Thanks oljack!

Hmm.. okay how to start.

My name is Valentene, odd and I hate it lol. Too long, and everyone always misspells it. I'm a 15 year old girl, in the 10th grade currently. I am a Vegetarian (since last year in late May). I have just recently, in the past few days, started researching aliens, ETs, and it's so interesting! Some is so very disgusting.. but I want to learn more about what's out there. I'm currently reading "Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind: Alien Abduction, UFOs, and the Conference" by C.D.B. Bryan. Good book.. you all should read it. It's older, so you should be able to find it in your local library.. which is where I found mine.

My hobbies include Photography, Reptiles, any animals, just walking in deserted forests during the day (the top thing that calms me- although sometimes I get VERY scared because I feel things watching me.. I used to think it was the Fey but now I don't know anymore), hmm.. reading, biology class. I collect My Little Ponys by Hasbro, just because they're so cute. I have a collection of around 25 ponys. I promise you I don't play with them though.... LOL. I have an obsession with LUSH.com Skincare.. mmm yum. I play World of Warcraft online daily. (new computer game) I love burning incense. I have two reptiles, as you can see in my avatar, and four cats. Yeahhhhh......

Well cya on the forums, bye!

This goes back a few posts because I can't keep up with this traffic! Yes lowtech, I think you did quite well and I miss mini also. He'll check back some day I hope. Welcome Valentene, by the way, that's a really good name. I would trade you mine for it. grin

Well I'll ask first then Valentene, are your two little reptile friends bigger then the four cats? lol

I'm sure you'll get along with Creolelady and Duneguy just fine since they are our resident avid readers.

Once again, welcome to the forum.

I will have to see if I can find a photo of Tai, my only "grandchild" (my daughter's chinese water dragon)
I like the mix of the reptiles and cats, but you just have to keep the smaller reptiles protected from the cats. My female cat didn't know what to make of Tai, she would sit and stare and he would get freaked.

oljack, I am going to try to find the cd for my photo program to reload it so I don't send any more huge photos in.
Sorry duneguy that the photo was so large. When my husband upgraded my computer in December, I forgot to tell him to keep some of the programs. And whatever I didn't say keep....was lost.
That's a shame because I had some of my genealogy photos of my grandmother on it. I was working on repairs to them because they were so old.
But I will try to get it back on soon so no more full page photos...didn't mean to scare anybody with that coming up so huge undecided

Lol hjdelight... whats wrong with that name? Valentene is bad, because people start calling you Valentine. And they actually BELIEVE thats what it is! They ask me if I was born on Valentines Day. Nononono. I hate Valentines Day. So thats the last thing that I want to be called.. lol. About being called Val, yeah thats fine with me. But most people attempt to call me Valentine first. How do you get "tine" out of "tene"? Oh well, one thing I'll never understand.

About the geckos.. no they're much smaller than my cats. hehe. Full grown adult size is around 8 inches. They can get larger though, as long as 11" from head to tail, but thats a certain "morph". Mine are around 7.5" long. I lovers them! Heh

I can easily pronounse Herb.

I was teased for my maiden name when I was growing up. It was Schlosser. No one in school could spell it or pronounce it. Add to that I was a skinny little person, who would constantly beat up the boys who picked on me....I was wide open for quite a bit of teasing.
Just made be a bit thicker skinned when insulted wink
The fast food place Burger King opened when I was young, so my name became Slopper, and they would say king of the slopper (instead of whopper)
When I knocked them down they called me mighty mouse.
Didn't care much for any of those names.
I just like sticking to Linda.
Easy to spell and say don't you think?
Now HJ, we have sent photos to oljack, and you should try it too wink

I love them too because they are subtle. Subtle humor is great. The one where the guy is talking to the lady with all the cats and the gecko is surrounded by them. It was funny before I noticed the sling on the gecko's arm but it was really good when I noticed it after several viewings. Lol!
