Greetings from Oregon. I've been browsing this site and forums for a week or two now and finally got around to joining. I've been into UFOs and the paranormal since I was a child, and still actively pursue information on the subject. As far as my own sightings I've had a couple in the last couple years that I will mention later.

Hello all,
I am honored to be a member of this site and hope to chat with everyone regularly. I have been curious of UFO's since beleiving that I saw one a few years ago. But because the way society is, its hard to say what you have saw w/o being doubted. This latest incident (Texas UFO sightings) has made me want to discuss in depth with others about this and other UFO happenings that are covered up. Thanks for letting me be a part.

Hello everyone.

Another Brit here, from the south west of the country.

I discovered this site a couple of months ago, when I felt drawn to look up 'ufo' on google. The first article I saw was about people who'd been similarly drawn to to the subject, around the same timescale. That said, I've been interested in the subject for a long time and am a qualified hypo/psychotherapist with experience of regression therapies.

I've had a few experiences myself that I thought might be ufo related, but nothing for several years, until about two weeks ago.

The first current event occurred at around 07.00GMT from the front of my home, looking due south. In the early morning sky a large 'electic-looking' light appeared to the south east and moved quickly westwwards til it was approximately due south of my position. At first I assumed it was either a planet (too big, too bright, too close and moving way too fast) or a helicopter. However once in position, the light remained stationary for about 30 minutes. I went indoors, came out and it was still there until immediately 'switching off'. INow this might hae been a helicopter, but I neither saw nor heard one (or any aircraft) during this whole event and on extinguishing, nothing was visible in the sky. Whatever it was, it was much too big and bright to be a planet or a satellite.

The second event was a few days later and from my kitchen window, which looks to the north east. It was about 14,00GMT when a large ball of light, which I first took to be a helicopter search light (although why it would be on in the daytime I don't know) appeared about a mile away, over neighbouring fields. It was very low, probably around 300 feet. It stayed illuninated for about 5 minutes then just blinked out whilst I was watching. There was no sign of a helicopter or other aircraft in the vicinity.

The third incident occured whilst I was driving in the locale about 10 days ago, also in the early afternoon. A seemingly identical ball of light suddenly 'switched on' from behind a clump of trees about 100 yards/metres away. Being on a main road, I could not stop immediately but drove to where I could get a clearer view. Almost as soon a I reached a stopping place, no more than 100 yards from the light still, the light vanished, again leaving no trace of what caused it.
All these events occured on bright, clear sunlit days with excellent visibility.

The latest event occurred yesterday, between 14.00 GMT & 14.15 GMT on the Malvern Hills http://www.malverntrail.co.uk/malvernhills.htm#points" target="_blank">(http://www.malverntrail.co.uk/malvernhills.htm#points)(n Worcestershire. I had gone for a day's hill-walking (alone) and was watching the very low cloud cover for signs of bad weather. Just to the north-east of the sun I noticed a shining silvery crescent which I first took to be the sun reflecting off a cloud. However, the clouds were driving over very quickly and the crescent stayed put. I don't know how far away it was, certainly it was above the cloud cover, but shone through it. Intrigued now, I watched the thing for about five minutes. An aircraft flew near by and somewhat higher, leaving a vapour trail, which confirmed the object was not a trail, it looke nothing like the one from the plane and maintained its shape.

About this time, the cloud cover broke up and clear skies appeared.

After some minutes the object began to fly towards the south, appearing from my vantage point to go towards, and below, the sun. I watched it as long as I could, til the sunlight blocked the view. The whole event lasted approxiamtely 15 minutes.

If someone had told me it was a comet, i would have believed it, but as to what it was? I have no idea.

Now I might be being visited by men in helicopters, after all, I do visit this site (lol), but seriously, it feels very odd, to say the least. I think a camera is called for..

Anyway, that is me. ~I hope to be able to contribute to this fascinating forum in the future.

I just joined because this looks like a great place to talk about "paranormal" stuff. I'm mostly interested in UFOs and such. I'm not sure what to think about ghosts. On one hand, I think they might be real... but on the other hand, it's hard to believe. huh

So.... hello everyone. I suck at introducing myself, so hopefully that was sufficient. smiley
