Not when you live here it doesn't.. believe me..

What a terraced mezzanine is in reality:
A row of old houses connected at the sides like townhouses in the states.. Mezzanine means the house was converted into flats and the stairs going up into the top flat twists usually into a hall... smiley Yep..

[quote author=Қℓάť link=board=drone&num=1258745506&start=1657#110 date=1320185456][color=Beige]Tomi, I found this in the UK for sale:

"...Homes for sale:
javascript:addtag("","")
flat top floor mezzanine terrace"

DomicileCyclic Complexitude rules! grin

Anyways, the term "flatmate" does seem to possess a certain vague intimation through no fault of its own. wink

I love this digression or is it divergence? this pause at a quaint verbal Cul de Sac( Fr), Culo del saco (Sp), the sacks bottom end....Klat , A breath Takining view to boot.. I don't give a Flat Tire what anyone says but that is awsome!....the stream of consciousmess (sic) form of analysis..leading to a cornucopia of possibilities, Beyond the veil..beyond the Flat, with a cameo quantum appearance by the DonkeyKOng visiting downstairs to greet us..whilst we were here all the time, upstairs in the Mezzanine., hoping we never forgot his contribution. He worked hard attempting to shatter once and for all the myth ..not of the Drone..a minor feat in the scheme of things..but the very limits of the 15 minutes of fame established by Andy Warhole we are all entitled to, and that the limit can be exceeded. A Real challenge and drama worth of any soap opera...Sadly it was not..sad
It Flat Lined.. cry

Had he stayed here a while from the beginning, Our Prodigal son may have learned a thing or two about stretching time, si, no?

Now a pause for a word from our sponsors.
Warning! Viewers are advised of violent and disturbing content and urged not to do this at home. Backyards in wooded areas like the Farm are exempted Thank you!

Somewhere, not far from the first Drone sightings...

Hee hee I like that..reminds me of Chip off the old block, and the acorn doesn't fall fall far from the tree idioms. Good one Klat . On Father and Son subject, every time I visit the Art Thread, the theme from Sandford and Son starts playing automatically..I am clueless as to why or how.. but it is quite funny. I don't know if that is just on my pc or everyone's. Makes me feel like Julio, the PuertoRican who was always paying them a visit at their junk Yard..
But yes Double it does seem to tie everything together in that room.

Now..I paid a visit to Lev's site. wherein we all got our own little assessments from the POV of Lev.
The pix he made were phenomenal..He really is flowering.blooming, before our eyes.
I realize he and the DRT and others expect us to hammer him or get into a long tirade here.. portraying moi as waiting for wisdom but getting none, wiithout it having occurred to him that I like them all.

Thats ok..if anything my humour is somewhat influenced on this occasion..by deep Black Southern idioms like .feed that one with a long spoon and kill'm with kindness..

Say is that an AW lap in the corner on the floor? grin
no? shocked...MA!! no AW!angry WAAAAA! cry

What comes into my head is (Lev has that effect on me I think.. and let's not even talk about the cat, Lev's doppelganger.. ok?!... )

Kyrie Eleison wink

Pot shots is the operative word Tommi..about 20 minutes ago..Earth narrowly missed a collision with an asteroid, capabale of taking out a good chunk of life on Earth. Thanx to Obama cancelling the shutlle a potential line of defense, while shuttling orders for toy drones worldwide, we can all sleep better .

hehehe thanks for that ( while I rummage the salvage yard Klat rifles through the old comics in the attic) smiley

@ Klat I agree..classic, the beast, the man, and the babe.. If Isaac had had a babe in the story besides Chads pregnant wife, boring . as far as story lines go..(except maybe Mary and her yarn in the Bible) Our story might have generated more interest..something epic to break the "stale mate"like Helen of Troy or something they fought 20 years or so. At least we have Tommi here to keep this going, bless her little heart, for Lord knows how long, but it takes more than than those brave efforts..and Kris's Cameo..
We need something Really Really Big, like the Trojan thingy, a surprise. during the night ( not the one from a gas station dispenser)..something you can climb into like that Greek wooden pony on wheels.....something turning on a dime , a pivot that turns the tide of war..

What would Linda do in such a crisis?..why...she would close the proverbial pie hole, shut up..clam up..like an oyster, so that won't work.

The Library thing with Teddy failed because ..amazingly..she discovered too late people really read and use the library..

But yes Klat I do love the classics.
But ya know? .I just want to pause, an take re-spite for a second .......................................................................................... and say if anyone else wants to look at the classics ..then don't hesitate to do it on anything less
than an Alienware laptop!
prices have tumbled now since competitors have come out with some very intriguing graphics of their own, but for the true aficionados, and you kow who you are, .no substitute is acceptable, and no cover story is complete without one

If it wasn't for them and Dell, who
the Hell knows how the Great War
might have turned out

FEEL THE POWER!

Now..Funny advantage taken of what was actually said..we trust our news to do the truth part..amazing the rework that went into the wars propaganda in the middle east and sold to us..
as most here don't speak Arabic anymore than we speak German..but it would make this look like a documentary..

Maybe all those Darpa Dell /Alienware servers behind the drone campaigns worlwide and with all our kids weened on joysticks and wargames..why , we have a match where there will be less casualties. and kill more efficiently..yes efficiency.. while munching on chips and Dr. Pepper at the monitor.Sounds good to me rolleyes

@Katter ..whew!...you certainly know how to push the envelope. That is just what I needed for downstairs in our Art Pavilion..and it even looks like the Envelope Elvis and Linda kept getting back from Isaac and Ty, maybe even the same typewriter was used, possibly an Olivetti Royal ..or Underwood..hard to tell without my glasses, I'd say a Royal.. Note the peculiar H., a problem endemic to them back in the days, but nothing that a lil whiteout or tape couldn't take care of..nice touch! grin

@ Tommi, lol you just triggered a deja vu..

You wouldn't mind them taking a nibble now would you? grin
But you are very much spot on when artists cannibalize and don't tell anyone where they got their snack.

Yes, and it is somehow sad, that the original artist does not get the credit - though it's his/their own decision.

I just stumbled over an article about Shepard Fairy's works, the artist, Elijah Tome adores. Pure plagiarism, as it seems, just steeling other's works without any credit, like Elijah uses the alien writing without any explanation.

I had to laugh from the very first moment, I saw the drone pictures and I still find them funny. But they were unique. Even if they looked like ceiling fans and chandeliers - there was never any "UFO-picture" like that before.

Hope, I am not too serious for the humour thread now.

Here is the article about Fairy:
http://www.art-for-a-change.com/Obey/index.htm#m

Yeah, that's what I did! And I don't even get a thank you note, even an anonymous one.

Come to think of it, it would have to be anonymous. How else would I know the sender was legit.

Loved it Sidd and Katt
...Its good to go back and reflect to garner wisdom, and realize we all reaching out
