I have never seen Dark Skies, or Taken. Sounds like they must have been pretty good.

I also posted this in the abduction area... sorry bout that undecided

hello, Im SO SO new to this site. Ive been in lurk mode for a while, bc to be completely honest, I feel kinda goofy joining a forum about UFO, conspiracy theories and so on. Not sure why, I guess Im one of those.. "gotta see it to believe it" kind of people. BUT.. problem is.. I feel something. Its weird to me.. but not new, Im just not sure where to go.

Let me start by saying, Im a mom, a college student and a Navy wife. Ive been a Navy wife for 6 years and Ive seen a few different states, but nothing beats the East Coast!
Since I was a child, Ive always had weird experiences.. some of which I wasnt sure if they were just childhood fears, or what. But, I use to be an avid sleep walker and would wake up many nights with my clothes on inside out and backwards (specifically) and would sometimes be found outside on my front porch by my mother. I would have fears of the 'darkness' in my room to the point where sometimes I wouldnt make it to the bathroom (even at 13). Now, as an adult, I still have those darkness feelings, but not much of anything else. I, for a long time, felt like there is something BIG Im suppose to do in this life (not sure if many others feel the same) and for a year or so now, I get this feeling in my stomach that something big is coming. This didnt really hit me until hindsight kicked in and I remembered that as a child I would cry incessantly(sp?) about the early death of my mother. Just 4 yrs ago she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 39 and was put thru all the meds. A few months later while in the hospital, I cried in her arms telling her I didnt want her to go and that she couldnt go yet.. she would say, girl, Im not going anywhere. A few days later, she was gone. She really didnt think she was going to die. Weeks earlier I would be walking around and "views" of her funeral and what she would wear kept popping into my head. This was well before she was hospitalized. SO, thepoint Im getting at, is that this feeling of something happening wont seem to go away, and it make me feel anxious and a little scared. Like I said, I dont know much about this site and some of the stuff Ive read seems kinda silly( no offense to anyone..as Im sure some of my stuff seems trivial) but Im not sure where to go. I dont feel as though I have a place to discuss some of these things, nor do I feel like anyone would ever really take me seriously. I just dont know where to begin or why I feel I am the way I am. does that make sense? Im lost.... I guess.

Not lost at all....you have taken an important step in trying to understand the feelings that are running through you. I am sure there could probably be more than one reason for some of your experiences, but you certainly have had your intuitive experiences especially with regard to your mother.
Maybe a part of what you are experiencing is that feeling of
"why I am here? Is there any rhyme or reason to this journey? what part do I play? and where am going to? and have we been here alone, or visited by something else that has stepped into your life."
Many of these questions may have come up through those life experiences you have had.... but you are a seeker, and that is the most important part of this journey. You will find there are many people here who experiences these same feelings and questions. Many feel there is something coming, and we are trying to learn the part we play. We are all here to share and to help each other find the answers we are looking for.
I am happy that you have stepped out of the lurk mode and into the light with us.
I hope that you will find people whom you are comfortable speaking with about many things. Do enjoy each and every visit here.

Hey all!

I'm Dave and have been checking out the site and really like the atmosphere. Great people with some great views.

Anyway, I'm 41, live in PA, USA, and have no UFO/alien experiences. I've been interested in the whole scene since I was in 4th grade...no idea why.

I work in the technology procurement field (supply computer equipment to bank offices) and have little technical knowledge to offer. I read lots of Arthur C. Clarke and Stephen Baxter as well as Steven King.

I found this site through UnknownCountry.com, I think, and have been following the drone threads for the past week or so. Great posts there, love the objectivity.

I'd love to see the day when all of these unknowns are revealed, but with all of the politics and greed in this world, I think that the truth will only be discovered by networks of minds such as this one.

I keep my eyes on the skies and my mind open.

Mods and staff: Keep up the great work!

Hi everyone! cheesy

I just joined up here after lurking for a few weeks and reading threads.

I am interested in UFO's (of course!) I'm also interested in UAP's (basically the same thing anyway ... ) I also have other interests, ie astronomy, science, politics, music, sport. (I am a long suffering QPR fan undecided )

I post on a couple of other message boards, namely Larger-Than-Life (where I am an admin with a few other guys,) and Space.com (SDC.)

I did see a UFO once, but I'll tell you about that in the thread I think you have for people who have seen UFO's wink

I do have a fair amount of skepticism regarding UFO's in as much as I believe that about 95% of what we read about on the internet is either a mistake, or faked, but that still leaves 5% totally unexplainable ...

Hi Smersh welcome to the board, Thats very exciting that you understand that 5% thing. Please feel free to leave links to your subjects and your website we are all freinds here and would probably like to see your links very much. And if you like Nick Pope and The Isaac drone subject I would be very interested to hear what you think about these subjects as well.
