can you just imagine, him and a few grad students at the student union, laughing their heads off, while they sip coffee before next class.

Well I went pole hunting again because something was bothering me. Another one of those leviathan6 pole/drones had street lights not consistent with the previous one. So I took a walk around the neighborhood and convinced myself that the other light type is used nearby. Photo below shows that drone to the left and a similar light a few blocks away from the others. Of course, this is not the same pole but it at least shows it is not too far fetched more are around that locale.
It's interesting to me anyway. There's a heck of a lot of poles around that area! grin

Below is an image showing the 4 dots.
A = where mystery truck in white was hanging out (credit to DRT/OTF for finding)
B = the early lightweight little drone that couldn't grin (Credit to Radi for finding)
C = that Lev drone(?) that later blew up really big
D = that oddball light. Because it really is questionable I thought it best to differentiate it from others.

Anyone, please add dots if you got em. My eyes are killing me. cry

Hi Katter,

Are you saying the above light poles (with and without Lev’s drone... the without at 706 SE 3rd St.) are the same pole?

They look very different to me.

Hi Marven. They are not the same pole.

I was just looking at the light types. When I searched that general area all the lights were the same style as the Al drone image. I just wanted to see if there was boundary (city, county, municipalty) where they changed. I was just surprised to find one so close.
Probably nothing more than it's possible, although long shot, another Lev image originated from that location.

Sorry for any confusion. I've about had my fill of poles! rolleyes

No problem Katter...

BTW, have you noticed how the known photo locations are close to colleges and hospitals? Just thinking out loud.

We all know Carrion has had a couple of run-ins with the Drones/Dronies and has wrote at least one Mufon (journal) article on the Drones (as well as of course Mufon investigating the Drones in the early days) and while I DON’T think the following is in any way related I do feel it’s relevant due to earlier discussions both here and at other Drone-related forums:

Quote:
Effective March 1st, 2010, I am relinquishing my position as MUFON International Director to take on a different position within the organization. The reasons for my relinquishing the position are many but the overlying issue is that I simply no longer have the time to dedicate to the job. As a member of the “sandwich generation”: a single parent of a young child who must also deal with aging parents, my time has become very limited. In addition, I still actively manage a separate for-profit company which further limits my time. Finally, I am also doing time-consuming independent UFO research that focuses on the role of Government in the UFO field - a gold mind of information yet to be adequately explored.

It may come as a surprise to you, but my transitioning out of the International Director role has been two years in the making. In 2006, I committed to a three year term as the International Director until 2009, but when no suitable candidate was found, I agreed to stay on for one more year. In 2008, the MUFON Board of Directors approved the role of a MUFON Business Manager to separate the duties of leadership from those of running MUFON’s nonprofit business operations. I gave the board notice in December 2009, but I offered to stay on until the 2010 Symposium in July so a suitable candidate could be found. Fortunately, a candidate search was not necessary as one of the existing MUFON Board members offered to become the new International Director and was unanimously voted into office. I will be occupying the role of MUFON Business Manager which will be far less demanding of my time.

I am proud to announce that the new MUFON International Director is my long term good friend and colleague, Clifford Clift. Clifford will be featured in the MUFON Journal so that the MUFON membership can become acquainted with him and his professional background. I am completely confident that Clifford is the best man for the job and I know that MUFON could not be in better hands.

It has been my pleasure to serve MUFON as the International Director these last three years and I know that going forward, MUFON will still be on the cutting edge of UFO investigation.

If you would like to congratulate Cliff or introduce yourself to him, please direct all correspondence to cclift@what-wire.com.

If you want to keep up with my independent research, stay tuned to my personal blog at followthemagicthread.blogspot.com where I will continue my fight for the truth and exposing those who have no intention of revealing the truth.

Been thinking hard about PK Dick lately...

the top left image in this link:
http://www.search.com/images?q=%22internal+astronaut%22

Doesn't appear to be associated with friends of PK Dick, but more a link to PK Dick's MySpace page:

http://www.myspace.com/pkdick

But that isn't the only Myspace page for PK Dick:

http://www.myspace.com/philip_k_dick

But what really got my attention was written in his blog:

http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=33774622&blogId=55265142

"In an unparalleled technical collaboration, a team of artists, writers, engineers, literary scholars, and freethinkers have created a lifelike . . . . . ."

PK, your legacy lives on perhaps in many forms?...

Ironically, PK Dick's widow (from his last marriage), Tessa is/was a regular poster on Whitley's Strieber's message board.

Take that for what it is. Probably nothing. Certainly a very nice lady if there ever was one.
