Yep and as such -in my opinion- it doesn’t qualify as a workable or viable theory.

This post made me wonder about comparing what Isaac said to GNU standards regarding liscensing etc with software. I don't know anything about that, but I'm betting someone out there would.

What I'm wondering is (bearing in mind "Isaac" is a software engineer...etc..).. would he have applied some of the foundations of liscensing in the GNU way in an underhand way with the release of the Isaac material?

For instance , if you write a program and release it to the world to use under a kind of "public liscense"... I'm sure if someone went in and took a mileage of your code and put it into another program and released that program commercially.... you would have some kind of claim, probably copyright amonst others against him...

So... was this also possibly employed in the same way as a GNU liscense or was it attempted..?

Oh no! What if the LAP is an equation or or piece of code?

Well if anyone is bored you can help me do a little cleanup and try to get this entry for PACL removed from thefreedictionary.com

How ? How doesn't it qualify? Suppose that was pulled as a claim against AW?

Ahh.. look what I found. http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-violation.html

Outside of the world of software this liscense must be modeled on some basic form of agreement already in place and tried by previous case law... so...
perhaps the fact that partial use for commerical purposes was made of the whole Isaac material kicks in a certain assertion to defend copyrights.. dunno..
just thinking here..

Endzone, he!? Funny pseudonym! How did you create that one? Must have taken years or so!

Freedictionary obviously is nothing worth to look at. You even have no chance, to tell them, it is just rubbish - only can confirm.

Yeah that's what I figured, there isn't even a direct contact email, only a form you can fill out to submit a new definition.

Hi Tomi,

You asked if it was ‘figured in’ and I confirmed I had looked into it and in my opinion the information Isaac released doesn’t qualify under the stipulations that are required to qualify it as such, I'm afraid I can’t make it any clearer and even added the phrase “my opinion” to avoid this discussion.

If you have any further possible AW (or any) copyright infringement issues then I suggest a new (Drone) thread be started as the (this) main thread has become massively sidetracked with this issue. Especially as I believe you and I are very possibly the only members interested in this aspect and as it has become so contentious an issue a new thread would be the ‘path of least resistance’ and also if others were interested then at least all of the relevant information would be contained in one thread.

Cheers.

I'll put a thread together the more I learn and hope you will help .. As a thread killer I'll need it smiley

Or someone else start the thread please to give any insights into the GNU liscense model possibility.. etc.. even if to quash this whole idea entirely..

You all know as Isaac documents and Tomi now has proven 100% conclusively, that there is indeed “something special” about the CARET/LAP/ALIEN LANGUAGE thingystuff, to wit:

Whenever – and apparently no matter wherever – it is quoted, mentioned, illustrated, even merely hinted at, it becomes inherently self-actuating to the point of dimensionally unlocking a pissant-contest upon demand. grin

So true but only to about 12 people on this planet it seems.
Actually that is quite statistically insignificant to be significant. Inverse infinite insignificancy. grin

Shouldn't that be 20 people as surely you can’t include Masker33 and discount the ‘group’? grin

Ah yes, you are most correct, Sir...

But in another dimension, why...that could be almost everyone there!
