Wow! A Zortic fan! Thanks! (I'm certainly not ruling out a return of Zortic sometime soon, but it's definately not going to be the same)

And thanks for the feedback. It's probably not accurate to say that they're "never" going to find anything, but I doubt that they're ever going to find anything that hasn't been found before. I don't want their "fictional" adventures to pass the real work that UFO investigators are taking part in. I'd rather help present "real" evidence than manufacture an "American Dad" kind of alien who they have to keep hidden in wacky "sitcom" style adventures.

Thanks for the Welcome.

My first comic Zortic ran for over 8 years, so there are well over a thousand comics there to read. I also write a comic called Abby's Agency (someone else does the art for that one). And, of course, ETI-PI is the new one, there's only about a dozen strips there so far, so it's a good time to get addicted.

Those should definately keep you busy for a while. smiley

Hello everyone - my name is Sheila, and I just joined this website because I'm looking for help. It feels wierd telling my story to total strangers, but I'm hoping something I say rings a bell with someone, and that someone will be able to help me with this crap. My story if kind of long, so please bear with me. On September 18, 1984 at 8:07 p.m., I was 12 years old and my friend and I were walking out of the woods close to my house. We were disoriented because when we walked in the woods - it was just after 6:30, and after what seemed like a few seconds, we were walking back out and it was an hour and a half later. I clearly remember looking at the watch I was wearing, and both of us were trying to figure out what was going on. Then I looked up. Directly above us, and right over the trees was a huge UFO. It blocked out most of the sky and scared me terribly. My first reaction was to fall to the ground in a fetal position, because the only thing my brain could come up with was that I'd had the unfortunate luck to look up right before a plane crashed on me. It wasn't like in the movies - that's for sure. It was silvery grey in color, disk shaped with two clear (crystal or glass) globes on either end that had lots of multicolor lights circling each other inside. There was a huge black hole in the middle of the ship, (which I did NOT like - it bothered me alot) and what looked like a big pipe leading from the hole to the globes on the ends. This is hard to describe without a picture. Depending on what angle you were looking at it from, it seemed to blend in with the sky - I know this sounds wierd, but at one point we could only see an outline of the ship, and we were amazed at how good it blended into the sky. Anyway, the ship hovered over us, and then kind of wobbled its way away from us. It took about a minute for it to get out of our sight, and we both wondered if something was wrong with it, because it was so wobbly. Then, right after it went behind the trees, what looked exactly like one of the globes on the ends of the ship popped up right from where it had gone, and zipped right over top of us again. It still had the lights rotating inside but then something happened - I still don't know if it starting spinning, or vibrating, but it suddenly went silvery grey like the color of the big ship and then streaked across the sky faster than anything I've ever seen. This scared us to death - worse than the big ship for some reason - and we ran home. I was very fortunate to have great parents that could tell from the looks on our faces that something big had just happened to us. I remember my father asking if the ship made any noise or if we felt any wind or anything. It didn't, and we didn't. Nothing. Then he asked if the little ball made thunder, or made any kind of "boom" noise when it zipped away - again I said no. I remember that bothered him more than anything else, and as an adult, I know why. It should have made at least a thunderclap - if it was behaving according to our laws of physics. Obviously, it wasn't. So a few days later, I was riding in the car with my older sister, and one of those globes came right over our car and flew in front of us over the road. She pulled over - much to my dismay - and we watched as it flew straight up into the sky. Needless to say, I was pretty traumatized for quite some time. I had nightmares for months until I realized that I was ok - if they were evil or wanted to kill me or something, they totally could have, and they didn't. Years went by and I tried to forget about the whole thing. That worked for awhile, until I had my first son. I was working nights, and my sister asked if he could come with her to see the fireworks at a friends house on the 4th of July. She said there would be other kids there too, and it should be fun - he was 4 at the time. I said sure, and was happy he'd get to see them. My boss called me into the office around 10:30 that evening and told me my sister was on the phone sounding frantic. I was scared to death as I picked up the phone, having visions of fireworks burns or something like that. Instead, she said that as the fireworks were going on, one of her friends there noticed something in the woods to the side of the property that was shining a light close to the ground - then they all noticed that the light did not reach the ground, but stopped a few feet above it and started to freak out. It started coming towards the group of kids who were watching the fireworks from the bed of one of the pickup trucks. They hollered to the kids and started running to them, and my sister said my son saw it coming, and climbed out of the back and hid under the truck, with the other kids quickly following him. I still find it so strange that he automatically knew to hide from this thing - you'd think he would be fascinated by it or something, but his instinct was to get away. I was furious - it was one thing to deal with them myself, but to hear of them around my son when I wasn't there made me madder and more scared than I'd ever been in my life. I went through another period of nightmares and sleepless nights. Then I decided to start doing some research, and I started listening to Art Bell on Coast to Coast while I was working nights. That actually helped alot, because then I realized I was totally not the only person going through stuff, and maybe I wasn't crazy after all. That's when I kind of accepted what was happening, and realized that maybe they were doing the same thing to us that we do to animals here on earth. Tagging them and doing research on their behavior. Not that I liked that idea either, but I didn't feel so scared anymore. I felt like - hey, I hope you get a good grade on your freaking research paper!! Stupid aliens. Everything calmed down again, and I got back to everyday life. Then, my second son was born and everything started back up again. My first son was 11 when his brother was born, and soon after he saw a UFO hovering overhead, which zipped away again - another silvery ball. He dealt with it alot better than I did, and still remembered what happened when he was 4. Unfortunately, my new son had terrible problems. He was hospitalized for the first 3 months after he was born, and again for two months the next year. He has Chromosome 18q deletion, and it causes a host of physical and mental problems. He is a very happy boy, however, and we love him more than anything else in the world. He could totally be grumpy if he wanted to after everything he's been through, but he wakes up everyday happy to be here and to see us. After his second long stay in the hospital, we finally got him home and were getting back into our normal routine. About a week into being home, I woke up with my right knee being a little sore. I looked down and saw what appeared to be three little round bruises in the shape of a triangle on the top right side of my knee. I thought that was wierd, and wondered what in the heck I had bumped into to give me such a perfectly triangular bruise. I went up to get my son up and ready for the day. As I was changing his diaper I saw what totally horrified me worse than anything before. My son had the exact same bruising pattern on the same knee, in the same place. I can't even tell you how horrible it was to see that. My older son came by the room and saw me standing there, silently crying with a diaper in my hand and came in to see what in the heck was going on. I pointed to his knee, and then to mine - unable to even say anything. His eyes got wide, and I knew he was thinking what I was thinking. I don't know how, but we both knew exactly what was really going on. I guess the thing that bothers me the most is that I have absolutely no control over what's going on with my kids. I love them both so much, and I can't even protect them. That's when I really dove into research, and learned that other people had these same wierd triangle bruises too. That helped a little, because again, others had gone through it and I felt a little less crazy and alone in this. Everything calmed down again for a few years, in fact until three days ago. I dreamed of UFO's all night, and woke up grumpy and with a sore knee. I told my husband about it (he's slowly accepting all of this, but its taken him awhile). He was the one who saw my knee first and showed it to me. Another triangle bruise. We both checked out both boys, and didn't find anything - thank GOD!! So that's my story so far - and my question is this: Does anyone know how to stop this from happening? I'm just tired of it - I don't care anymore if they're doing research on us - I just want it to stop. I'm not able to stay online for long each day, I do therapy with my son everyday, who is now 4. So thank you for reading my story, and I hope someone can help.
Thanks,
Sheila

Sheila, welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing your story.
That was very chilling to read and I wish I had the answers for this to stop, but I am afraid that I don't.
I am hoping that others will come in and read your story and offers some thoughts.
Would you like for me to copy and paste your post into the abduction area of the forum as well? i don't want to do it unless you say it's okay.
