Romanek preliminary hearing rescheduled, set for May

March 19, 2014

Orlando Paranormal Examiner

The Larimer County District Attorney's Office confirmed today via a case tracking summary that the preliminary hearing for Stan Romanek was rescheduled for May 7. He was previously scheduled to appear yesterday at the Larimer County Justice Center in Fort Collins, Colo.

Romanek, a high profile self-described alien abductee, was arrested Feb. 13 on child exploitation charges related to the possession and distribution of child pornography, according to a press release published by the Loveland Police Department. The Romaneks and their following have maintained his innocence, suggesting he was framed for the charges in retaliation for his public stance on an extraterrestrial presence.

The Department of Homeland Security was involved in the investigation and resulting charges. The DHS announced today in a press release that since 2003 it had initiated over 29,000 cases resulting in more than 10,000 arrests for such crimes. The announcement stated that an inter-agency joint effort recently completed one of the largest online child exploitation investigations in the department's history, involving victims in 29 states and five countries.

Ufologist Greer announces possible leak of sensitive docs; critics skeptical

May 23, 2014

Orlando Paranormal Examiner

Dr. Steven Greer announced yesterday he received photos of alleged classified government documents related to Project Aquarius, a purported operation involving the retrieval of crashed extraterrestrial spacecraft and occupants. Greer stated the photos were received May 21. He tweeted yesterday they were "received in mail".

Greer reported the photos were sent by a person with contacts in what he described as covert aerospace and military projects related to UFOs. The person is a credible and reliable source, Greer added.

Photos of the documents posted by Greer suggested they involved briefing the Majestic 12, an alleged deeply classified group of elite intelligence officials dubbed MJ-12. Stories of the unconfirmed group and its purported activities have long circulated throughout the UFO community. The tales were fueled by documents published long ago and obtained under questionable circumstances.

Researchers such as Dr. Michael Heiser are highly skeptical of stories involving the MJ-12. Heiser facilitated linguistic forensic testing of some of the original alleged MJ-12 documents and found it very likely they were hoaxed.

Greer is largely considered on the difficult to accept fringe, even within a UFO community that traditionally offers a lot of tolerance for unsubstantiated claims. His workshops purport to facilitate contact with extraterrestrials through what he has described as highly effective protocols. Greer has also been criticized for what some liken to Barnum and Bailey type showmanship while disingenuously claiming to conduct scientific research. His work on what came to be known as the Atacama Humanoid and his film 'Sirius' were widely considered insults to intelligence, even within a UFO community not known for its discriminating tastes in identifying professional research.

Among the most critical setbacks of late to such showmanship in ufology has been the work of Dr. Garry Nolan of the Stanford University School of Medicine. A highly respected leader in his field of genetics, Nolan demonstrated a willingness to consult on such projects as the Atacama Humanoid and the Starchild Skull. He found the ET-related claims to be dubious and premature, delivering not only a blow to bad science, but also to the long running accusation that leading mainstream scientists will not examine purported evidence of aliens.

Some of Nolan's opinions on Ata may be viewed at 'Exclusive: Stanford-Geneticist Garry Nolan gives an Update on His Investigation of the 'Atacama Humanoid''. His critical observations concerning strategies employed by Starchild Skull researchers may be viewed in the comments section of '2012 FOXP2 DNA Report', a post at the Starchild Project's website.

Greer supporters are likely to remain hopeful the ufologist represents opportunities to crack what many of them believe to be a code of government secrecy surrounding an extraterrestrial presence. Critics will remain skeptical, however, suspecting Greer's latest move to be a ploy to create controversy and keep himself and his organization, the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI), a hot topic among UFO enthusiasts.

According to the CSETI 2012 IRS Form 990EZ, the organization surrendered its tax-exempt nonprofit status and declared the company a for-profit corporation effective Jan. 1, 2013. Some $177,000 in consultation fees were reported paid to the Greer-owned Crossing Point Inc. during the 2012 accounting period. A total of $180,360 was reported paid to Crossing Point in 2011, and over $214,000 was paid to the company by CSETI in 2010. Expenses paid to Crossing Point were nearly 70 percent of the $833,083 total CSETI revenue reported during the three-year period, according to 990 forms filed to the IRS.

Dr. Garry Nolan Talks Ata, Starchild Skull and Science

June 1, 2014

The UFO Trail

Dr. Garry Nolan is a geneticist at the Stanford School of Medicine. He is among the mainstream scientists showing a willingness to review evidence of what some believe to be an extraterrestrial presence, as demonstrated in his work on Dr. Steven Greer's Atacama Humanoid and the late Lloyd Pye's Starchild Skull. Whatever we may make of Greer and his tactics, his inclination to include Nolan in the examination of Ata should be considered a most relevant and interesting turn of events within the UFO community.

In an effort to keep up with the ongoing saga, I recently emailed Dr. Nolan and asked if he would field a few questions for a blog post. He agreed.

While other people still debating whether the UFO is "false" or "True", one of tourist in Northern Sydney captured this rare happening...

Appearance of Flying Saucers was caught on tape in North Sydney.
Three flying saucers were so low flying and one of tourist accidentally recorded it while others were not aware.

If you are curious enough, you can pause this film at the beginning and observe the Flying Saucers.

They didnt lie to you. Its not just because its shape is like a saucer and they named it "flying saucer" but in this film you can see that it is actual saucer and it flies...( dunno if the spoon and fork were in it together :p )

Thanks for watching and appreciate if you rate it :)

Thanks and God Bless you

UFO Tunnel Vision

June 4, 2014

The UFO Trail

My interest in the UFO phenomenon evolved over the years to include an interest in the intelligence community, or IC. This should be quite understandable, as those even mildly familiar with the UFO scene should be well aware you can't toss a dead rat in the American UFO community without hitting a spook.

Those of us interested in ufology and its sub-categories, such as alleged alien abduction, are also aware you don't have to pull too many loose threads before you find yourself immersed in researching conspiracies such as the Kennedy assassinations. Topics such as intelligence agencies, mind control and the exploitation of involuntary human research subjects might become standard fare for the thorough and sincere researcher of UFOs.

My expanding networking circles and selected reading materials naturally came to include increasing numbers of researchers and authors with interests in the Cold War, its conspiracies and their historical significance. In the process, I came to understand more about psychological warfare and the IC. I learned about circumstances such as a 1949 USAF Project Grudge report that noted, "Planned release of unusual aerial objects coupled with the release of related psychological propaganda could cause mass hysteria."

Indeed it could. I confidently suspect it has.

MUFON, GEIPAN and Transparency

The UFO Trail

May 17, 2014

The Mutual UFO Network has been conducting its annual campaign to advertise its upcoming symposium. As a variety of related promotional emails accumulate in my in-box, it seemed like a good time to take a look at what the annual event included last year and somewhat gauge its current relevance.

An announcement made at last year's symposium came to mind about a MUFON collaboration with GEIPAN, a French government agency that investigates unexplained aerial phenomena. Emails inquiring about the progression and current status of the reported partnership were subsequently sent May 1 to a few key MUFON personnel, including Communications Director Roger Marsh and Executive Director Jan Harzan. The email stated in part:

"I am currently researching the collaboration between GEIPAN and the Mutual UFO Network as reported in July, 2013:

"MUFON announces leadership change and alliance with French UFO agency (Video) – Openminds.tv

"I am considering publishing a blog post about the reported partnership and its development since it was announced.

"Are there any reports or information available to the public about the GEIPAN-MUFON partnership? If so, how may I access such reports or updates?

"Would MUFON please comment on the current status and progression of the relationship?

"Any information or comments provided would be most appreciated."

Harzan did not respond. Marsh promptly replied that MUFON International Director David MacDonald would "be happy" to answer my questions about "this exciting relationship between our two organizations."

Read full post, in which we see the statements of MUFON personnel greatly conflict with those of GEIPAN leader Xavier Passot, among other circumstances of interest, at:

That was indeed an intersting read, but I'm not sure why it was posted in the Hoax forum since there already are several Starchild threads somewhere ion the board. I would have missed it if not for being bored and clicking on the hoax thread.
It seems there are several posts here that might not apply to the Hoax thread ....just an observation.
Again, good info on the ongoing Starchild claims.

Assault involving Romanek confirmed; report not yet releasable

Orlando Paranormal Examiner

July 11, 2014

The Loveland Police Department confirmed Thursday an assault call occurring Feb. 24 involved Stanley Romanek. The incident was reported in a Feb. 26 post at the website of the 'Loveland Reporter-Herald', where the call was described as related to an 8 p.m. assault but did not include the names of individuals involved. 'Orlando Paranormal Examiner' confirmed the incident involved Romanek while requesting a copy of the police report.

The LPD was faxed a records request for the incident Wednesday. A telephone call was subsequently received from the department Thursday, inquiring about specifics of the request. During the conversation, the LPD representative conducted a search of a data base for the Feb. 24 reported assault. It was subsequently discovered the incident, case 14-1352, involved Romanek. The representative explained they would check the availability of the report and indicated they would follow up accordingly.

In an email received shortly afterward, LPD indicated the case is not yet closed and the requested report is not yet available. "Case 14-1352 involving Stanley Romanek, an assault case," it was explained, was assigned to the Detective Unit and is not releasable at this time.

Sources close to Romanek have stated on occasion he was attacked Feb. 24. Injuries sustained were reportedly significant.

Romanek has long been at the center of controversy due to his claims of contact with an alien presence. He is an author and high profile member of the UFO community. He was arrested Feb. 13 on charges of sexual exploitation of a child, less than two weeks prior to the reported assault incident.

Police detective: Evidence not consistent of a fight in Romanek assault case

Orlando Paranormal Examiner

July 15, 2014

A report released Monday by the Loveland Police Department included statements from Detective Henry Stucky who concluded physical evidence was not consistent with a fight having occurred in the reported assault of Stanley Romanek. An investigation into the Feb. 24 incident resulted in no suspect leads, reported Stucky, who has now suspended the case due to lack of suspect information.

The several-page report was received Monday via email following a records request submitted last week to the LPD. The case report was not initially releasable, but its status was subsequently changed.

The report contained narratives from several LPD personnel about a second degree assault call concerning Romanek, who is an author and a self-described alien abductee whose reported experiences were the focus of a j3FILMS documentary. Romanek was arrested Feb. 13 and charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Soon afterward, on Feb. 24, Officer Tim Yunger was dispatched at 8:30 p.m. to McKee Medical Center following a call placed to police by a nurse at the facility. The nurse reported that Stanley Romanek had been admitted with injuries and that he did not know what happened.

This guys tale just gets weirder by the moment.
Just curious but you seem to have followed his case; has any of his ufo claims ever panned out or at least look intriguing?
