Any reliable analysis of this kind must be conducted on the original photo… consequently, any “scientific evidence” gleamed in this “study” is suspect… since artifacts may be introduced by digital copying (such as jpeg artifacts) and further contamination by editing, but were assumed to be apart of the original photo. Therefore, I can not fathom their conclusion that “it is authentic in every aspect,” other than being an authentic facsimile that created detectable distortions to the picture.

Been a while since I looked at this stuff..Forgot that there are no negs...

hehe Marvin....Imagine what would happen to that ahhh cough cough craft on leaving the atmosphere... laugh

The Meier photos are \\\"hanging miniatures\\\" and the use of forced perspective. Sometimes they have some clever ways of suspending these motels in front of the camera, but they are models none the less. At one point Lev did include a CG model in a Meier photo many moons ago. The CG model was along with the standard Meier model.

Before this gets to many pages off topic, here is a link to the recent Meier thread.

After another listen to make sure I didn't miss anything, I must say that the presentation was well done at least from a PR point of view. Funny, insightful, informative...well done.

However, it is painfully obvious that the presentation was delivered with a pro 'real' bias. Details such as the false photo witness testimoney and the unlikely scenario of a drone floating over Campbell in the middle of the afternoon in a highly populated area and only being noticed by the photographer, the fact that all the reports came via internet only, no corroborating police reports, etc....that was all left out. Perhaps it was because of time restriction. Also no mention of all the CGI professional condemnations of the photos.

All in all, it sounded like a drone promo. A brief summary report including all evidence, pro and con, should have been presented before focusing on the pro stance.

Getting back to the thread..
I would agree that from a PR standpoint it was a good presentation from a "drone promo" pov..
After all look who is paying.... grin

LOL, I've never commented on the Billy Meier UFO publicly, but I feel the need to right now. Sorry if temporarily off topic....

An engine crankshaft pulley with standard belt grooves + a few sphere magnets + plus a vehicle exhaust gasket ring = a UFO hoax that fools many but not all.

Seriously, I don't see how anyone can even think that the Billy Meier UFO is real... You have to be super blind...

I wish everyone had my eyes.

B.T.W. "Allnewsweb" is a JOKE, and ATS has many topics proving it.

-edit to add-

Engine timing marks.... Those marks are to adjust the timing on an engine.... they are found on crankshaft pulleys......

Billy Meier and his crankshaft pulley hoax.... LOL

You are close... but not a crankshaft pulley. The base of the craft was identified as being a plastic drum lid:

I remember that when the pictures of Semjase were identified as a Swedish model (I think it was a swedish model), Mier said it was the 'men in black' who had switched his original pictures with the model's pictures! Sooo laughable. So the pictures he released should look different.... they didn't at all and he never noticed this difference until he was discovered to be using a pretty earth human! Without her permission...
Mier did a good job for his day, what with one arm and all, but in this day and age, these so called UFO photographs shouldn't even be still on the table as possibilities. Mier's bluff was called decades ago.

Hey neveleeleven, now that we have confirmation who is paying for the P.I.'s I'm curious if you still feel nemo and 11a are responsible for the hoax. I tried to find your post on OMF but I think nemo deleted it. tongue

Asket (left) and Nera (right), in the top photo, have been identified... they are members of the "Ding-a-lings" from Dean Martin's TV show (the photo below).

That is Correct , it was an act, just like this case..and I think he ran with the "Rat Pack" , Sammy Davis Jr..and Frankie..Shirley Mclaine, another Ding a Ling, was tight with them..l

Do you remember Fathers Knows Best?..I understand the Father was a real alcoholic and came to the set Deaf Drunk..yet made such a sterling model on TV..l..I wonder how they propped him up and kept it under lid for so long?

You reckon same principles are at work here?
