Smersh,

All this hoaxing is much more serious than many folks allow for.
The world relies upon being able to trust people. Commerce can't exist without this trust. Also the internet should be a great place to pass on information.

Sadly these jokers are creating an atmosphere where no one knows who to trust anymore.

Video may have killed the radio star, but these idiots are killing the internet.

I wonder how much these clowns make per hit/view? Personally I watch videos on youtube but mostly the music variety. Maybe the occasional How to video? Usually dealing with my golf swing or bowling ball release. I seldom watch UFO or Conspiracy videos there. They are a joke! When someone links one here I watch the first few seconds then usually cut it off.

While I can't stop the videos from being posted here I am worried about those who take the videos as the divine truth. Some videos and people are WAY OUT THERE!

Yes Hal, and the gullible ones who fall for this nonsense often say "Don't believe what you see on tv or in mainstream media" whilst not realising that the internet is generally far worse ...

Did you see the link I posted, showing how much Secureteam10 earns from Youtube ads for uploading this kind of nonsense GForce?

http://socialblade.com/youtube/user/secureteam10

And there are plenty of other UFO and "doomsday" etc hoaxers out there who earn far more than him as well ...

Thanks Smersh for the info on the money. Not bad money if they do it on the side. I would agree the conspiracy theorists especially those talking about the evil NWO probably make even more.

Perhaps there is something we can do as responsible netizens. When I find a story on the web and repost it here, I always link back to it, because I consider it theft otherwise. Whether the content is dubious or not, they went through the effort to provide content. Should we hold these youtube users in the same regard? What if they are irresponsibly ripping off someone else's hoax as their own? How would we know?

There are so many dubious sites out there - and plagiarizing ones to boot - I wish I knew a way to easily avoid the bad ones. As it is, I avoid watching youtube clips of UFO stuff altogether (unless posted here). I'm of the opinion that if it's on youtube, and it isn't a news story, it's just plain old fake. There's not much reason to view it. If someone has a legitimate sighting, they'll release it to a news organization as well as posting it on youtube.

I wonder if "our beamish boy" was planning on (or already is) making money in this fashion.

Here's a few more reasons why Tyler Glockner, aka Secureream10 is a total fraud.

Tyler has struck gold with his rubbish now and his YT subscriber numbers have rocketed, because he's been noticed by British tabloids like the Daily Express:

As mentioned by UFOTheater on his latest hilarious video exposing Secureteam10:

grin

(Edited to shorten the Daily Express link with a Tiny Url, otherwise it might make the thread awkward for people with small monitors as it all scrolls off the end of the screen.)

Aw... C'mon. do not completely bash youtube. There is some good stuff if you dig. You can find DIY videos on everything from repairing your car transmission to mixing your own paint tints. I fixed my cookstove after watching an instructional youtube video, saving myself the cost of a service call. It is amazing what helpful videos you can find. .... and a lot of conspiracy theory garbage.

Dave and Smersh..very valid points..If done correctly..recycling garbage can be very profitable..This could be Youtubes way of going green too. if they can turn the BS into electricity youtube just might put GE out of business. I have seen the same pattern with mainstream news exhibiting enormous bio mass potential.
If we can get into the groundfloor we might realize a profit of sorts. Thats why most likely they call themselves secureteam..they probably are. They should not get overconfident because hoax busting provides a good return too..

Yes, and do not forget David Icke although I don't know if Icke has his own You Tube channel.
