That picture is too telling to edit..:

Hmm this doesn't look good .I better skip the mezzanine steps and use a rope ladder to get downstairs and secure our paintings. Remember what happened during the cultural revolution in China when those drones cut loose. LoL..a thousand years of artifacts went down the tubes and people sent to "re educttion" camps. And our artifacts are much too valuable gentlemen..as to have them rolled rolled up into a giant blunt and passed around while they sing Dylans " How many drones must a man have to see, before they call him a man..the answer my friends is blowing in the wind"
The strictest precautionary measures should be put in effect immediately.. cool wink

Too many directors spoils the Cambronne.. IMO cool

To be immanentised by Lev is such an honor, everyone is so fortunate, I dare not consider any actions on my part worthy of such distinction.

What did I do to become a director? Nobody ever listens to me anyway.. Why me? tongue

Mierde ..Ridiculous I never said that Tommi He did. They all have it wrong about me and you
http://www.napoleon-series.org/research/miscellaneous/c_cambronne.html
The French have it that when the last square of the Old Guard, surrounded at Waterloo, were invited to surrender rather than be annihilated, their commander, General Count Etienne Cambronne shouted back, "La Garde meurt, elle ne se rend pas!" - the heroic, "The Guard dies, it does not surrender!". Of course, the rest of the world thinks he replied, "Merde!" - the much more earthy French expression, "Sh-t!"

What did Cambronne really say?

An old gentleman in Plancenoit thought he knew the answer. He named his house "le mot de Cambronne" - The word of Cambronne - singular.

However, the following correspondence, provided by John White, Honorary Secretary of the Association of Friends shows that Cambronne actually said nothing - he had already been captured!

"La Garde muert, elle ne se rend pas."

"Cambronne se rend, il ne muert pas."

(The Guard dies, it does not surrender. Cambronne surrenders, he does not die).

Yours faithfully,

Stuart Bradshaw

Nah, it's just the name DIRECTOR. The hologram screen may be causing some distortion resulting in something not really there thinking it is. grin

Here's something serious to keep all the anonymous entertained as we approach turkey day. Reminds me of the Crazy 88's. Maybe we need to program an Isaac Turkey Day Award Show. cool

grin no comment

Heh, Holographic effect. That corpse left some pretty permanent stains. Is this better seen with 3d glasses? My Dell has that capability!!. Don't say that too loud or you'll have Vonstern in here You've come a long way from that bamboo tablet my friend. And that musical video was awesome, I can almost trace the influences not of Hollywood on Bollywood, but the latter on Grease, Xanadu, and pulp fiction years later. Kudos to the director of that..he was way ahead of his time.
Were the dancers malaysian or Phillipino or an entire Indian cast. They look just like my people, Puerto Ricans!
Did you know Salsa was the rage in Japan the last few years....I must find that
youtube, where they wore all the apparel from zoot suits to brims, and boy could they dance too. Fascinating.
I found one of several sans zoot suits..

Music and Art , bridges indeed..

Those kewl Ray ban glasses seem to be everywhere smiley hehe. But if the sun shines on you 24 hours a day..why not.? cool

Raj could have done a better job of building a bridge to India, but he took a long jump off the proverbial short bridge before completion. The LAP did depict imagery, which, (cough, cough), only I, the envy of the ever present and skiddish watchers, could see too, of the very duality you portrayed in that moving art piece in our thread..and it is OUR thread...one might say the duality of our humor here and the darker at the Leviathan thread.
The elfish characters almost snow whitish in theme, then from another angle, Death at the same time, all sides of the same coin. This was definitely a more enjoyable journey with Lev, and Ted than without them --albeit-- they might have a different take on the matter.

I hope we can do something on Isaac for the Eat the Dead Roasted Bird Day. cool Nothing hateful I hope.. cool

He's great with the expressions he gives each of them. Who would have thunk that Lev could tweak out such subtleties in each of his characters.. Impressive !
(seriously.. I love the expressions smiley

Have to hand it to him.. that banner insert is pretty damn good, dont ya think? I do anyway.
In its own way of course......

Kat I think it's an amazing image insert you have used, who was the artist? any history on that?

Note to Lev: I'm not playing games. I'm not feigning admiration for your work, and I'm very interested in the center art that kat posted.

For crying out loud.. I spent a huge amount of time looking at that banner and trying to imagine how your imagination began to create it ... Where did you first begin to put the color in and where and why...
I guess one reason your art interests me is because you are so fricking mysterious..
and the irony is you accuse me of playing games.. sigh.
(granted.. I do enjoy winding you up now and then but that's what I'm talented at)
Your move wink

edit to add: Yeah its back for a while Cheers !
