Not to be a party poop or anything like that but "at least 72" could be taken as an infinite number. So 72 is no more significant then what follows it. I also question the accuracy of 72 since they had to qualify it with the "at least". Just saying. You know, stirring the pot. grin

As to that watch list. Just what makes one subject to being on that list and can it be abused? The watch list could be seen as a very convenient means to try and circumvent due processes. Any list is fine until someone finds themselves on it for an ulterior motive. We've been down this road before. Let's check that list to see who's been dirty or nice. tongue

There again it could simply mean that 72 have been identified so far.

Question, if the number had been 40 would the Christians have been suspect ?

7:48 a.m. Hawaiian Time.[14] The base was attacked by 353[15] Japanese fighter planes, bombers, and torpedo planes in two waves, launched from six aircraft carriers.[15] All eight U.S. Navy battleships were damaged, with four sunk. All but Arizona were later raised, and six were returned to service and went on to fight in the war. The Japanese also sank or damaged three cruisers, three destroyers, an anti-aircraft training ship,[nb 5] and one minelayer. 188 U.S. aircraft were destroyed; 2,403 Americans were killed and 1,178 others were wounded.[17] Important base installations such as the power station, shipyard, maintenance, and fuel and torpedo storage facilities, as well as the submarine piers and headquarters building (also home of the intelligence section) were not attacked. Japanese losses were light: 29 aircraft and five midget submarines lost, and 64 servicemen killed. One Japanese sailor, Kazuo Sakamaki, was captured.

GOOD MORNING LOVELY UFOCASEBOOKERS cheesy

UFO fled night sky ‘like Star Trek’s Enterprise’

09:44 Tuesday 08 December 2015

A pensioner has been left baffled by what he believes was a close encounter with a UFO.

John Ford said it appeared as a bright light hovering in the night sky which he was able to observe for several minutes.

But it was the sudden, dramatic departure that made the biggest impression - which he described as being like the Starship Enterprise of Star Trek fame.

Both Mr Ford, 69, and his wife Joyce, 70, witnessed the strange events above their home in Stoke Manor Close, Seaford, at around 6pm on November 26.

He takes up the story. He said, “My wife and I were about to go out for a meal and, whilst in the porch changing my shoes, there was a tremendous drone-like noise and I could feel a very slight shudder as it seemed to reverberate around the place.

“Quickly moving outside, I just caught sight of the tail lights of a very low flying, and very noisy, helicopter heading in the direction of Newhaven. I suppose under certain circumstances, especially at night, the lights of a helicopter could be mistaken for a UFO, but they are usually very noisy, and not very big or very fast moving.

“However, as I moved towards the car parked on the drive, I happened to glance up and noticed a bright orange coloured light in the sky some distance away, approaching from a north-easterly direction and moving in the general direction of Seaford. Naturally, I thought it must be another helicopter, as it was just blob of light and did not seem to be very high in the sky.

“This ‘light in the sky’ was moving in my general direction and seemed to cover the distance very quickly and, strangely, there was not that familiar drone-like noise as it got closer and closer. As this single blob of light reached a position in the sky, quite close to where I was standing, it suddenly mushroomed into a very bright configuration of light that illuminated a large area of the surrounding night sky, and appeared to be, simply, hovering.

“As I watched this light show, it became apparent that at the centre of this ‘illumination’ I could discern a very definite shape/pattern that was round in outline, possibly more hexagon in appearance, with a sort of cross like structure contained within the main outline. I am quite definite about this ‘shape’ as, on reflection, what I was seeing reminded me very much of a large ground-fixed type of firework display, where you get a prolonged, well-lit defined profile of something or other, that also creates that surrounding aurora against the night sky. However, this was no firework!

“This light spectacle continued for some time, and as I couldn’t quite believe what I was witnessing, I shouted to my wife to come out and have a look, as I needed some reassurance of what I was seeing! By the time she joined me, the light show had started to subside but, nevertheless, it was still clearly visible but had now adjusted its position in the sky.

“Both of us continued to observe this light for some time, which had reduced back down to a clearly identifiable compact shape and was continuing to hover when, very suddenly and without any indication or further movement, this ‘object’ simply shot away at such speed up into the night sky, that within just a few seconds all we could see was a small dot that disappeared amongst the stars. The speed at which it travelled was incredible – I could only liken it to the Starship Enterprise going into warp drive, it was that quick! This last event was slightly unnerving and a bit spooky – what we had just witnessed could not be explained away and there was no mistaking what we had seen.

“This series of events from spotting the travelling light in the sky, to the bright illuminated profile in the night sky and, finally, the manner of its departure, all played out over several minutes. It was not an encounter that was over in a brief few seconds when, subsequently, you may ask ‘did I really see that?’, and may come to seriously doubt what you thought you saw because it was over very quickly – whatever it was we had witnessed, these events had really taken place as I’ve outlined them.

“It was not a helicopter and it certainly was not a plane. Could it have been a drone, or possibly some sort of laser, or even an elaborate firework display of some sort? None of these possibilities sound very convincing or really plausible, though the possibility that it was indeed a UFO may also be a little hard to swallow, but it was very, very convincing.

“My wife and I did see something that was certainly very unusual and thought provoking. I am personally convinced that what I saw was a UFO because it was indeed an ‘unidentified flying object’ in the true sense (but, alas, no sign of any aliens). Given what we had witnessed, and that this series of events had played out over several minutes, I said to my wife, as some form of reassurance and possible later verification, that we couldn’t have been the only persons to have seen this spectacle, and that others would, undoubtedly, be reporting it and that it would be out in the public domain; and, if it was a hoax, that it would be quickly exposed as such.

“So, the fact that I have not read or heard any such reports during the last few days is curious, but perhaps not really surprising, as I am beginning to believe that we did have a UFO experience and that, in a funny sort of way, we were privileged to have experienced this extraordinary event, and that I wanted to put this unique experience on record.”

If there’s one thing you’d think Turks would have learned by now, it’s that you do not, under any circumstances, insult President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Nor in fact, do you suggest that the government is corrupt, that the PKK may not be “terrorists” after all, that elections may be rigged, or that the MIT is smuggling guns to militants in Syria. All of these things can and will get you arrested or much, much worse.

In the last two weeks alone we’ve witnessed the arrest and detention of two high profile journalists from Cumhuriyet, the arrest of the generals who were responsible for the investigation the Cumhuriyet journalists were arrested for reporting on, and the resignation of Today’s Zaman chief Bulent Kenes.

Cumhuriyet’s Can Dundar and Erdem Gul, were charged with spying and aiding a terrorist group, the gendarmerie with "forming and leading an armed terrorist organization," and as for Bulent Kenes, he cited ongoing legal battles with the government for his resignation.

This is all par for the course in Turkey. Indeed, it was just three months ago that three Vice News journalists (two British citizens and an Iraqi) were arrested for allegedly "engaging in terror activity" on behalf of ISIS. Their real “crime”: reporting on the conflict with the PKK.

Well as those who frequent these pages are no doubt acutely aware, Erdogan has for all intents and purposes lost his mind since AKP put on a better showing at a re-run election the President engineered in early November. In addition to the renewed media crackdown, he’s shot down a Russian warplane and invaded Iraq.

Well, just when you thought things couldn’t get any more surreal in Turkey, Dr. Bilgin Ciftci, a physician with the the Public Health Institution of Turkey has lost is job and now faces two years in prison for sharing the following on social media:

Judicial Watch: New Benghazi Email Shows DOD Offered State Department “Forces that Could Move to Benghazi” Immediately – Specifics Blacked Out in New Document

DECEMBER 08, 2015

“They are spinning up as we speak.” U.S. Department of Defense Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash Tuesday, September 11, 2012, 7:19 PM

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released a new Benghazi email from then-Department of Defense Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash to State Department leadership immediately offering “forces that could move to Benghazi” during the terrorist attack on the U.S. Special Mission Compound in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. In an email sent to top Department of State officials, at 7:19 p.m. ET, only hours after the attack had begun, Bash says, “we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.” The Obama administration redacted the details of the military forces available, oddly citing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) exemption that allows the withholding of “deliberative process” information.

Bash’s email seems to directly contradict testimony given by then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta before the Senate Armed Services Committee in February 2013. Defending the Obama administration’s lack of military response to the nearly six-hour-long attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Panetta claimed that “time, distance, the lack of an adequate warning, events that moved very quickly on the ground prevented a more immediate response.”

The first assault occurred at the main compound at about 9:40 pm local time – 3:40 p.m. ET in Washington, DC. The second attack on a CIA annex 1.2 miles away began three hours later, at about 12 am local time the following morning – 6 p.m. ET.

The newly released email reads:

From: Bash, Jeremy CIV SD [REDACTED]
Sent: Tuesday, September 11, 2012 7:19 PM
To: Sullivan, Jacob J; Sherman, Wendy R; Nides, Thomas R
Cc: Miller, James HON OSD POLICY; Wienefeld, James A ADM JSC VCJCS; Kelly, John LtGen SD; martin, dempsey [REDACTED]
Subject: Libya

State colleagues:

I just tried you on the phone but you were all in with S [apparent reference to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton].

After consulting with General Dempsey, General Ham and the Joint Staff, we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak. They include a [REDACTED].

Assuming Principals agree to deploy these elements, we will ask State to procure the approval from host nation. Please advise how you wish to convey that approval to us [REDACTED].

Jeremy

Jacob Sullivan was Deputy Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the time of the terrorist attack at Benghazi. Wendy Sherman was Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, the fourth-ranking official in the U.S. Department of State. Thomas Nides was the Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources.

The timing of the Bash email is particularly significant based upon testimony given to members of Congress by Gregory Hicks, Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. embassy in Tripoli at the time of the Benghazi terrorist attack. According to Hicks’ 2013 testimony, a show of force by the U.S. military during the siege could have prevented much of the carnage. Said Hicks, “if we had been able to scramble a fighter or aircraft or two over Benghazi as quickly as possible after the attack commenced, I believe there would not have been a mortar attack on the annex in the morning because I believe the Libyans would have split. They would have been scared to death that we would have gotten a laser on them and killed them.”

Ultimately, Special Operations forces on their own initiative traveled from Tripoli to Benghazi to provide support during the attack. Other military assets were only used to recover the dead and wounded, and to evacuate U.S. personnel from Libya. In fact, other documents released in October by Judicial Watch show that only one U.S. plane was available to evacuate Americans from Benghazi to Tripoli and raise questions about whether a delay of military support led to additional deaths in Benghazi.

The new email came as a result of a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed on September 4, 2014 (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:14-cv-01511)), seeking:
•Records related to notes, updates, or reports created in response to the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. This request includes, but is not limited to, notes taken by then Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton or employees of the Office of the Secretary of State during the attack and its immediate aftermath.

“The Obama administration and Clinton officials hid this compelling Benghazi email for years,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The email makes readily apparent that the military was prepared to launch immediate assistance that could have made a difference, at least at the CIA Annex. The fact that the Obama Administration withheld this email for so long only worsens the scandal of Benghazi.”
