I'll second that welcome WPSSU!
I hope you'll jump right in and enjoy the fun.

BG, I think that sounds so cool to make essential oils and tinctures. Let me know how it goes. I love things like aromatherapy. Sounds like a great activity. Snow at the end of April....isn't that something. Today is going to be in the 80's so this New Orleans girl will be feeling pretty happy.
Have a great day!

Hi Ashiana and of course Creole , I have been busy getting a non profit up and running and hope to contribute at least a thread a week soon.

I might add that this is a very nice forum in more ways than one * wink * heh..

Hey, Binaryghost, I haven't seen you here for a while. How is the business going on the upstart? What kind of business? if you haven't told us already. How's the weather getting over there? Pretty warm here today, but the sun is shining and that makes it so much better.
Gee, ya' think I ask enough questions?
That comes from being around children all the time! grin

Hi Ms Creole !

Your font always brings a smile to my face no matter how many butt holes I have suffered this day. Heh…(do you have any unmarried sisters?)

Mom is as good as she can be , bogie the basset is laying outside pouting for a walk , and I am well. I hope you and yours are good too!

Ps still don’t have a telescope …sigh…I need a notebook as well (yes I am hard on the equipment) …anyone have one to sell cheap or trade?

RB

Good to see you too BinaryGhost. I wonder if there are any members here who have a telescope, or know someone who has one and willing to trade or sell low cost?

We are doing okay here, just trying to work out some things with one of my sons. Glad to hear that your Mom is doing well. I miss mine quite a bit.
smiley I have a younger sister in New Orleans who has been a widow for several years.

I do hope we can finsd a telescope for you because ya' never know what interesting things might fly by.
Take care and have a great evening.

Hey Creolelady, a little something in common here! I'm a newbie, my name is Beau, and we have UFOs and singing in common. My singing however was in a classic R&R band for a living for many years. How many? Ahhh, lets not go there! I like writing (currently working on a sci-fi novel, 6yrs. so far), riding my mountain bike reading about and discussing the mysteries of the universe, and looking for UFOs. To date have only seen 3 possible sightings. I also have worked as a criminal psychologist in my life, but only five yrs. then music for the rest. So far I really like the site, and wish I had found it sooner. Lots of cool people and interesting ideas. At the risk of boring you to death, I'll just post this and read on. Any questions? Feel free! Beau laugh

Well, Hi Beau! Something else in common....I have a psych degree, but did my work in CPS for many years. Now I work in an elementary school where my youngest child attends. I was also a double major until almost last semester....the other major was English. I wrote mostly poetry and short things while in college, but didn't finish the last four classes. I was too worn out by that time and ready to get out into life. smiley
I mostly sang for weddings,(one of my sons has asked me to sing at his wedding next year) and at churches when I was younger, although love to sing all types except opera.
As B.J. said, you will find great members here on casebook. Do you know of anyone wanting to part with a telescope? Our friend Binaryghost is in need of one.
I hope you will find every visit enjoyable.

Thanks for the welcome Creolelady smiley, that's what I like about this site, everyone seems to have respect and warmness.

It is a small world isn't it? Now if you tell me you also like writing political satire, I'm gonna ask you to marry me, LOL! Just kidding wink, really don't want to do that again, gettin too set in my ways and I'd just drive someone crazy!

I don't know if I mentioned I am from Nebraska or not. Another of my passions is Nebraska football. I have a lot of fun with that as I played at the Univerlity of Miami Fla. and three of my classmates played at Neb. When Neb. played Miami for the National championship a few years ago we had a lot of fun during the game as we're all back home now and gave each other a lot of guff ha.

Oops, I'm rambling here. I was wondering since you have a psych degree Creole, what kind of psychological impact do you think aliens, abductions, and ufo sightings have on our society in general? Anyone who wants to respond please tell me about yourself and your views on this too if you like. Thanks, Beau smiley

Hmm, that's a loaded question. I have several views on it, but will have to post them maybe by pm later. I just stopped in for a few minutes before runing to buy groceries (ugh!.)
It will take some thought to put those opinions into writing. Sometimes I ramble and jump too quickly in writing on line. When speaking to another person it is much easier to communicate because I like to "watch" as well as listen. Since I don't have that luxury on line, I will think much more of what I want to say.

Well, Nebraska man you got to love big orange aka UT. Heh, anyway, my MOS in the army was 37X, so that may qualify me having an more than a passing interest in psychology; however my education was in and is in things ore spiritual. Welcome again to the forums.
