HAL, Lone...

You both are keeping the dream alive, the dream that one day all of Casebook can rise from the ashes of this crashed drone, and once again, in brotherhood (and sisterhood) hold hands and sing in a harmonious voice the joys of knowledge of what is truly out there...

no more evil. bury the hatchet. there's enough bad out there, we need more good

.. sing in a harmonious voice the joys of knowledge of what is truly out there...

..Of course, we could just ask those who truly know..

We need an anthem.

Maybe something by Pink Floyd.

Any offers ?

Yes that poll...They didn't name his tent the Pleasure Dome for nothing. The sign in sheets I believe indicate Purr was the last one in there to check on it. I guess it can dub as a rather big scratching poll..So we know it wasn't you. smiley

Thanks EQ.. I've only been here for a few days & already I'm being accused of stealing! What with my SAS, NSA, CIA, B&Q & MOCOM training (MOCOM you would not have heard of, top secret) if I wanted to steal a poll there's no way anyone would know it was me! In out, job done>> & the tent would still be standing cool

dej...

I'm more than happy to make sure your character is in no way besmirched. The Tent standing by itself as if held up by an invisible force has been replicated scientifically and documented in the field..something we pride ourselves on..this remarkable feat was accomplished ..by a simple starching of the sheets which would permit a quick entry and exit, even by our resident poll cat. grin

DrWu,

Nice choice. I have a lot of Pink Floyd tracks, but it is a while since I heard that one.

Another one of theirs could be 'Set the controls for the heart of the Sun'.

But to celebrate the (possible) new believers forum how about ..

'No doubt about it'. by Hot Chocolate.

As for 'does anyone still believe in the drones'.

Pretty hard to tell.

Purr, what do you think ?

This is flattering to Isaac I am sure..but I am afraid should really be Dr Dils Call who built the structure we are standing on today, and the Members of The Arc Collectively who have been here 5 years and going in selfless dedicatiopn and substantive contributions. No one is burying anything !though certain quarters would love to see it dead, stripping it of known hits tenfold what is seen here today.
Lock this up and you may as well lock your Roswell threads and its derivatives, and sing Dixie or whatever Eulogy seen fit to the remainder.

Sys

Oh, no, nothing like that. Not even hormone treatments. Just a new hairdo is all. smiley

I got bored with watching the Bigfoot DNA train wreck and thought I'd check in here to see if anything interesting was afoot.

Thanks, Eq! I saw references to the poll but hadn't been there yet. I've now added my two scents.

That other thread sprout is interesting. One would think there would be something other than a forlorn echo in there after all this time. Not even any demon droppings in there.

Hey Sgt. Klatt! Getting caught up here on my breaks. It's just like a soap opera, really, you can get right back into it with a little review.

You may recall way back in the early days, there was Linda's star witness, Shirley, of whose existence Linda was certain since she had spoken to her on the phone. Then another Shirley popped up in connection to the drone business, in England I think. There may have been more. Seems like it was getting confusing, keeping all the Shirleys sorted out. American Shirley was used to denote the star witness, who somehow only Linda could see or hear. Soon it became a running gag.

Ah, memories. wink
