DNA Can Teleport shocked

User Image
According to a team headed by Luc Montagnier, previously known for his work on HIV and AIDS, two test tubes, one of which contained a tiny piece of bacterial DNA, the other pure water, were surrounded by a weak electromagnetic field of 7Hz.

Eighteen hours later, after DNA amplification using a polymerase chain reaction, as if by magic the DNA was detectable in the test tube containing pure water.

[ Further reading: The best surge protectors for your costly electronics ]

Oddly, the original DNA sample had to be diluted many times over for the experiment to work, which might explain why the phenomenon has not been detected before, assuming that this is what has happened.

The phenomenon might be very loosely described as 'teleportation' except that the bases project or imprint themselves across space rather than simply moving from one place to another.

To be on the safe side, Montagnier then compared the results with controls in which the time limit was lowered, no electromagnetic field was present or was present but at lower frequencies, and in which both tubes contained pure water. On every one of these, he drew a blank.

The quantum effect - the imprinting of the DNA on the water - is not in itself the most contentious element of the experiment, so much as the relatively long timescales over which it appears to manifest itself. Quantum phenomena are assumed to show their faces in imperceptible fractions of a second and not seconds minutes and hours, and usually at very low temperatures approaching absolute zero.

Revealing a process through which biology might display the underlying 'quantumness' of nature at room temperature would be startling.

Montagnier's experiment will have to be repeated by others to have any hope of being taken seriously. So far, some scientists have been publically incredulous.

"It is hard to understand how the information can be stored within water over a timescale longer than picoseconds," said the Ruhr University in Bochum's Klaus Gerwert, quoted by New Scientist magazine, which broke the story (requires registration).

What does all of this mean? It could be that the propagation of life is able to make use of the quantum nature of reality to project itself in subtle ways, as has been hinted at in previous experiments. Alternatively, it could be that life itself is a complex projection of these quantum phenomena and utterly depends on them in ways not yet understood because they are incredibly hard to detect.

Speculatively, (and Montagnier doesn't directly suggest anything so unsubstantiated), it could also be the little-understood quantum properties of the water molecule and not just its more obvious chemical bonding properties that gives it such a central role in the bio-engineering of life-forms. Water might be a good medium in which DNA can copy itself using processes that hint at quantum entanglement and 'teleportation' (our term).

Montagnier's paper goes on to discuss the phenomenon he claims to have uncovered using 'quantum field theory' within the context of his personal interest, disease propagation.

This is a 2011 claim that as far as I know has never been verified and is classified as a pseudoscientific claim. So I think no one has to worry about catching someone else's DNA. grin

Feel-Good Story of the Day:

Missing for 10 years, cat finds his way back to family after California wildfires

By Nicole Darrah, Fox News
Dec. 26, 2017

Pilot, who was separated from his family 10 years ago, was spotted by a Good Samaritan in October and reunited with his family after being severely burned in California's wildfires.

A family whose cat who went missing from their California home 10 years ago never expected to see him again — but they were in for the surprise of a lifetime when they received a call he was discovered in the aftermath of the state’s devastating wildfires in October.

Pilot, now 13 years old, was adopted by the Thompson family as a kitten in 2004. He was three years old when he failed to return to the Thompson family's Santa Rosa home one night, Jenn Thompson told the Longmont Daily Times-Call.

But Pilot was found Oct. 31 by a Good Samaritan who was searching for her own cats in the post-fire rubble — a little more than a mile from where Pilot disappeared 10 years ago.

Thompson told the Times-Call she received a call from a pet hospital in Northern California, where Pilot’s microchip was scanned and traced back to Thompson, now living in Longmont, Colorado.

"It's pretty crazy," Thompson said. "I got off the phone and told my husband, and he's like, 'You're going to go get him, right?'"

The cat underwent two surgeries to amputate five of his toes after suffering “severe burns” in the fire, but, according to the Times-Call, is settling into his “new” home just fine.

"I think he recognized my voice and that was pretty cool. When I brought him back, he definitely recognized my daughter,” Thompson said. “Right away, he went and cuddled up with her. I had no doubt. It's like, OK, he knows my kid."

The family, who said they’re “so happy to have” their cat back, started a GoFundMe fundraiser in November after discovering how badly Pilot was burned in the California fires. As of Tuesday night, people have donated more than $4,600 for the cost of his surgeries and medical care.

"When I got the first donation, I cried," Thompson told the newspaper. "Everything has been so surreal. And just how many people have been interested and supportive and on Pilot's side, it's been really cool."

Wil the court inform learned counsel that his remark is stricken from the record pending full review and duplication of aforesaid findings which was clearly stated on the record. Furthermore I request that opposing counsel surrender that nonsense stamp as unauthorized and an outrageous illegal manuever introduced solely to inflame the jury, and prejudice and impeach a Nobel Laureates credibility before peer review and testing has even commenced. Just as was Pauling when introducing Vitamin C in disease prevention, , The Wright Brothers concept of flight derided as nonsense by scientific American magazine.
These desperate attempts at deflecting what may be a matter of great import and possible upheaval of a stale and in dire need of a shakeup scientific order!

A Japanese startup wants to put advertising on the moon

http://www.businessinsider.com/ispace-startup-wants-to-put-an-advertising-billboard-on-the-moon-2017-12

People don’t live on the moon yet, but humanity is already making strides to plaster it with advertisements. The space travel startup Ispace Inc. just wrapped up a new round of funding that nets the Japan-based company more than $90 million, to be used in the development of a lunar lander and two uncrewed missions to the moon by 2020. According to Bloomberg:

"Ispace says the initial business opportunity is mostly in marketing, including slapping corporate logos on its spacecrafts and rovers, and delivering images to be used in advertising. A successful landing will also let the company offer what it calls a "projection mapping service" -- a small billboard on the moon’s surface. The startup says there will be demand from corporations looking to show off their logos with Earth in the background."

A billboard on the moon! Well, something like that—a company spokesman told me that what Bloomberg is calling a billboard will technically be a projection of an advertisement onto a lunar lander, rover, or other vehicle, not a physical board. But it will serve the same purpose as a traditional billboard, which should make future colonists feel right at home.

Is it legal to advertise on the moon? The short answer is yeah.

I think she's backed off a bit regarding the hijab aspect because it's exempt in the playing hall for the participants. Anyway the bigger controversy is the non-issuing of visa's for certain countries in particular Israel. Does not seem to be getting much coverage except chess sites.

Mysterious Universe

Pop Singer Rumored to be Robot Controlled by the Illuminati

by Paul Seaburn
December 28, 2017

Her name is Poppy, she’s a young pop singer who calls her fans “Poppy Seeds,” she has her own YouTube channel with a huge audience, she’s in love with her computer, claims she may be an alien species and is rumored to be under mind control or a robot controlled by the Illuminati. Wait, what?

Welcome to Poppy’s world. If you’re not yet familiar with her, you need to get out from under your rock, get some sun and check the Internet for “Poppy,” not puppies. Her generally accepted biography says that Poppy is a character created by 22-year-old Moriah Rose Pereira, who was born in Massachusetts and grew up in Boston where she took up dancing so she could become a Rockette and watched her dad perform as a drummer in a rock band.

The family moved to Nashville when she was 14 and Moriah moved alone to Los Angeles in 2013.

That apparently is when Poppy was created and things got weird. After teaming up with Titanic Sinclair (a director whose real name is Corey Michael Mixter), she began making videos of her original music in which she appears to be stiff, emotionless and robotic. Also strange and surreal – one early video is nothing but her eating cotton candy (guess what it’s called). 2017 was her breakout year – she did a series of videos on Comedy Central, won a “Breakthrough Artist” Award, released her debut studio album (Poppy.Computer) and embarked on her first world tour, which will continue through at least February 2018.

OK, she sounds more artsy than mind-controlled or robotic, right? Let’s look at the other side or Poppy, who Moriah and Sinclair (and everyone else) treat as a separate person or something.

Poppy’s videos occasionally feature her “friend” Charlotte, who is a celebrity-interviewing mannequin with a synthetic voice. Her song “Computer Boy” tells of her romantic love for her laptop computer. In interviews, Poppy stays in character (perhaps involuntarily?) and acts like an AI chatbot. As a result, fans and the media alike question her humanity and her purpose. She sells a book called “The Gospel of Poppy,” encourages fans to pray to her and says watching her videos is a form of church. She reportedly passed out Kool-Aid at a concert. She also sells a shirt that reads “I Am Not In A Cult Led By Poppy” – a form of misdirection?

Then there’s the usual casual-looking hand gestures and triangles (she holds a triangular chip and masked figures in white bodysuits show various symbols) that Illuminati fearmongers warn are signs she’s a puppet for that secret organization (no T-shirt denying this one yet). If you believe that the CIA’s Project MKUltra is still going on, it’s easy to imagine Poppy as one of its experiments. And, if you’ve been following the robot who became a citizen of Saudi Arabia and is appearing on talk shows to promote her robo-feminist agenda, you can see when Poppy could be a musical robot.

Is Poppy this generation’s version of Max Headroom, who in 1984 (the actual year) was introduced as “The World’s first computer-generated TV host”? Or is she simply the world’s best satiric parody of today’s Internet culture and social media – not to mention cults and secret organizations? We may soon find out as her film “I’m Poppy!” makes its world premiere at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.

While you’re waiting, care for some poppy seeds?
