hj, don't forget to take some photos! Australia is probably one of the places I won't get to very soon, so please be my eyes for a bit and give in depth descriptions of all the beautiful things you see. (uh, I'm talking about the land though, not women.) wink

Right about the time of day I need a good laugh. Some of your one liners just crack me up creolelady. You two should stand next to each other on a stage somewhere and have a battle of wits.

That reminds me of a joke!

An old guy goes to the doctor. The next day the doctor see's him someplace with a beautiful young lady on his arm. The guy is laughing and just seems super happy.
" How are you doing?" the doctor inquires.
"Just great doc! I followed your advice!"
"Oh, what's that?"
"You said to get a hot mama and be cheerful."
"No, no, no!" the doctor shouts, "I told you that have a heart murmur...be careful!"

LOL oh God, hon. That reminds me of my dad. Yea hes DEAF yet refuses to wear his hearing aids. THe doc tells him shes giving him allegra. Allegra is for allergies. So while im waiting to get his prescription i hear laughter from the other patients sitting in the waiting room. He proudly goes out and (he talks loud cause hes deaf ok?) he yells at my mom and says "We're gonna have fun tonight. Doctor says shes giving me viagra."
NO , this is not a joke. Its real life with my parents. rolleyes
Let me tell you im WAITING for rooms at the retirement home to open up for those two.

lol, okay hj, you need the stage and qoh, you could probably provide material from experiences that many people have to live through every day. Maintaining a sense of humor is good for the soul, and it sounds like the whole group on casebook can spread a lot of laughter!

Speaking of old folks.....an old guy goes to his ENT and says,

"Doc, I've lost the hearing in my left ear."
"Really? Let me take a look."
The doctor looks, goes "My god!" and pulls a rectal suppository out of the old guy's ear.
The old guy looks at it and says "Mmm...now I know what happened to my hearing aid!"
