Interesting or no? I found another patent that is 100% a drone from the first page of this thread. The big blue triangle airship.

Remember those Japanese drones that were in the news a while back, the ones the police were going to use to snag non-police drones? Here's some apparent footage of what it actually looks like:

In other news, 'The Intercept' is reporting that American and British spies e-hijacked Israeli drones and spied on the Israelis in the process. If interested, do a search with a few keywords and you'll find it. Snowden docs were involved as well.

Yes interesting.99...may I call you 99? .no doubt the design and cgi were based on available parts and technology ending in our virtual chimera drone....applied artfully leaving it to the imagination to power its reason for being.

that said 99 it is easy for the imagination to see relationships between function art and tech and maybe even make it work..even if not consistent with the pre existing intended use of the elements.

If we wanted to 99 we can go back t the ages of flying carpets or as one poster ut it..spiritual machines..I have no doubt there were many influences .such as arabesque in the first drone you referenced..
