The first part of my comment was a quote from Ted of DRT nothing more. The last part was my humor of returning or invoking the old Lev to fight the DRT or tell them the truth.

CG is now so advanced and composites so capable that reality is permanently erased in any new UFO Photo. None can be trusted.

I have never seen a UFO, but my Mom and Grandmother seem to have seen one in 1966 and my Mom even earlier.

Remember sticks and stones......

Also I have already been kicked off this site and must come here by other means that preclude my use of some functions here such as the normal quote method.

Maybe its time to show the old Lev, just for fun, on my blog!

You mean a picture of yourself? Just kidding. smiley
You're not doing any of the artwork for UCB are you?

I guess my previous question got lost but could you reveal how long it takes to create the works you've done i.e., total hours? Not the thinking process prior to rendering it on PC or Mac but the time to draw it up and finalize?

Thanks.

Edit: I see you went and did it! You should be working on Diablo 3 with Blizzard. grin

The Devil is in the details!

The model is a product of evolution in most of my doings and can take sometime indeed. Hours to days. This is how you grow though. I use Cinema 4D and some others to render, but Cinema 4D is my favorite.

CG has now defeated reality as far as pictures or movies and you just can not trust this as evidence any more. Some of the UFO pics from the 1950s are convincing though.

No, I do no work for UCB

Thank you.
I was curious on the amount of time because I know even with the silly stuff I do it can often take hours. You get these spurts of inspiration/adrenaline and it consumes you at times. Yet, if I have no real interest it just lingers on and on.
Another question if you do not mind. Do you use mouse or tablet? I use mouse presently but used to use a Wacom tablet. The Wacom Bamboo looks interesting because I want to try and do more original artwork that unfortunately I should have started decades ago but earning a living had to come first. cry

I started with a mouse, so it became second nature to me. I continue to use one.

[ta-da]"Great Jumping Jehosaphat!"
"Great Jumping Jehosaphat!"
"Great Jumping Jehosaphat!"

It's almost 4 AM PST and I just now read this over at "that other place" and I don't know if I should post it here or on the drone humor thread so I'll do both:

"Isaac is a hero for revealing parts one of the greatest mysteries of the century."

I said it before and I'll say it again:
"Great Jumping Jehosaphat!"

LoL Klat ..but I said he is a heroe..or Rather Lev should be the heroe..or anti heroe..or as I posted somewhere..the accidental hero ..as Lev said it from the gitgo..CGI can fake anything..and we should be hearing something soon anyway..the two year non competiting clause usually found standard in most shoud have or are about to expire this month if..not , recently..and at the same time..less from others wink

But that DRT thing is as funny as a quote I read from the great and getting greater..Warren Ellis. SCfi/comic books/Film who wrote with the greatest beautiful eloquence and simplicity...on Isaac Hayes death.. the Black Moses of Music..
Isaac Hayes: Xenu Awaits.

I can't believe the Down to Earth Brother from another Planet..fell like Will Smith has for the scientology stuff..Ironically..I hope his dying at a Baptist Memorial Hospital will not effect his meeting Xenu..

cry

I agree with Lev..as all the action in Ufology is based on blurrs and blobs and people arguing and charging fees for arguing what the Blurrs, blobs, hyped..blurbs and glaring bloopers ..which really don't tell us anything, we should return to comic books...and graphic novels..where anything is possible..quite clear..you get your moneys worth..and if you hang on to them appreciate better than mutual funds..

By the way on a non topic item.and high strangeness...the lady who did that Geneology on the tombstones is also looking for a Mcleod Families..which..talk about a million to one shot .one of em works across my desk..no lie.., Probably oldest worker in the county here, with me , moi, and her husband Laurie is from GA. about 75-80 years old...I will be fowarding the email and phone so they can talk..to each other..! Kiss my grits..I luvs family reunions.. grin

If there is a shortage of work your ways..may i suggest you contact another Bob..as his work..though fair to middlin can hardly touch yours with a broomstick....

Therefore I smell me a profit lad.....
and in fact thank Gort who asked to see what i could do...we were hoping there least we can do since the industry has given you short shrift..
yet you stand nobly..teetering near near collapse even.....protecting their sorry pale rider asses.
Your obligations ended so has theirs..

AS I said at your blog.. Unzip the star gate and let it all hang out let it ALL hang out !
Give us the whole monte!
grin

Last of the Harry series (for now grin )
Can we and Harry escape from the dreaded Drone Mind Meld Tank? No sub harmonic oscillations, sampling frequency tweaks, non-converging fractals or boarding of mother ships by factors of 12 either physically or subconsciously is needed.
Just good old common sense, elbow grease and a concealed thin piece of wire unlocks the bound.
Credit for the drone piece is due HPO at DRT. I shamelessly grabbed the 3D PDF he posted. embarassed

That's odd! Obviously that pic is older than my pc, but still I am not able to open that PDF-file due to lack of memory.

I must have forgotten something... undecided
