Time flies for the (arguably) coolest* president the US ever had/is having/will have (same difference according to Einstein and member Ghostofsilver), Barack Obama's 7th White House turkey pardoning ceremony, probably the only noncontroversial calls, and best accepted (across the isle) speeches, he made during his administration? 'Abe' now is TOTUS (Turkey Of The United States), with his vice Honest backing him up for life-long duty at the Turkey White House.

*) "coolest" refers to my interpretation of Dutch perspective and sentiment regarding the sitting POTUS. What can I say. Guy's ridiculously popular in my country, and in other European nations. smiley Ehmmm... I fear this post is of the 'If you build it...they will come' type..... lipsrsealed

Staunch turkey pardoning and dad supporting Sasha and Malia made for a grateful American president. Abe and Honest also seemed thankful enough of the occasion, although on occasion peckish, even attacking Obama's political director. HAPPY THANKSGIVING, galls and guys, MAY WE ALL HAVE A GOOD AND KIND AND SAFE YEAR!

One of those "less fortunate turkeys" (yet oh so yummy), President Obama referred to.

Cryptozoology News

Canadian Spots ‘Sasquatch’ Entering UFO

Nov 25 2015 - 10:14pm by Cryptozoology News

The anonymous 60-year-old man claimed he was hunting in an undisclosed wooded area of British Columbia on Oct. 31 when the incident occurred.

“I sat to wait for game. Just before dark, a Saskwatch entered the cut block, went to the middle and stopped,” he said.

As he observed the creature, the Canadian says a “large black shape” suddenly showed up.

“Before I could move or think, it shone a light on it and both disappeared,” he explains, adding that the event “blew his mind” and left him wondering whether the cryptid primates could actually be “some kind of UFOs’ scouts or explorers”.

He did not present photographic evidence nor further details regarding the physical characteristics of the purported biped.

A paranormal school of thought proposes the interdimensional hypothesis, which suggests these visitations could be part of entities traveling through different layers of reality or dimensions. Some of these researchers believe in the possibility of extraterrestrial beings using these primates as a tool to explore planet Earth, teleporting them via light beams.

Author and researcher Kewaunee Lapseritis, in his 2011 book The Sasquatch People and Their Interdimensional Connection, presented 187 alleged cases of this phenomenon he claims were obtained during 55 years of research.

Thanksgiving in a strange nation of Catriots...

Ah, just learnt a new verb, Sysconfig (thanks!)

gruber

verb, intransitive

1. to make incorrect predictions with great confidence: Dude, you really grubered that one, didn’t you?

2. to swing and miss; to strike out: I like Manny Ramirez, but he grubers so much.

DERIVATIVES:

grubered [past tense], grubering [present participle].

noun

1. one who errs, but does not repent: Sir, you promised there would be an iPod Touch with a camera, and you’re not even sorry — what a gruber!

2. an asshat who blames others for his mistakes; a dicknose: Buddy, you are such a gruber.

DERIVATIVE:

gruberly [adjective]

1. being similar to or resembling a gruber

2. standing in a position in which one’s head is inserted in one’s anus.

Fake Steve Net

To talk turkey with'ya: for better or worse, the Dutch government goes crazy over just about anything Americans do. You are our Big Dawg grin in a big scary world. We're watching CNN, ABC and since recently Fox, can't wait to get your blockbuster movies on cable. Mesmerized by US elections (majority with persistent Dem proclivities - THIS IS HILARYLAND). Our PMs version of Hajj is sitting in that Oval Office chair (We Will Be Back). In a few years we'll be flying and helping manufacture the F-35. WE WANT THEM DRONES SOOO BADLY!! In my family we're right now hotly debating whether (on a slightly divergent Dutch holiday season schedule) to have an entire homecooked freerange bird, or go for the slices, prepared by a local specialist who supposedly outroasts me. ...Je Suis Gruber(ed)!....

embarassed rolleyes smiley

Student Says She Saw Unidentified Primate in Georgia

Nov 28 2015 - 2:31am

Kitty, a high school student from the Volunteer State, told Cryptozoology News on Friday that she was driving with her family through Georgia’s Great Smoky Mountains when she spotted the creature in the early evening.

“We were on my way to celebrate my birthday,” she said. “I was watching out the window when I saw a big, lumbering something in the woods.”

The student says the sighting took about 30 seconds and the animal was described as “tall and shaggy” with a “lumbering walk”.

“It had long arms and legs, and proportions like an ape’s. It was brown, and from what I could see, it was furry,” she explained. “It looked like an unidentified primate.”

Kitty did not specify the road they were reportedly driving on when they came upon the Bigfoot-like creature.

Back in April, a man in Georgia presented a video containing “glowing objects” and what he believed could be a group of “Bigfoots” in Gwinnett County.

In Case You Think YOU are Having a Bad Day:

Burglar stuck in chimney dies after homeowner lights fire

Published November 29, 2015

A burglar stuck in a chimney died Saturday after the homeowner lit a fire in the fireplace, California authorities said.

The burglar climbed in the chimney Friday night to rob the home in the small city of Huron but became stuck, Fox 40 reports. The man was discovered just before 3 p.m. Saturday when the homeowner came home and lit the fireplace.

The homeowner heard the burglar scream from inside the chimney and worked to put the fire out, causing the house to fill up with smoke, the station reported.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office said firefighters responded to the home and dismantled the chimney to rescue the burglar. But when they pulled him out, he was dead.
