But don't fret Katter was spotted in this Timely 1941 foto wearing shades..The REAL DEAL, so we know he is ok.

It's bad enough Katt blew off getting a haircut before going to '41, but if the boss finds out he's got his iPhone in that Brownie, he's in deep doo doo.

This is beyond comprehension. Festus your name appeared was spotted as on active duty on this ship according to pix obtained by some of our collaborator pouring thru the records of Japanese naval intelligence archives.
You were in fact, aboard this destroyer escort,

The USS Eldridge. Is that how you got back so quick? You knew and made it there and were catapulted back. Whew! Thats a billion to one shot you made it here. Amazing
Somebody up there likes you for sure. grin I bet no prob getting on board either in civies or not.
Now Im in mood for a Philly steak sandwhich.

Klat, That was a nice read bro. its only because you all displayed 3 dimensional characteristics, that made our task easier, the scripted can never deviate from theirs, like characters bound to the whim of their creator writer smiley. But tell me about that show..very intriguing.

That's actually where I first met the Admiral, in fact. He was a petty officer then (yesterday) but he seemed to be on top of things even then. I always wondered why he seemed to know all about me...

While i have my presence of mind yet, and am not shifted again, I can tell you this..
The Admiral, who as Capt, commanded one of the greatets floating platforms on Earth. the Nimitz. There is good reason why he seemed to know a lot more than he let on...His actions here speak for themselves.

That man had Cojones!
Perhaps this chronological rollocoaster ride is not as bad as it seems, and can have a positive outcome.
Klat you just may get your wish, on a carnival cruize liner near bermuda maybe , if we aren't jerked around otherwise by more time bombs and trip wires hidden inside sneaky servers. grin

Interesting article I read next week back in 1986. Many of the discoveries of the future were not known in the present until an earlier time.

It's too late marvin..I realize your sensors automatically detect the word party anywhere in the universe, and it picked up klats mention of one, but our plans for a reunion have been dampened.
It was was changed from Jones beach, where those classic bands like dave lowery's cracker band and others were playing, because neither Elo 1 and 2 appeared anywhere on the schedule , in favor of the Deer Creek bar and grill. where the the ribs melt and sing in your mouth.
one let down after another. We just wanted to make everyone happy. Right at ground zero! The DCBG had been sold twice, and is closed now. the heli pad still there, and great view.
No rib, no lamb, No Iranian schnitzel, no burley bartender and no woo hoo! That alone would have made the long trip worth it. It looks almost haunted. With this time mess..we could have all partied like it was 1999 for real.

Hallowed ground deserving of preservation I say. sad

One can almost see the ghosts of past patrons, beers in hand, at those tables on that valley view deck. If only they could speak.

Man, I don't know what's worse, having CBGB's replaced with a silly boutique where trustafarians pay ludicrous prices for tight jeans and other obnoxious clothes made by serfs for twelve cents a day, or to see the DCBG sitting vacant and forlorn like that. There must be some kind of strong force field keeping it from becoming a biker bar, if nothing else.

LoL I think I caught a reference to that earlier, by a poster slaydragon, where bikers had their annual meets there. Say is this the same ted that costs 6k a year membership . wow.
a speaker last year, had some excellent points on what google and facebook have done. i have certainly noticed my research come to a molasses crawl from what it was in 2004, 2007 till now. i get tons of crap i dont need, having to switch to altavista and other browsers. Alo my shield alerts go off several times with each page change on same thread. If this doesnt stiflle the creative growth process as to posters will get get 2 entirely different sets of links, I don't know what does.
it really voids.
Death by Algorithm.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nassim_Taleb,
iIread it 3 weeks from now, and it was very good. grin

Yeah, now that's more like it. Too bad we don't have a picture of Raj or Chad to put in there. But then maybe some of us have seen a photo of those two on that deck in our temporal wanderings. Maybe it was in the future somewhere.

Anyways, I had mistakenly thought this bit was filmed there, but upon a close look I see it's not the same place.
