Can Drone Roller Derby be next? undecided
No buzz here as of late except the extraction of drones from poles.

Edited to respect the anonymity of the wrestlers.

Hi Tomi, one should never wager on professional wrestling matches. It is clearly promoted as sports "entertainment" at least here in the states. grin

Hahaha Another great one !! LoL ..I only click on this this thread now when I see your name Katt, and I must say I am never ever disappointed. Remember the old comic books they had join the Rosicrucians advertisements and would never be complete without the how to turn from the "ninety pound weakling" into a "muscle bound" stud ad and play the guitar like Chet Akins , and the make money easy selling cards (haha to your family usually)?
Boy this is great!
Thanx for the memories!

I may do one with "Drone Wonder Bread", like Wonder Bread of Halcyon Days makes your body grow "seven"ways".

You know..I never followed them up on how that Seven ways"sliced encriched bread worked, It always tasted like all bleached bread and contrary to their advertised claims..
I'm , by most western standards, still short! I wanna refund!!
( I adjusted for the peanut peanut butter and jelly, so no excessive claim here, after all,I'm a fair minded consumer)
grin

PS..
As proof there is a "Gawd" upstairs..

Have you read what happened to the Halcyon people and their rights to Terminator ..Lol sweeeeett! they had used it as collateral with a loan shark hedge fund and lost it. Now Sony is jumping for a piece of the action.
http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2010/02/09/terminator-franchise-sold-sony-and-lionsgate-loses-out-to-a-hedge-fund/

And poor Quanta and super owner Fox Conn, who manufactured those Alienware laps in China, 6 or 7,,..(scratch that count now 14 )over-worked , underpaid ..180 dollars a month employees,..young girls away from home, (they import and house them on the premises, lonnnnnng hours)
Committed suicide by jumping off the factory roofs..Their work force is up in arms..
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/china-business/7929938/Foxconn-faces-fresh-suicide-fears-as-14th-worker-dies.html
Lets not forget the other all too real misfortunes that transpired ...
I don't want to appear shamelessly callous nor alarmist, but ..is there, dare I say it, a pattern here?
Could there be a Curse of the Drone !? in all that strange writing? shocked

Hi Sys! You've given me a bunch of new ideas/themes. grin

I loved those old advertisements in magazines and comics. What kid did not want Sea Monkeys or a Venus Fly Trap! I once got one of those traps and it died after I fed it a piece of hamburger. Ordered the Charles Atlas special exerciser to beat up the bullies kicking sand in my face and all I got was a giant rubber band.
Oh the good ole days with the honest crooks that at least had some honor. cry

The curse of the drones - I like that. Could be worse than the curse of King Tut's (or whoevers) tomb. Serves them all right. grin

It's probably my fault. I've cursed the drones many times, and it's not well known but I am part Gypsy.

Sorry. embarassed

LoL Double! Welcome, welcome, welcome...We just discussed--albeit-- incompletely the intriguing photo Marvin was pointing out..and yourself some time ago..
Like a dangling participle .I am certain this needs further followup , at least to me..,,I hope if Marvin is reading more lighting ,smiley can be shed on that . His insight and explanations based on his perspectives have been very keen and spot on.like a hammer and a wooden stake, thru the heart, usually..

@ Katt..yes those Venus Flytraps ..I remember those!!
With proper genetic modification they can easily can make a natural defense against the drones..its a fact that out of the hundreds of drone reports, and even gazillions of ufo blurs reported ..not a single one has been seen near a Venus Flytrap anywhere!
User Image
Katt..you may have inadvertently hit on something right there..

It begs the question then....Do UFOs fear Venus Flytraps?, After all, they mimic dragonflies and waterbugs..

We know then it has to be , something simple ...Much like the elephant , even a woman, fears the tiny mouse ?
Since the drones (according to Douglas and the DRT and their in-house guest/consultant Lev) have been here thousands of years..this is another Darwinian relationship..Yes..Yes..I'd bet my life on it!! It may very well be the case and we can thank Mother Earth, Gaia, ( I really have a problem spelling that) ,Divine providence, and intelligent design, for this new development ...I would thank the stars too ..but they never answer., just stay hanging there..looking down..

The Venus not in blue jeans fine hairs are triggered by actual physical proximity..the drone cloaking device would be virtually useless..We can place these around our military bases, parks, beaches, and just as importantly mountainous bicycle paths where scores of bicyclists with cameras have been abducted..We can also genetically modify them to glow so our own craft can avoid them easily..

The public at large can certainly rest at ease.
Its certainly, imo, a more rational and inexpensive approach than spending trillions to see if one of Mars moons is artificial.as proposed by Hoagland .its about time we took the bull by the horns and exercise some critical thinking, and put our priorities in order.

Katt..Your mind is a blessing in disguise!
Keep it coming!

Wow, Sys, thanks for another bowl of rich gumbo! All sorts of interesting ideas in there, but one just grabbed me and I can't believe it never occurred to any of us before. It seems so obvious. Duh. I knew there had to be a reason that photo--and Marvin's analysis in particular--scared the crap out of the DRT. I have had a lot of fun, actually, posting that animation just to watch the DRT scuttle off and hide. Now I know I have been taking advantage of them and I almost feel sorry for them.

So what exactly is this startling revelation you have triggered in my poor old head, Sys? Well, whether he realized it or not, Marvin's animation essentially shows a Drone in the process of Cloaking! No wonder it causes alarm and even panic when shown to the DRT. There is historical precedent for this sort of thing, and I'm sure it even has a name. Reminds me of the Allied P-40s in the Pacific during WWII with their famous shark mouth painted on the nose of the planes. That was said to have inadvertently triggered some deep associations in the minds of Japanese pilots because of some cultural meme the Allies were apparently unaware of. It was the sort of effect a Western person might experience at the sight of a terrifying machine painted up to look like the Grim Reaper or something.

Wow! It's just so farking obvious! I don't recall anyone making the connection, and I don't have the iron constitution of DrDil or anyone like that so I'm not going to look through those thousands of posts.

Thanks again, Marvin. Thanks Kat. Thanks 1111. Excellent work, people.

These little beams seem to get no respect. Let's give them some attention. One never knows, they could be the most important pieces. shocked

Does this mean I could drink red wine up in the mountains and not get a headache? Kewal!

I've tried Jim Beams but there are some strange side effects. Like seeing things that aren't (I hope) there. I'll have to try Isaac Beams.

grin

I believe Isaac was hitting the proverbial "sauce" himself during this saga
and accounts for the stumbling, and fumbling thruout the show.

Here is a master of great execution Orson Welles.. Isaac ..Take notes.

The lines are short clear and evocative..doeesnt miss a bit. Product sold!

Here below is the same master after sampling a large amount of the product
he is attempting to sell

Like the wine..the message was clear and two fold....Isaac shouldn't have attempted to sell before it was time, and Don't drink and lie

grin
