Is it typical for earthquakes and hurricanes to happen at relatively the same time?

I don't know..but the data is out there and should be easy to compare dates..with those x flares hitting us too people were expecting something like this..lets not forget also the scientists were seeding the atmosphere recently for testing their haarp relaysabout 2 months ago or less..then we had those anomalies from antarctic that Zetar uncovered just before these storms and quakes happened..We are quick to say man causes climate change but very mum on what effects are from their military experiments on nature as if they were all inconsequential...I find that peculiar...if not..disturbing

I found it bafflling and scratched my head.. the sensors did not pick it up according Dahboo77..

Sys,
In the early years of Teslas experimentation with his ELF generators, he predicted that nearly any weather phenomenon could be reproduced at will with enough power and at the right hrtz being transmitted !

If you use a mobile nuclear power source and locate at the correct Pode to antipode location on Earth, you can control the weather at the antipode by pinging at the pode (including screwing with tectonic plates pressures) at will !

Lone

Edit to add : I just remembered something i read on this. In the early 60's the USSR had a HUGE ELF generator in Riga that was Nuclear powered. If you ever listened to short wave radio you could turn to certain frequencies and here what sounded like a WoodPecker. Those were ELF generators. They were low power settings and it is fact that they can mess with your mind and your health.
The Russians on one occasion boosted the power and pinged just once with a very high power spike. It caused a period of very strange weather in our midwest. It just so happens that the position of Riga region is the antipode of of our midwest. The Russians apologized profusely to the UN and promised to never do it again. Just a tidbit of info I've gleaned over the years.

Good morning lovely people cheesy

Isn't Nibiru supposed to wipe us all out on the 23rd?

PilotOnline.com (Virginia Beach)

Virginia Beach woman chartered plane to rescue 300 animals as Hurricane Maria bore down on Caribbean

By Mechelle Hankerson
The Virginian-Pilot

Sali Gear thought she had time to plan the largest animal rescue mission she’s ever taken on.

The Virginia Beach resident co-owns Island Dog Rescue, a local nonprofit that specializes in saving dogs from the U.S. Virgin Islands, where she grew up.

After Hurricane Irma devastated St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix, she planned to fly about 20 animals to the continental U.S. each day over a week.

Then Hurricane Maria threatened the Caribbean islands – and her plans.

Gear had two days to come up with a way to fly 300 animals to the area so they could go to her farm in Virginia Beach.

Her solution? Charter a plane – fast.

Over the weekend, Gear and donors paid for a $112,000 charter flight from Miami to rescue cats and dogs. They also provided $5,000 for carriers.

The animals landed safely Tuesday.

“I did it because it had to be done,” she said before the animals arrived. “People have moved heaven and earth to make this happen.”

Gear said she hadn’t slept more than four hours any night for almost two weeks.

“This is a sprint, not a marathon,” she said. “I’m exhausted emotionally, physically – but spiritually, I’m not.”

She’s been back to the Virgin Islands several times since Hurricane Irma devastated the islands almost two weeks ago. Most vegetation has been wiped out, as have many buildings, and animals are scrounging for food, she said.

Typically, Gear moves one or two animals at a time. She is on the board of directors for the St. Croix Humane Society and works with animal welfare groups on St. Thomas.

When the dogs arrived in Norfolk around 2 a.m. Tuesday, a bright orange note on each crate said: “I survived Hurricane Irma. I am still nervous. Please be cautious with me.”

But at Gear’s farm, they were excited to socialize. They wagged their tails and licked volunteers’ hands. Many slept easily in their crates, which filled Gear’s barn and porch.

Chris Sjolund, manager of the Virginia Beach-based animal rescue Hope for Life, said the handful of dogs her organization took seemed “highly adoptable” despite the trauma they’ve been through. She has worked with Gear before to rescue dogs from the Virgin Islands.

“They all seem happy,” she said. “Island dogs are like that.”

Some rescue groups picked the animals up at the airport to transfer them. Others met at Gear’s farm to take them to their new homes in places like Boston, Pittsburgh and Charlotte, N.C.

Gear doesn’t keep rescued dogs at her farm, and other groups will have picked up most of the animals by today.

In addition to rescue groups, local high schoolers organized to help Gear’s mission.

Cape Henry Collegiate senior Tinsley Sarrett put out a call on social media for students to take care of the animals once they arrived.

In less than 24 hours, more than 250 people – many from Virginia Beach – volunteered to help walk dogs, some of which had been in crates since Irma hit.

Tinsley’s mom, Susan Sarrett, was one of the volunteers who traveled to the Caribbean to help Gear right after Hurricane Irma. Before that, the Sarretts didn’t know Gear.

In addition to finding volunteers, Tinsley is organizing a pet food drive at Cape Henry Collegiate.

“I have such a big passion for dogs,” she said. “I love them so much, and we as people have to help them.”

Rendezvous with Vallee: From UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) to UAMs (Unidentified Alchemical Manifestations)

Posted by red pill junkie at 02:42, 20 Sep 2017

Last week my friends Darren and Graham, hosts of The Grimerica Show podcast, regaled me with what is probably the greatest honor a UFO buff can receive: A chance to interview Dr. Jacques Vallee, the most renowned researcher in the field.

I actually had the opportunity to meet Dr. Vallee in person last year, and conversed with him in the company of my good friend and colleague Greg Bishop --you can read about it here-- but this new opportunity was clearly different. For starters, on that occasion I let Greg do most of the talking, since the main excuse we had to meet with the honorable astronomer and computer scientist was to hand him a copy of my friend's book It Defies Language! --I was just too 'starstruck' and intimidated by being in the presence of such a legend, anyway. Besides, that had been a private conversation away from any kind of public scrutiny; since I knew Vallee rarely concedes interviews these days due to his busy schedule, I had to prepare myself with a list of good questions for him --the kind that are rarely asked in shows like Coast to Coast, if you know what I mean-- to which I consulted with a few people whose opinion on the UFO subject I value greatly.

I did my homework diligently, but nevertheless the night prior to the interview I was understandably nervous, and couldn't sleep until way past 3 in the morning. I tried to calm myself by watching Star Trek Generations, which had been recently released on Netflix, and the movie reminded me of my forgotten love for the 90's series ST: TNG and my college years; of how at the same time I was beginning to make use of the computers in my university to access the early Internet in order to read monochromatic UFO bbs forums, I would return home and try not to miss the adventures of Captain Jean Luc Picard and the crew of the USS Enterprise on cable TV; of how I would join them on their voyages in my imagination, and dream of the Final Frontier...

It's fair to say I was still deeply entrenched in the Extraterrestrial Hypothesis as the 'best' solution for the UFO dilemma back then, and even though my thoughts about the phenomenon have evolved dramatically in the last twenty-something years, I decided that night --out of a pure whim-- that I would start rewatching the whole series of The Next Generation, available in its entirety on the Netflix platform.

(I'm mentioning this seemingly trivial anecdote for reasons which will result clear later on, dear Coppertops…)

The night of the interview came, and my Grimerican friends were kind enough to let me 'be at the helm' of the discussion for most of the time we had Dr. Vallee on --you can listen to the episode here. The Grimerica Show prides itself in not trying to copy the outdated radio model, hence it has no sponsors or commercial interruptions, and the guys have learned the finesse of letting their guest speak and trying to cut in as little as possible. This informal podcast format has its pros and cons: The cons is that of the looong list of questions I'd prepared I think I only manage to cover less than 15% of what I'd wanted to ask Vallee; the pros is that the conversation went into avenues I had neither expected nor anticipated. At all.

There's a lot of things we covered in the approximate 1½ hours we had Dr. Vallee on the line, but the REAL meat of the conversation happened when we began to discuss what he calls 'physical samples', and the research he's been trying to do with them. Firstly he made the distinction between two different type of samples connected to the UFO question: There are the so-called 'alien implants' which became popularized in the late 90's thanks to the work of the late Doctor Roger Leir; it was surprising to listen to Dr. Vallee admitting how, after being very skeptical initially about the nature of the odd objects being extracted out of the bodies of alleged abductees --justifiably so, given how dermatologists are well acquainted with all the kind of odd foreign bodies which get harmlessly lodged beneath the skin, to which patients will have no recollection of how they got there if they had an incident at an early age-- he is now convinced some of these implants deserve further scrutiny. Perhaps it was Jeremy Corbell and the work he made with Leir just before he died what made Vallee changed his opinion, but in any case it was refreshing to once again corroborate that the reason Dr. Vallee is exceptional in this field, is because he's not afraid of reinventing himself and change his mind about the phenomenon from time to time; unlike most researchers who may start by submitting one interesting theory or case, and then spend the rest of their career DEFENDING their position against any type of dissent and criticism --but then again, that's what good scientists DO when presented with new data.

The other samples Dr. Vallee is interested in, and the ones he's been focusing more recently, are what he calls Ejecta: Pieces of metal slag supposedly expelled by a UFO under unusual circumstances --as if the object was suffering some type of 'malfunction' or going through some kind of trouble-- and then material 'drips off' to the ground at very high temperatures, which may later be picked up by the puzzled witness after it cools off to keep as a curious memento.

Dr. Vallee mentioned the famous Ubatuba case from Brazil which came to light in 1957, but for the English-speaking UFO field perhaps a more recognizable example would be the controversial Maury Island case, which was investigated by Kenneth Arnold and ultimately led to the deaths of two Air Force members while they were retrieving a box containing samples of the slag ejected by a flying saucer.

MUSIC

“When I listen to that one tone, I can feel my lungs breathing deeper, and my heart relaxing. A rush of well being!”

7 Amazing New "Musical Tones" Found To Relieve Stress... Promote Healing... Break Negative Cycles... and Restore Sound Sleep... in Minutes.

In fact, throughout our entire history, music has had the power to transform us spiritually and physically.

Because as Longfellow pointed out...
"Music is the universal language of mankind."

Now we're discovering what the ancients have known for millennia – music also has the power to heal.

Native Americans have used music and chanting as way to treat and protect against disease.

In an article published by The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in 2009, Dr. Assad Meymandi writes:

Aristotle knew the power of music could heal the sick:
"Since ancient times, music has been recognized for its therapeutic value. Greek physicians used flutes, lyres, and zithers to heal their patients. They used vibration to aid in digestion, treat mental disturbance, and induce sleep. Aristotle (373–323 BCE), in his famous book De Anima, wrote that flute music could arouse strong emotions and purify the soul. Ancient Egyptians describe musical incantations for healing the sick."

And so it goes in Biblical times with Zephaniah 3:17 – "He will rejoice over you with joyful songs!"

Today we're discovering how we too can use music to heal, repair, and protect against disease.

In fact, a recent study by the UK-based Journal of Advanced Nursing has revealed some impressive findings...

They saw...
Chronic pain and other painful conditions reduced by up to 21% ... depression by 25%

And more and more, music is being used in hospitals to soothe postoperative pain, lower blood pressure, and boost immunity.

Wonderful article Swamprat,

I always thought music is as close as you can get to heaven on earth. Now we know it has medicinal uses.

Monster croc shot in Fitzroy River in central Queensland

A 5.2-metre crocodile has been shot and killed in a central Queensland river, prompting warnings residents can now expect “increased aggressive activity” by any others in the area.

Matty Holdsworth
21 September 2017

THE killing of a 5.2 metre crocodile in the Fitzroy River has prompted an urgent warning for members of the public to be vigilant and to exercise Crocwise behaviour.

Department of Environment and Heritage Protection Conservation and Biodiversity Operations Director Michael Joyce said the crocodile was found today near Alligator Creek with a single gunshot wound to the head, The Rockhampton Morning Bulletin reports.

“People need to clearly understand that the death of this animal has changed the balance of the crocodile population in the Fitzroy and we can expect increased aggressive activity by younger male crocodiles,” Mr Joyce said.

“That’s because they will be competing to take the dominant position which is now vacant.

“I cannot stress strongly enough the need for all river users to be aware of the risks and to be Crocwise.”

Mr Joyce said wildlife officers would be actively monitoring the crocodile activity in the Fitzroy and promoting the Queensland Government’s Crocwise safety messages at every opportunity over coming days and weeks.

“We don’t know at this stage how long it will take for the balance of the population to be restored so my urgent message to everyone in the Rockhampton area is to be extremely careful and to report all crocodile sightings as soon as possible on 1300 130 372,” he said.

“Prompt reports are of great assistance to wildlife officers in their efforts to manage crocodiles, so don’t delay if you see a crocodile.”

Mr Joyce said the crocodile appeared to have died sometime in the past 48 hours.

The carcass has been removed as evidence and will be forensically examined by Queensland Police.

It is an offence under the Nature Conservation Act 1992 to take an estuarine crocodile without authority and there are greater penalties in place for the unlawful take of an ‘iconic’ crocodile, defined as 5 metres or greater in length.

The maximum penalty for the unlawful take of an ‘iconic’ crocodile is $28,383.75.

Mr Joyce said the dead crocodile was not believed to be the same animal which is currently targeted for removal approximately three kilometres upstream of Pink Lily Sands.

“Wildlife officers are continuing their efforts to remove that crocodile and a floating trap remains in place,” he added.

“If this iconic crocodile had been reported to the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection wildlife officers would have immediately taken steps to remove it, in accordance with the Queensland Crocodile Management Plan.”

Titusville Herald

Sasquatch watchers anticipate 500 people for weekend event

Friday, Saturday event, will include multitude of experts — and a night hike

20 September 2017
By Natalie Dodd Herald Staff Writer

WARREN COUNTY — Whether you are a bigfoot believer, a skeptic, or someone who’s simply curious, the second annual Summer’s End Sasquatch Watch being held Friday and Saturday, at the Taylor Diversion Programs’ location, at 7022 state Route 6, in Sheffield, will be filled with any and all things bigfoot-related to either help confirm or deny suspicions.

According to Cindy Manning, a bigfoot field researcher on the Sasquatch Research Team, when the first event was held in September 2016, the Taylor Diversion Programs was expecting a turnout of maybe 20 people, but what they got was much more.

According to its website, Taylor Diversion Programs is a youth and family support program that embraces a national movement to keep at-risk youth in school and beyond.

“Last year, we anticipated having about 20 people,” she said. “Then, at the townhall meeting, we had over 150. There’s talk of about 500 people for [this year’s] townhall event.”

According to Manning, Mike and Debbie Cummings, who are the executive directors of Taylor Diversion Programs, have a son who is highly intrigued by bigfoot, prompting the couple to reach out to her team to do a program with them.

After last year’s high turnout, Manning said the free event was moved to Taylor Diversion Programs’ larger, second location, with more room for parking as well as an area for RV overnight parking.

Manning and the other members of her research team have organized a slew of presenters for this year’s gathering, including Eric Altman, former director of the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society, bigfoot investigator, paranormal enthusiast, and podcast host of Beyond the Edge Radio; David Dragosin, former western director of the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society and bigfoot eyewitness forensic artist; Stan Gordon, nationally recognized author and investigator of UFO and cryptozoological reports; Jim and Dee Trick, founders of Goosebumps Paranormal Society, who were featured on Animal Planet’s Finding Bigfoot, and recent author of “Guilt Trip;” as well as Mace Morres and Manning, who are both field researchers of the Sasquatch Research Team who actively search three areas of western Pa.

The event will begin on Friday, at 4:30 p.m., with a meet and greet with the presenters. Attendees can then sign up to tell their story during the townhall meeting.

Dinner will be available, for a fee, from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by the townhall meeting.

The first night will end with a bonfire and local legend, sightings, and Indian lore from Dave Wargo, a story teller.

On Saturday, the doors will open at 8:30 a.m., with opening remarks at 9.

There will be seminars following the opening remarks until 4 p.m., which will begin with Altman, conducting Bigfoot 101: A Beginner’s Guide, at 9 a.m.; Jim and Dee Trick on Sights and Sounds of the Paranormal, at 10 a.m.; Dragosin on Anecdotes and Forensic Sketches: Scratching at Bigfoot Reality, at 11 a.m.; Gordon on Strange Encounters of Pennsylvania, at 1 p.m.; Morris and Manning, at 2 p.m.; and a break for lunch between noon and 1 p.m.

Throughout the day on Saturday, there will be vendors available, including a chainsaw carver, Peacock Candle Company, Allegheny Wine Cellars, and more.

“There will be a filmmaker there who will be interested in, perhaps, interviewing people who have had eyewitness accounts, as well as filming part of the event for an upcoming film,” Manning said.

The final night will conclude with a private night hike, which according to Manning is more of an investigation that 15 lucky winners will get to attend alongside the panel of presenters.

Manning said the winners are each permitted to bring one guest on the hike, and were selected through a Facebook contest.

“What we’ll be doing is just some things that people have probably seen on television shows,” Manning said. “We’ll be doing calls, we’ll be doing knocking, [and] a few of us have thermal imagers that we’ll be watching to see if there’s any creatures out in the woods.”

Overall, Manning wants this event to be community-friendly, and continue to grow and draw in people from all over, believers or not.

“First and foremost, [we hope] that we have a good turnout that we can provide information and entertainment to the community,” she said. “That we’re able to engage in good dialogue and hear from people about their experiences. We appreciate healthy skepticism because not everybody believes in these sorts of creatures and sorts of things like that. We try to use our evidence to try and explain in any sort of way that it couldn’t be anything but a potential bigfoot.”

In terms of growth, Manning wants the event to continue to prosper and bring in larger crowds, which has prompted her and her crew to begin planning for next year’s event.

“We’ve talked about a community parade, lots of events for children, an art contest, a bigfoot calling contest, and kind of making it an old fashioned community type thing,” she said. “Just bringing the community together for a nice, family-themed event.”

Those who attend are asked to bring lawn chairs, prepare for any kind of weather, and bring the fixings for s’mores to enjoy at the bonfire.

To register for the event, visit the Facebook page, at Summer’s End Sasquatch Watch (https://www.facebook.com/Summers-End-Squatch-Watch-1765623803678418/)

Mysterious Fast Radio Bursts May Be Occurring Every Second

And we still don't know what they are.

Fast radio bursts are quite the ongoing space mystery. We don't know what they are, and only a couple of dozen sources have ever been detected by radio telescopes.

But they may not be as rare as we think - they could be firing off as frequently as once a second over the entire observable universe.

"If we are right about such a high rate of FRBs happening at any given time, you can imagine the sky is filled with flashes like paparazzi taking photos of a celebrity," said lead researcher Anastasia Fialkov of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.

"Instead of the light we can see with our eyes, these flashes come in radio waves."

Most fast radio burst sources are only detected once. They are extremely powerful radio bursts that last just milliseconds. They can't be predicted, and because they are so short and unrepeating, tracking them to their source or trying to figure out what causes them is all but impossible.

However, there's one notable exception. FRB 121102, which was first detected in 2002. It has fired an incredible 34 bursts over the years, which has allowed researchers to pin down its location to a galaxy 3 billion light-years away.

In August this year, researchers from the University of California, Berkeley announced that they had detected a massive 15 FRBs in just five hours from FRB 121102.

We still don't know what that means, but Fialkov and her co-researcher Avi Loeb wondered: What if FRB 121102 is not an outlier at all, but representative of all FRBs?

According to their model, low-frequency telescopes could detect FRBs between 50MHz and 3.5GHz once a second per sky, especially accounting for future telescopes.

The Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder, for instance, was only switched on this year, and has already detected three of the mysterious signals operating at a quarter of its capacity.

The Square Kilometre Array, being built across Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, will be much more powerful, and will also include a low-frequency aperture array that will be able to detect the very low frequency signals between 50 and 350MHz.

"In the time it takes you to drink a cup of coffee, hundreds of FRBs may have gone off somewhere in the Universe," Loeb said. "If we can study even a fraction of those well enough, we should be able to unravel their origin."

There are several theories as to what causes FRBs. Black holes or neutron stars, for instance. They could be pulsars, but pulsars are typically regular, as far as we know. Or they could be caused by magnetars, a type of neutron star with a very powerful magnetic field, known to emit giant flares.

Some researchers have even hypothesised that they could be alien spaceships.

Whatever they are, they could, the researchers say, help unveil clues as to the origin of the universe and the Epoch of Reonisation, wherein the interstellar medium, primarily hydrogen, became ionised in the very early universe. We still don't know how that happened, either.

"FRBs are like incredibly powerful flashlights that we think can penetrate this fog [of the interstellar medium] and be seen over vast distances," said Fialkov. "This could allow us to study the 'dawn' of the universe in a new way."

The research has been published in the peer-review journal The Astrophysical Journal Letters. and is available on Arxiv here: https://arxiv.org/abs/1706.06582
