There was a Bob who brought us the Drones and a zombie army of believers, , BicycleBob who brought you the Cons against, Bob Lazar who brought us inside Area51 , UpBob at UCB waited forever..
But no Bob at AW, at Bethesda, EA, , anywhere in fact.. has ever wreaked the sheer pandemonium shaking the gaming industry.. to its very foundations..that this Bob has.The man from Sierra Games..
I'll say it only once, lest this threads walls collapse from the sheer blinding awsomeness.. Bob Holmes

You've tried the rest Now try the best.

In keeping with correct Binary Opposition Protocol (BOP), I nominate Roberta. The truth must reside in the liminal space between the two.

From Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roberta_Williams

Roberta Williams (born February 16, 1953) is an American video game designer, writer and a co-founder of Sierra On-Line (later known as Sierra Entertainment). She is most famous for her pioneering work in graphic adventure games such as Mystery House, the King's Quest series, and Phantasmagoria. She is married to Ken Williams and retired from her career in 1999.

Roberta Williams, together with Ken Williams, is considered one of the most influential video game designers. Ars Technica stated that Roberta Williams was "one of the more iconic figures in adventure gaming".[1] GameSpot once named her as the number ten in their list of "the most influential people in computer gaming of all time" for "pushing the envelope of graphic adventures" and being "especially proactive in creating games from a woman's point of view, and titles that appealed to the mainstream market, all the while integrating the latest technologies in graphics and sound wherever possible."[2] In 2009, IGN placed the Williams at 23rd position on the list of top game creators of all time, expressing hope that "maybe one day, we'll see the Williams again as well."[3]

Thank you Katter, Arc Mage..I played that and all the Earlier ones Kings Quest series on a Tandy computer (Radio Shack) I thought this was before your time..hmm nevertheless..I know you appreciate the Sins of the Father ..it feels so appropriate here for some reason.
.Now, The Graphics had its day, and its the music that is the vessel keeping the images flowing in our minds. Think what all those boring blurrs navigating our skies would be like without a music score accompanying them.
After all this is about Bobs. Though Robertas, or Bobbi in accepting your nomination on the floor,
achievements are stellar in by themselves, the musical scores are what impacted the audience enough to this very day even to honor Bobs work.

Responding himself a rare treat

I just want to say what a great job you guys did with this! I have always wished I could hear it performed live. Well done indeed. I am honored. Thank you so much.

Therfore with both nominations magnaminously accepted, and closed for further nominations, I will invoke Roberts Rules of Order to adress this quandry....that in a tie..
The Chairmans vote..and I am the Chairman and chief Schattenjäger of the ARC will break the Tie and cast the deciding vote. is it Bob or Bobbi?
(pause for some really deep thought whilst propping up my chin with hand.hmmmmmm.its going to be a close one..
Gesturing with my other hand...Drum Roll Please

By virtue of a majority of one

Bob wins
Be it so noted.
grin

Special thanks to all those other Bobs tuning in whose works make our lives such an interesting and hopefully neverending process.

PS. I may do something for all the Toms out there too one day. cool

Thank you Marvin for the recent update. I know you were trying to give me a hint..I've been so overworked downstairs on the Al-Hilli Charade and a myriad other things that I missed the real news.

It's obvious we have been up against the best of the best from the very beginning.
I suspected if we had adouble agent working inside the ARC all the time. That is one Caret Top I would have loved to apprehend myself.
Shes adept wearing multiple disguises.

Klat..Jurisdictional protocol has been violated here..this is our case and not some rookie twits from Langley bucking for a promotion just before an election. 5.5 years of tedious work are not going to go down the drain if I can help it. They have no idea what they have on their hands . The woman is a veritable live weapons platform herself. Someone tipped them first. Barts Island..good choice. I suggest we have them assign gay security, which thanks to affirnative action..there is no lack of in the company or the Bureau. That will slow her down a tad..in fact she won't stop talking once we get there and she senses the testosterone.. Time it with Arcadian rythms..works like a charm..I know a few people still owe you some favors Klat ..Perhaps we can call some markers in before the operation turns to total crap.

You said a mouthful with that one Klat, I remember that incident as if it were yesterday.. Unfortunately he mistook a coded message "all hands on deck" literally .. Shagged himself into oblivion when he was caught with the famous Pincer move around the neck....by a noob agent no less!..the man had absolutely no standards..The Mi 6 never recovered. Can't say we didn't warn them. Worse than sending that Bret chap on a friendship bicycle tour of France.

I take any report from the UK with a grain of salt. Consider everyone compromised. Remember what happened in Battle of the Bulge. That won't happen here on our watch, no leaky wicks .. Fortunately..We have our own Austin" the mad Popper" for these occasions. I may team him up with you on this one..You'll both have your hands full ..and truthfully that's an understatement.

I have to stay here and prevent any further mischief of course.
wink

Edit to add: The only way we can stay on top of this Klat as we have everything else is Communications!
Don't leave me hanging and Please keep me abreast on this at all times thru the usual channels..Your safety is always of paramount importance..carry the appropriate protection goes without saying. grin
Good Luck!

Dammit! I was layin' low on St. Kitts and missed all the fun. cry If the Admiral were still around, I'd have at least known about it. Getting to St. Bart's from here is not exactly easy or cheap, but I'd have borrowed some sort of craft and gotten in on that mission, for sure.

I don't know who I ticked off or how, but I've been stuck here with that insufferable Yates. Did you know he invented the hologram? It's true! Just ask him. Also the entire GPS system, the cordless phone and sugarless gum. All that while averting WWIII so many times we'd be in the double digits without the savant. He makes Corso look like Hoagland or something! Maybe if you fellows could put in a good word for me, I could score a Dronie convention or one of those topless Raelian events just to get me out of here for a while. Thanks.

All is forgiven!
grin grin grin grin
You can pick whatever assignment suits ..
We have a Wannabe group of Hoaxters on the Al-Hilli MurderCase,
complete with Exotic Satellite Tech & Nuke Tech.. _Disingenuous Brits..Swedes and Dubayans.and French Detectives....with the Brit playing a sort of Isaac, a wandering Iraqi physicst ..and your favorite sport..: Brace your self Bicycling!
This one is not one for the faint of heart..but we can get years of Humour laughs and giggles from this one..
For sure I would love if the DRT eleven and others joined in as one group that way we have the French aspect to give stellar if not excellent scrutiny and help in translations as well as analysis..there are nuances in the communications they can pick up quickly..That would give certain people cause for concern..but think of the excitement as we unravel one layer after another on that onion!
Was it Murder..was itan extraction..wherearethe boddies, how could they do a public plea for help..with no pictures and police have the pictures? This is a dream for curious dronies , like a drunk set loose in a liquor store..!
Let me know!

Willikers! Jeez O'Pete even! Looks like I'd better brush up on my spreadsheet skills. I'll start working on some travel plans. I'd take the company plane over to St. Martin's, but it's under the control of none other than Ivanna the Awesome, who has made it clear that I'll never be forgiven for that unfortunate incident with the helium balloons. That was back in '03 and if she had been wearing underwear it would have been no big deal anyway. Yes, it's high time I got my keister out of this tropical paradise. That penguin is just about due to show up again anyway.

Yeppers there is even a witness involved who's a TVproducer and writer..a neighbor of the alleged "victim" ..Saltzman or something who wrote a lot of spook books...A scotlandyard blog with a server in Hollywood..no less This thing is waiting to be carved up..I swear!
A spreadsheet is critical..I agree..I'mnot very organized and that is putting it mildly! Even tTommi can help as she is less than 20 mins away on the Thames from 55 Princes gate in london used to headquarter there the Iranian Embassy staff, as wellas a ton of dummy offices..used as cover..
Talk about prepositioning our assets they are right in place!
I miss the penguin..he has been very useful..hope he is not shedding or anything..he likes to be scratched right at top of crown you know.. just like a cat or a puppy..

Ivanna the Awsome..that Goldigger!!..You are good! I was wondering where you got that Gold Research Armchair you gave me a few Christmases ago. Word Has it she was not happy. You left her heartbroken. That encrypted file you passed her really was a recipe to Cajun shrimp gumbo.. They went thru the equivalent of 2 cray-vax servers before they realized what you gave them.. lucky you..The last two agents tried that became suddenly ill after she gave them a polonium cocktail . Nasty way to go. One of their vehicles she used in the video. That was clear confirmation things did not go well.

Heh, better lucky than good any day! Yes, anything Cajun seems to throw them off. Had to stop using that though, since they picked up on the pattern.

I should be back in the States by the end of the month. There is a boat waiting for some mysterious passenger or freight or something. My Portuguese is bad. It's a rough looking outfit, so I didn't even ask about wifi. Anything important or, er, difficult to replace I shall ship by secure courier to the home office, attention Captain Sysco. Wish me luck. I'll likely need it!
