I think you are in the wrong thread - this is the humor thread. BTW, you have too many overlapping disasters. They need to make up their minds.

Sorry about posting such a glum song in the humor thread, but it seemed to fit, could be wikileaks, could be Halloween.. (hard to tell) but...

I miss Lev (before the acronyms took over his mind).

And Virgil and Elijah. Hope they are ok. Would like to hear from them.

Klat, I believe you are right. ETHOS is the future and the fate of humanity as punishment for being - well human. rolleyes

The ancient Greeks are at fault here - I'm sure.

I hope Lev gets out for some air. Maybe sees a good movie. I'm getting pretty worried about him.

Ah, Halloween approaches. I have baked brownies in the shape of the anti-grav and I-Beams for all the Trick or Treaters. I'll be dressing as Isaac as well to give that extra jolt of fright. grin

I must say, Mrs. Pumpkin, if I were a few decades younger I'd be asking you out for a date of fried pickles and hard cider. I'd have you home by 8 - promise. kiss

ps - Greek is my 9th language, a close 2nd to Latin. May Ethos of Oltissississississs bless all mankind! grin grin

Double ps - If anyone wants the cell phone number of the Charlie Chaplin Circus lady leave a post here. She's a very nice lady who does not want all the attention she is now getting because she was caught on film chatting on a phone while time travelling. She says she should have been more careful but did not know the camera was on. rolleyes

Why thank you, Katt. That's mighty nice of you. I do hope, though, she is on my network because if she usually hangs out in the 20s, as it appears, the roaming charges will be awful.

@Mr.Kettlefelt
You are a real rogue and a scholar. Know how to bring many a giggle to a ladies old mug. My dear papa, would have been proud to have you come courting. You would of course be expected to pay for my chaperones who would be watching both those magical hands for any tricks you sly old fox . It would not be cheap, certainly not a problem for you, I am sure. A candle lit dinner with fresh fried green tomatoes would have been fine though. Please do take care I am a Mrs smiley. That would not stop a Don Juan though.

The ancient Greeks are at fault here - I'm sure. IP

I understand the Greeks blame the Persians as the source of certain controversial behaviour and practice.
Is that true?
That's why my papa' had me wear a chastity belt at those times. Being a magician, those would not pose a problem for you I am sure. Keep the excellent work up.

@Doublenaught I have always loved a man in uniform. I can tell you are the real thing based on your prior posts. Certainly not like those COS people running around everywhere fighting ghosts thetans infesting our sphere, reptilians, and their own ex-members whilst in their yachts.
(Don't let the monkeys here get their paws on that beautiful handle bar Mustache . Its quite appealing smiley
I have no doubt you will give them the old heave-ho! if they try.
@ Klattunectar , funny link by the way the brownies are delicious I never knew how many loved baking. I wonder what else is in the oven?
If these predicted downturns continue to come I know many marketers who have it as an avocation will survive.
I'm quite good at pineapple upside down cake myself. My Grandchildren exclaim how freaked out they are when I make one., it looks like a ufo grandmama;shocked! My goodness. I suddenly have a craving!
@Tomiuk outstanding link, I wish all my American cousins a great time at elections this coming Tuesday. Vote or you will miss the boat I say.

Off to baking now

G'day smiley

PSAs I finish helping a friend make some my secret Monkey Plum Thrashed Banana pudding : I hope it rivals the taste CARAT got not to long ago when they strong armed an innocent Facebook member. They certainly took a double helping of that one it seems.
Carat and Facebook surrender to Tech Crunch and Tribble
January 23, 2010
Evidently Harmanís name is back to itís rightful owner! Thatís right people, on the earlier reported today story about ad agency Carat stealing Harmanís facebook id, it appears that Carat relented under media pressure and the facebook.com/harman domain now goes to itís proper owner, Harman Bajwa.

That doesnít excuse the fact that ad agency Carat went to great lengths to steal his Facebook id after not settling for a free diet coke (WTF?)

This is a prime example on why you have to be careful when selecting an advertising agency, many of these ad agencies donít understand the mechanics of social media and do more damage to a client than help.

In this case Carat ruined the name of Harman international to the point where Google News, Twitter and many other media outlets were calling them a big bully. That wasnít helpful Carat.. not at all.

Harman International, I would strongly urge you guys on the next review to look at someone else.

I'm sure they will. cool

You are learning the alphabet? And I see by your name you have set a lofty goal of 23 letters. That is marvelous. You are still a few short, but they are mostly consonants, which should not pose that much of a hurdle. The Japanese had problems with W or R , but do quite well now, I understand. The results are impressive. Do keep trying, practice makes perfect! grin

PS.Would you like an extra slice of Carat cake or my Plum pudding? cool

Why thank you, Madam. Moustache maintenance has gotten pretty expensive, so I have taken some of it on myself. Symmetry isn't what it used to be, but now I can afford more and better booze. You'll have to come over some time for a mint julep, or a margarita if you are feeling frisky. Monkeys? They have not been a problem since I borrowed that mountain lion from my cousin. Dang thing sure does eat a lot, though.
