Nothing new there regarding the belief that some demons are aliens and ufos.
What is different is the attempt to use science with statistical correlations (state based sightings ,etc..) to support this belief. Unfortunately it's pseudo -science based on religious faith assumptions to begin with. These people already believe in 'God' and Biblical truth and are not approaching this from an unbiased science model to begin with so as evidence of anything it's basically worthless.
And one could use several different models to explain the cultural and religious differences and why people see ufos or aliens. If one starts with a biased belief system then that skews the choice of data and interpretation of it.

Dr.Wu have you seen this show?

Supernatural Demonic Forces
There is a television show called Supernatural, in which the world is haunted by demonic supernatural forces that the main characters are attempting to eliminate. Do supernatural demonic forces actually exist? Is there any scientific evidence?

I'm a fan of that show....been watching it from the beginning. It's a real hoot and loads of fun.
No, as far as I know there isn't any real evidence on any scientific level that the supernatural exists nor God for that matter. But that doesn't stop people from believing all over the world.
Interestingly in that tv show God has never played a part nor been around in any of the episodes or plot arcs.

BTW...you do know that show is fiction....right?

Really...? Well imho it's loads of fun if you like that kind of thing :which means campy violence coupled with horror and metaphysics.
In many ways it's similar to the old Joss Whedon shows 'Buffy' and 'Angel'.

Been on for over 9 years now...must be somebody watching it.
cool

ps: you asked about evidence for the supernatural. Do you think there is any since you are a believer... what are your thoughts on that?

God went through all the trouble of creating this fabulous universe that operates by an exquisite and infinitely complex set of rules. Given that, why would we expect him to throw all that out the window in order to show himself to his creatures? If his creations have sufficiently grown in wisdom and understanding, they will see that God and his work surround them at every moment.

So, perhaps the absence of provable, "supernatural" manifestations is actually proof of God's existence. If truly weird random stuff were happening all the time, that would indicate that there is no one at the switch.

There are some nice platitudes in there....but where is the actual evidence.
Why can't those who 'believe' simply say it's 'faith' and move on with their lives?

'Anyone' doesn't have to know, but those making the claim for God should have some evidence and if not then just say I believe based on faith and leave science out of it.

Strange topic indeed...so much that I fear for my life from these "demons=aliens crowd" that keeps pushing this B.S.

I draw similarities to this crazed rant....by the early 1990's Pentecostal religion --- introducing demonology in Africa --- that has subjected African children being labeled under a demons influence with exorcisms, banishment and sometimes murder being performed by these crazed people.

Conversely, why can't those who do not believe simply say they lack faith and move on with their lives? Seems you're the ones with a bee in your bonnet.

Faith is for the believer...not the other way around.....seems like some get that backwards .
Science doesn't rest on faith ; religion does.
No bee in my bonnet, btw....I'm agnostic and rarely even get into the discussion on these issues because it ends up going in circles as it already has.

I may be somewhat atypical for a person of faith but I consider science to be our best ally. Every discovery scientists make is another hint that all things operate according to a set of rules. There is nothing random about the universe.

So, if nothing happens by chance, why should we assume that the awe-inspiring master algorithm, to which all things are subject, came about by chance either?

Those who worship at the altar of science think it disproves God when, in fact the reverse is true. I think they call that divine irony.
