Tonight, Tuesday, February 4, 9 p.m. EST, Jeff Ritzmann will conclude his three-part series of shows on Paranormal Waypoint exploring regression hypnosis in alien abduction research. The three-hour series finale will focus upon the case of Emma Woods and the methodology undertaken by retired historian Dr. David Jacobs. Ritzmann's guests will be microbiologist Dr. Tyler Kokjohn, as well as author, film maker and blogger Jeremy Vaeni, who, along with Ritzmann, initially broke and extensively covered the Woods/Jacobs controversy. They will be joined by Jack Brewer, a blogger who has allocated significant attention to covering the activities and resulting damage of such hypnotists as Jacobs and his peers. Check out the discussion, chat room and more at KGRA Radio.

The first episode of the series included considerations of the flaws in hypnosis as a memory retrieval tool and expert commentary from psychologist Dr. Scott Lilienfeld. Part two included review of work by the late trend setting Budd Hopkins. Guests were award-winning film maker, author and ex-wife of Hopkins, Carol Rainey, along with Dr. Kokjohn.

Excellent discussion last night. Confirmed many of my suspicions of Dr. Jacobs' methods. It's not fair to the possible victims and it's not fair to the wondering public.

Thank you very much, Swamprat. You bring up excellent and most relevant points:

- Individuals such as Jacobs misrepresent actuality, reporting false and ill obtained information.

- The people seeking answers and support from the man not only come up empty handed, but risk sustaining significant further emotional damage.

- The circumstances related to Emma Woods are not entirely isolated incidents. Not by any means.

- Re the above points, Jacobs and some of his peers do not care.

From the Paranormal Waypoint FB page:

Tonight! 9pm ET Exclusively on www.kgraradio.com

Paranormal Waypoint with Jeff Ritzmann

Cindy Bailey Dove: UFOs and Drones

Cindy Dove joins Jeff tonight for a frank discussion of her experiences with the UFO phenomenon, and how of all things military drones may fit into the picture. Even experiencers of high strangeness events have recognized an obligation to examine all possible explanations, and Cindy is one of those doing due diligence on her own perceptions. But first, Jeff has some news on the Emma Woods case - if you value freedom of speech and your basic internet rights? You need to hear this. Tune in at 9pm ET, kgraradio.com

I'm looking forward to joining hosts Bill Birnes and Nancy Hayfield Birnes on Future Theater. I anticipate some interesting discussion provided by both the hosts and callers. From the Future Theater website:

http://www.futuretheater.com/

Monday at 7pm EST

Jack Brewer

Tonight we invite you to meet Jack Brewer. One of our topics tonight is going to be the ongoing censorship that folks in the UFO field experience, especially if the topic is abduction.

Jack Brewer's interest in the paranormal and subsequent navigation of the UFO community led him to become convinced reasonable skepticism was often sorely lacking. His interests include alleged alien abduction and what he has found to be the exploitation of self-described experiencers, topics he explores at his blog, The UFO Trail.

From the Paranormal Waypoint FB page:

Tonight [March 18] 9pm ET exclusively on www.kgraradio.com

Paranormal Waypoint with Jeff Ritzmann

Ufology: A Line in the Sand

Forget the nonsense that ufologists are being "rubbed out" by mysterious forces that have conspired against the UFO issue for decades. Where do you stand? Do certain talking heads within this "field" claim to represent you? Or is it by proxy and default that certain individuals are considered media mouthpieces for the UFO issue - and ultimately present the "face" of the subject to the public at large? Are you tired of seeing baseless claims touted on TV and the web claiming to be representative of the "UFO community" that don't represent you? Tune in tonight - we may have options.

I, Jack Brewer, will be on Paranormal Waypoint this Tuesday, August 19, at 9pm ET. It will be live on kgra.com and listeners are encouraged to join the chat room.

Host Jeff Ritzmann and I will be discussing events surrounding the Carpenter Affair, a saga in which social worker, hypnotist and then-member of the MUFON board of directors John Carpenter sold information contained in case files of possible alien abductees to Robert Bigelow. This was done with neither the knowledge nor consent of the research subjects, some of which were Carpenter's paying clients.

Read more about the circumstances in my latest blog post, 'Discussing the Carpenter Affair on Paranormal Waypoint', and find out how and why the circumstances continue to be relevant to the genre. Thanks for your interest.

Hey, all -

Emma Woods recently posted some key episodes from Jeff Ritzmann's Paranormal Waypoint on her website, 'Emma Woods Files', accessible at ufoalienabductee.com. Included are the episode Swamprat was commenting on above, as well as a few others involving critical yet often omitted aspects of the state of research of reported alien abduction. I'm very pleased to now have these episodes freely available and readily accessible. The link to the web page:

Tonight we have a very exciting show planned for you, and it will be jam-packed with important information for anyone interested in the current state of abduction research. In addition, we will be talking to Jeremy Vaeni about the new Project Core in the first half-hour.

If you aren’t familiar with the story of Emma Woods, the story is here in PDF form from an old issue of UFO Magazine. Meanwhile, a lot has happened since 2010.

Emma Woods’ website is in the process of being rebuilt, and contains archived material related to her case for easy access. This includes Paratopia shows, Paranormal Waypoint shows, and UFO Magazine articles. Her YouTube channel has videos about her anomalous experiences, including footage of unexplained events.
