This is a hill called Golden Ball in the Vale of Pewsey, England. I took it two summers ago when the crops were golden and the sky blue.

There are four paraglider pilots flying the hill and I am off to join them. We are all hoping to catch a thermal which will take us up to cloudbase and then on to a cross country journey.

We have no engines so we fly silently like the soaring birds and often share thermals with Buzzards and Red Kites.

I took this photo back in the 1970s during an amazing thunderstorm. Nature is such an amazing and beautiful thing to be part of.

This is a photo of a farmer and herding an aphid. These ants guard the aphids and in return the aphids produce 'milk' that the ant colony uses which helps digestion of leaves. Something like that, anyway.

I took this with an old SLR camera and a bellows device so that I could get really close. This was before digital technology.

The morning after it snowed. A local stream looks beautiful with the snow and the post cold frontal skies.

This is my favorite place.. Westbury white horse hill. I paraglide he most of the time. In early summer it looks beautiful with the daisies and birds singing everywhere.

This picture was taken at sunset at a lake at Virginia Water near Heathrow Airport. I loved the subtle light under the stone bridge and just had to try to capture it.

My preference is for photographs that don't show the mess that we humans do to nature but sometimes our buildings do fit in with nature.

Hi Scully!

You take beautiful shots! Keep up the great work! Such bountiful beauty in nature... what could be better?

This picture was snapped while I was in the air over Westbury. The amazing clouds are wave bars caused by the air bumping over the southern Welsh mountains. Where the waves of air go up the cloud forms, then the cloud dissapears on the way down. The bars don't move with the wind.

I love skies and I always watch them.

Bluebell woods. The downed branch adds something to the photo and I got scratched trying to move to get it in the picture (dumb or what?)

I didn't want to annoy anyone with lots of bird photos so here are some of my own pictures in montage form.

They were taken in Wiltshire, England as I was walking around the countryside. I used a kodak dual-lens camera which is tiny enough to put in my handbag but has a 10x optical zoom.

If anyone wants more info about what birds are here, do say.

Agentscully your photos are so beautiful! I am really enjoying them. They are all wonderful, and I really like the lightning one a lot. The bluebell woods and the morning after the snowfall are also exceptional, but then they all are.

Pretty flowers. I went out to look at my little cherry bushes, but I think the ice storm caused some damage. They are only beginning to bloom, and look so scarce.

I did get some pics of daffodils, but just haven't looked at them since I uploaded. I am thoroughly enjoying your flowers though!
