Hello, This looked like an interesting site so I thought I would give it a go. I have had an interest in UFO's for many years. I believe I experienced a real sighting 30+ years ago. I also believe I was witness to a hoax of enormous cost, time, and effort. It was quite interesting. I have seen some really cool unexplainable lights and objects in the sky. I have taken thousands of photographs which will take me the rest of my life to look through, many involve the unexplained. I have been called crazy, a conspiracy theorist, and some other things which were not very nice. In my watch, I recorded date, time, elevation, magnetic bearing, recorded in digital image, digital video, analog video. I took measurements with instruments I was familiar with. I designed and built some of my own equipment. If I could observe, I also tried to influence using equipment and methods I thought might be appropriate. I can't say it was a good experience or one I would recommend.

The UFO issue has been with us all for a long time. The disclosure project was a really good attempt by people involved in cover ups and conspiracy to come clean. Nothing so far has worked even with so much information in our face. No individual or group in any nation has a chance of ever really hearing the truth, except perhaps US citizens. The companies, governments, and filthy rich individuals who continue to hide information are worse than any criminal or war machine ever seen on this planet throughout recorded history. Individuals will never come forward with the threat and real danger they and their family will be open to should they even think about breathing a word.
We alone in this country have the means right now of renewing our freedom, of bringing to the people of the world real freedom. We cannot even imagine what true freedom is because we have never experienced it.
I propose we force our law makers to pass legislation which in basis does the following:
For a period of (a month, a year, whatever you like) pardons will be given to any person, company if they come forward now and declare publicly their involvement. After this period of time legislation will consider the act of secrecy to be treason and punishable by death. It must also be added, zero tolerance - all money, property of any and all involved will be confiscated by the government. The actual section of secrecy can start with alien technology but should be expanded to cover other issues of secrecy which we can add later.
It will only take one person to come forward to get clean and that one can bring down the whole house. Congress should have no problem passing legislation to do this as they all deny it all anyway. Shove it to them and free the planet.

Hi Everyone
My name is Kaylyn and I live in Australia, my interest in UFO's began in 1988 when I had quite a few personal contact experiences. I joined a UFO group here in Australia in 1990, and suddenly found myself running it. I did so for about four years before handing it over to someone else.

I took myself on an inner and outer journey looking for answers, I'm still looking and I'm still journeying. Over the years I haven't had much to do with UFO groups. They just seem to go over the same old ground constantly, coming up with the same old answers continually.

I lost interest in the publics opinion on UFO's and became more interested in the spiritual and paranormal aspects of it. But just recently I felt compelled to look into the whole subject area again.

Thats when I stumbled across this site on the net and signed up. Perhaps its time, and I would also very much like to talk to others who have had contact experience and share their thoughts and feelings on it.

I've not been on a forum before at least not one that I've actually participated in, and I've never thought about actively talking with others about my experiences or theirs on the net before. So maybe there's a reason for it that I'm not even aware of yet.

Anyway I look forward to meeting many interesting people, and having many interesting conversations.

Blessings to all Kaylyn smiley

Hi guys, I'm John, you may know me from my scintillating performance as Cyrus "the Virus" Grissom in Con Air.

Just kidding. I'm not that John Malkovich. Anyway, what do you call yourself when you're interested enough in anomalous aerial phenomena to think they warrant investigation and open, de-stigmatised discussion?

Because "UFO Enthusiast" or "UFO buff" seems like the kind of patronising, tongue-in-cheek phrase that the mainstream media use - in the same vein as "trekkie" - to marginalise a group of largely reasonable people and make them seem ridiculous. If I were a "UFO enthusiast" I'd worry about myself. There's a distinctly dysfunctional vibe to it. I'd expect to be found hiking up forested hillsides in a cagoule with a salad strainer on my head.

As it is, though, I'm just an average, non-hysterical and often incredulous person who happens to think the high frequency and occasionally high quality of UFO reports suggests there's something worth investigating, or at least not dismissing out of hand. Unlike Fox (Mulder) And Friends, I don't "Want To Believe". I like my banal, non-wondrous and scientifically explicable life just fine, thanks, and would love to see it continue that way. You might think it churlish and small-minded of me, but I can't think of anything potentially more frightening and disturbing than an extraterrestrial intelligence visiting Earth.

I have a hard time buying all the New Age, Utopian "Welcome Space Brothers" angle on things - whilst I can't particularly think of a reason why hypothetical aliens would want to kill us, I can't think of a reason why they'd be too concerned about not doing, either. The way I see it, I couldn't imagine having a vendetta against ants, but if I step on a few, I don't lose any sleep over it - and if they're somewhere that it's not convenient to me for them to be, I've no problem with getting rid of them.

So I'm hoping there's a rational, earthly, boring and completely SAFE explanation for the UFOs, and I'm going to hang around here til we conclusively find one!

Hi Gang,

My name is Annie and I've been 'lurking' for a few weeks...just reading all the interesting posts and following lots of fascinating links. Anyway, I thought it was time to join up and say 'Hello!'. smiley

My interest in UFOs and related topics is fairly new. I'm a science groupie (I read physics books for fun, go to lectures, etc..) and it wasn't until I read Nick Cook's book The Hunt For Zero Point and saw his documentary on the History Channel that I started digging into the cover-ups, sightings and all the other evidence that something is going on and we are not being told the whole truth.

I believe a lot of sightings are probably black ops...the history of the stealth fighter proves that the government is fully capable of keeping secrets for many years.

I look at pictures of the moon and Mars, and I marvel at the fascinating objects that pretty much go unmentioned by NASA and mainstream science (think: Arthur's Bushes, the Shard on the moon, etc.) and wonder why they used to color Mars images red?...

I wonder about the Brookings Report...is NASA really following its recommendations to avoid societal panic? I wonder about the pyramids and the Great Sphinx...how old are they, really?

There are so many questions and so many answers that don't quite seem right to me.

So, anyway....I'm here, thanks for having me and I'll see ya in the forums!

Hi all, I'm new here today and look forward to reading and contributing to UFO Casebook Forum.
I decided to join as I'm very impressed with all the effort made and up-to-date headlines and reports I've been reading on the front page here. Someone's working pretty-hard to keep us up to speed on developing reports.
I'm from the cold country known as Canada and belong to a few sites about mostly similar subject matter.

Looking forward to reading many of the posts here at UFO Casebook, there's a lot of knowledge around here.
