NASA satellite footage appears to show what looks like shapes from the extreme weather phenomenon that has devastated parts of the US state of Texas.

Tyler Glockner believes the clip is proof that extraterrestrials live on Earth.

He said: “Look at this massive cloud which appears out of nowhere.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/4354904/hurricane-harvey-alien-hunters-ufo-nasa-ufo-satellite/

"It then takes the shape of a horse shoe. Right after we see a point of light which appears directly in the centre of this horse-shaped cloud.

“I do have to say it does look very anomalous – I’ve never seen something quite like this before.

“As we play it frame by frame it does, at the very least, look like something strange happened here.”

The alien enthusiast then claims the mysterious object vanishes but reappears as "hundreds, if not thousands of lone clouds”.

WACO TANGO FOXTROT SHIELDS UP! INCOMING X-FLARE
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-09-11/nasa-sun-erupts-significant-flare
Around 12:06 p.m EDT on Sept 10, 2017, NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory captured an image of the sun unleashing a massive solar flare from a recently active region. Solar flares are powerful bursts of radiation. Harmful radiation from a flare cannot pass through Earth's atmosphere to physically affect humans on the ground, however — when intense enough — they can disturb the atmosphere in the layer where GPS and communications signals travel. Per NASA,

This flare is classified as an X8.2-class flare. X-class denotes the most intense flares, while the number provides more information about its strength. An X2 is twice as intense as an X1, an X3 is three times as intense, etc.

The X9.3 flare was the largest flare so far in the current solar cycle, the approximately 11-year-cycle during which the sun’s activity waxes and wanes. The current solar cycle began in December 2008, and is now decreasing in intensity and heading toward solar minimum. This is a phase when such eruptions on the sun are increasingly rare, but history has shown that they can nonetheless be intense.

WHAT DO YOU SEE?

This flare is the capstone on a series of flares from Active Region 2673, which was identified on Aug. 29 and is currently rotating off the front of the sun as part of our star’s normal rotation.

I wish Lev were here he could translate that with his eyes closed.

A letter written in code by a nun ‘possessed by the devil’ has finally been translated, more than 300 years after it was written.

Sister Maria Crocifissa della Concezione wrote ‘this system works for no one’ and that humans invented God in the rambling letter.

She believed she had been taken over by the devil who was using her hand to write with in 1676.

‘God thinks he can free mortals,’ it reads, then refers to the river of the underworld saying ‘Perhaps now, Styx is certain’.

The letter was found at a convent in Sicily, where the nun had lived since she was 15.

'Inspirational' robots to begin replacing teachers within 10 years

By Henry Bodkin
11 September 2017 • 9:10am

Robots will begin replacing teachers in the classroom within the next ten years as part of a revolution in one-to-one learning, a leading educationalist has predicted.

Sir Anthony Seldon, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buckingham, said intelligent machines that adapt to suit the learning styles of individual children will soon render traditional academic teaching all but redundant.

The former Master of Wellington College said programmes currently being developed in Silicon Valley will learn to read the brains and facial expressions of pupils, adapting the method of communication to what works best for them.

The new era of automated teaching promises an end to grouping children by year, as the personalised nature of the robots will enable pupils to learn new material at their own pace, rather than as part of a class.

"It will open up the possibility of an Eton or Wellington-style education for all,” Sir Anthony said.

"Everyone can have the very best teacher and it's completely personalised; the software you're working with will be with you throughout your education journey.”

He warned, however, that the new technology would have to be carefully introduced to avoid “infantilising” pupils and teachers.

As part of robot-led learning, teachers would adopt the role of “overseers”, monitoring the progress of individual pupils, leading non-academic activities and providing pastoral support, Sir Anthony said.

The efficiency of automated teaching would also mean that only 30 per cent of school time will be spent in class.

A contemporary historian who has written biographies of David Cameron, Tony Blair, John Major and Gordon Brown, Sir Anthony heralds the new educational era in a book, The Fourth Revolution", due out next year.

“The impact is going to be massive” he said.

“This is beyond anything that we've seen in the industrial revolution or since with any other new technology.”

The first revolution is understood to consist of learning the basics of survival - foraging, hunting, growing crops and building shelters.

The second involved the first organised sharing of knowledge and the third was marked by the invention of printing.

Automated teaching machines would be “extraordinarily inspirational”, Sir Anthony said.

"You'll still have the humans there walking around during school time, but in fact the inspiration in terms of intellectual excitement will come from the lighting-up of the brain which the machines will be superbly well-geared for.

"The machines will know what it is that most excites you and gives you a natural level of challenge that is not too hard or too easy, but just right for you."

He expected the National Union of Teachers to be "very alarmed" by the prospect.

"The technology's already beginning to arrive," he said. "It's already there on the west coast of the US and it's already beginning to transform schools.

"I'm expecting this to happen in the next 10 years.

"The great danger is that it takes jobs away, and for humans beings much of our fulfilment in life comes from the satisfaction of work.

"If we get the technology wrong it will end up doing everything for us in the same way that satnavs mean we no longer know how to read maps."

Experts predict that automated teaching of maths and science will form the vanguard of machine-led learning, but that sophisticated algorithms would soon be devised to teach the humanities.

U.S. cargo ship set to depart from International Space Station

September 12, 2017

After delivering more than 6,400 pounds of cargo, a SpaceX Dragon cargo spacecraft will depart the International Space Station on Sunday, Sept. 17. NASA Television and the agency's website will provide live coverage of Dragon's departure beginning at 4:30 a.m. EDT.

Flight controllers will use the space station's Canadarm2 robotic arm to detach Dragon, which arrived Aug. 16, from the Earth-facing side of the station's Harmony module. After Dragon is maneuvered into place, the spacecraft will be released by Expedition 53 Flight Engineer Paolo Nespoli of ESA (European Space Agency) with the assistance of station Commander Randy Bresnik of NASA at 4:47 a.m.

Dragon's thrusters will be fired to move the spacecraft a safe distance from the station before SpaceX flight controllers in Hawthorne, California, command its deorbit burn. The spacecraft will splash down at about 10:16 a.m. in the Pacific Ocean, where recovery forces will retrieve Dragon and approximately 3,800 pounds of cargo. This will include science samples from human and animal research, biology and biotechnology studies, physical science investigations and education activities. The deorbit burn and splashdown will not be broadcast on NASA TV.

NASA and the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS), the nonprofit organization that manages research aboard the U.S. national laboratory portion of the space station, will receive time-sensitive samples and begin working with researchers to process and distribute them within 48 hours of splashdown.

In the event of adverse weather conditions in the Pacific, the backup departure and splashdown date is Sept. 20.

Dragon, the only space station resupply spacecraft currently able to return to Earth intact, launched Aug. 14 on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, for the company's 12th NASA-contracted commercial resupply mission to the station.

Triangle UFO Sightings as MacDill AFB is Evacuated due to Hurricane Irma

"On September 8, a mandatory evacuation order was issued for MacDill Air Force Base in response to the imminent impact of Hurricane Irma, which is now projected to make landfall in southern Florida on Sunday morning. As most MacDill military and civilian personnel begin the evacuation, sightings of flying triangles allegedly from MacDill continue to be sighted and photographed, this time with a military helicopter nearby. This raises the possibility that the USAF is conducting classified operations related to the incoming Irma."

http://exopolitics.org/more-triangle-ufo-sightings-macdill-afb-evacuated-irma/

MacDill is the home of US Special Operations Command, whose covert operations span the globe and allegedly use advanced antigravity spacecraft.

In a series of three prior articles (see parts one, two, three), I have presented photographs of triangular shaped UFOs taken by JP (a pseudonym) who I have known for nine years, and deem to be a very credible source.

On September 7, JP sent me another series of photos (six) of a triangle UFO sighted near MacDill, which was being shadowed by a military helicopter in what appeared to be a sanctioned military exercise or escort. Notably, JP described that the triangle craft was at times stationary. Photo analysis shows that the triangle craft are not propeller driven drones or kites of any sort.

User Image

"Given the approach of Hurricane Irma, it appears that Special Operations Command is conducting surveillance and possible mitigation operations. The evacuation orders for MacDill AFB exempts those involved in “mission essential” activities, which would include these piloting and maintaining antigravity flying triangle vehicles."

Famous Viking Warrior Was a Woman, DNA Reveals

New evidence forces reconsideration of a well-known gravesite—and may shed light on Viking gender roles.

By Michael Greshko

PUBLISHED September 12, 2017

More than a millennium ago in what’s now southeastern Sweden, a wealthy Viking warrior was laid to rest, in a resplendent grave filled with swords, arrowheads, and two sacrificed horses. The site reflected the ideal of Viking male warrior life, or so many archaeologists had thought.

New DNA analyses of the bones, however, confirm a revelatory find: the grave belonged to a woman.

The study, published recently in the American Journal of Physical Anthropology, sends ripples of surprise through archaeologists’ understanding of the Vikings, medieval seafarers who traded and raided across Europe for centuries.

"It was held up before as kind of the ‘ideal’ Viking male warrior grave,” says Baylor University archaeologist Davide Zori, who wasn’t involved with the research. “[The new study] goes to the heart of archaeological interpretation: that we’ve always mapped on our idea of what gender roles were.”

Viking lore had long hinted that not all warriors were men. One early tenth-century Irish text tells of Inghen Ruaidh (“Red Girl”), a female warrior who led a Viking fleet to Ireland. And Zori notes that numerous Viking sagas, such as the 13th-century Saga of the Volsungs, tell of “shield-maidens” fighting alongside male warriors.

But some archaeologists had considered these female warriors to be merely mythological embellishments—a belief colored by modern expectations of gender roles.
Assumed Male

Since the late 1880s, archaeologists had viewed the “Birka warrior” through this lens; textbooks had listed the grave as belonging to a man, but not because the bones themselves said so. Since the remains were found alongside swords, arrowheads, a spear, and two sacrificed horses, archaeologists had considered it a warrior’s grave—and, thus, a man’s.

As National Geographic magazine reported in its March 2017 cover story on Vikings, that all changed when Stockholm University bioarchaeologist Anna Kjellström closely examined the warrior’s pelvic bones and mandible for the first time. Their dimensions appeared to match those typical of a woman.

formidable impression, revealing how these an- cient raiders stirred such terror in their victims.
Photograph by David Guttenfelder, National Geographic

Kjellström’s analysis, presented at a conference in 2014 and published in 2016, didn’t make much of a public splash, and some archaeologists pushed back. Since excavation of the gravesite had occurred more than a century ago, perhaps the bones had been mislabeled, a problem with other nearby graves? Maybe the skeleton had been jumbled up with other people’s bones?

In response, a team led by Uppsala University archaeologist Charlotte Hedenstierna-Jonson doubled back to the bones and extracted two types of DNA. The person’s mitochondrial DNA, passed down from mother to child, would determine whether the bones represented one or multiple people. Fragments of the warrior’s nuclear DNA would reveal biological sex.

The results were clear: The team didn’t detect any Y chromosomes in the bones, and the mitochondrial DNA from the various bones all matched. The remains represented one person—and that person was a woman.

Hedenstierna-Jonson and her colleagues say that the woman was likely a warrior—and a respected tactician, at that. “On her lap she had gaming pieces,” said Hedenstierna-Jonson in a previous interview. “This suggests that she was the one planning the tactics and that she was a leader.”

Viking Life

Zori, for one, remains fascinated by what the discovery says about Birka, the Viking-age trading settlement where the woman was buried. Home to one of the largest, best-known Viking burial grounds, the site was also a thriving trading hub, flush with Byzantine and Arab silver from the sale of furs and slaves sent down the Dnieper and Volga rivers.

Perhaps as a result of the flow of goods and peoples, Birka’s gravesites bear a distinctly international flair, says Zori. Burial practices at Birka run the gamut, from burning the corpses to seating them in chairs.

"[Birka] tied the Viking world together—it’s about trade, about exchange, about people moving around not just to kill each other,” he adds. “Depicting [the grave’s] kind of martial ethos in a trading site is also important: it’s tying two important parts of the Viking world together.”

Zori notes that it’s possible, albeit unlikely, that the woman's relatives buried her with a warrior’s equipment without that having been her role in life. Given available evidence, though, Zori says he’s fairly confident in the study’s results.

“This is something that has generated a lot of interest through time, because of some of the texts of female warriors… and now we’re getting new technologies that can bring those texts and that archaeology into closer contact,” he says.
