I don't like spiders at all.......For some reasont that cross stuck out when I first looked at it though. Hehe....that spider was trying trying to fool someone into a sense of security because of the cross...
I tried to get some shots of a large black widow one day, but couldn't use any because I was shaking so badly because I was just too close to the thing. The worst thing for me is to walk outside and get snaggled in a large spider web! That's a nightmare for me. shocked

Oh Creolelady I feel the same way.

For ages we had two large spiders that spun webs every night - one in the back garden and one in the side garden. I would never go out unless I had too. Deep down I was so pleased when I found them gone - probably the birds nesting in the trees above.

I felt bad that I was pleased with the demise of living beings but it meant I could go outside at night again. As my hubby works in his shed a lot at nighttime I enjoy poppong out to chat at times and the spider in backyard had cramped my style.

shocked

Beauty of the moon, it was said to me yesterday last night would be the best shot of the moon from all around the world. Sorry I missed taking my photos, but happy Lawwalk produced beautiful pictures, thankyou.

We saw the harvest moon out of the front windshield of the truck as we were driving, but there was not a place to pull off the road for many miles, then we were in forest area and couldn't get a shot. But it was so huge and beautiful.....very great to see. Glad you caught it Lawwalk! smiley

Here are a couple of recent shots. Not great, but all I have been able to get of scenery lately.

creolelady your sunset snaps are beautiful. Thank you grin
Here are two from Saturday. We spent the day at Barwon Heads and Point Lonsdale on the Victorian Coast, OZ.

This was taken from the lighthouse balcony at Point Lonsdale, looking down. Those rock formations are under water when the tide comes in.

Hi Joren smiley

Those are great pics! And what a pretty dog Sheba is. Your photos are so clear. If I may ask, what kind of camera are you using? I'm shopping around for a new camera, and I was just curious.
