Amen:

God loves us.
Jesus loves us.
The Angels love us.
So i choose to love them back.
Amen.

You know SecondSight, you and I are much more alike than you know.

I love ST! [Pledge Your Allegiance! grin]. Try not to forget the inner message to many of their songs, which is to become stronger than the negative.

If I Donít Wake Up

Why do I wake up in the morning
Nothing's changed since the day of my birth
Why do I wake up in the morning
I make no difference on this earth

Strength has left
Has to be
Something has died inside of me

If I don't wake up in the morning
At my funeral would anyone care
If I don't wake up in the morning
Would anyone even be there

You can put me down, you can put me out, you can try to ignore
But now you're gonna hear me when I shout
WAKE UP!

Why should I wake up in the morning
It be just another wasted day
Why should I wake up in the morning
Don't do nothing right anyway

That was then
Not anymore!
Now I go blasting out the door

I'm gonna wake up in the morning
I'll prove you wrong I will not fail
I'm gonna wake up in the morning
I'm gonna blaze a brand new trail

Might not be smart, but if I'm strong
I know for sure no oneís ever gonna prove me wrong

Iíll still wake up in the morning.

The Feelingís Back

I wrote a letter just the other day to nobody in particular
But if anyone were to read a bit, they'd think I was a bit peculiar
But it matters not what they think of me, it's only what I know is real
And so all that's left that matters now
Is that the feeling's back

CHORUS
The feeling's back and you just can't stop it
The feeling's back and you just can't stop it

I fought a thousand times, I never knew the meaning of the word fear
Till that one day when I stood alone, staring straight into the mirror
It's not a pretty sight and even worse, it's so hard to face
Until I realize I'm the only one that put me in this place

CHORUS

I'm gonna breathe I'm gonna live-that's right-nothing's gonna stop me
I7m gonna shout I'm gonna scream-that's right-nothing's gonna stop me
I'm gonna run I'm gonna fly-that's right-nothing's gonna stop me
I'm gonna fight I'm gonna win-that's right-nothing's gonna stop me
Nothing's gonna stop me, nothing's gonna stop me now-
Cause the feeling's back

And you gotta love the feeling!

I dug my hole too deep, I couldn't admit, I didn't know when to stop
But you can only dig your hole six feet until the dirt comes back on top
I've got a long way left to climb but I'll still look you straight in the
eye
And I can honestly say I'll never quit, not even on the day I die

CHORUS

ST doesnít want anyone to take themselves out, instead they seek for folks to better understand the feelings they have and then to overcome them. ST uses rage as a means to the end. Rage against that which brings a person down.

The Bible teaches us the same thing, except to tap into the power of God, and not inward rage. To give up this rage that sometimes we hold so close to us, in exchange for Godís grace. God can then shield us from the evil. Through a process of meditation, one can discover the place where this peace is in the mind. You really have to want it though. You have to WANT to let go of your guilt and hateÖdonít hold onto it, let it go, then God will forgive you of your sins, but you must first learn to forgive yourself. And this my friend is the hardest thing to do.

This does not guarantee guilt free feeling for the rest of your life, itís not that simple. As you know, at every turn evil lurks in wait to ambush. We as imperfect humans in the flesh cannot avoid certain times when this old feeling creeps back in. However, once you begin on the path to forgiving yourself, then you will be able to spot this evil for what it is, BEFORE it takes a hold of you. This can only be accomplished through time and ďon the job trainingĒ so-to-speak.

This is my opinion based on personal experience.

Thanks again guys. Unfortunately i haven't got a very big vocabulary, so i can't really explain as i'd like to.

It does not matter if you don't have a very big vocabulary......you have a talent for putting together words that form a picture which is quite amazing. I wish I had it....

Just remember this....... a doctor cannot do the work of a mechanic, and a mechanic cannot do the work of a doctor. Each one has their talent and uses it. Your talent is bringing out the emotions of others in a profound way with your poetry. You touch deep chords within us all without you even knowing it. We have all seen our highs and lows......and felt despair. You however have the ability to put your feelings into words which is quite amazing. I love reading your poetry......

You go out there and WOW this world...... the world needs people like you with depth to open up closed minds and hard hearts.

?:

Heaven and hell.
Peaceful intent.
Reason for being.
That which is meant.
Celestial bodies.
The moon and the sun.
Victory in battle.
Another war won.
Glory in death.
To love and obey.
Cherish the moment.
There's one true way.
Pacifism not violence.
Love and not hate.
Anarchy breeds chaos.
Is it all too late?
Truth above all.
No proof is required.
Used to be evil but now i've retired.
Unsolved mysteries.
The ying and the yang.
Creationism or the big bang?
Precision timing.
Thrown out of sync.
Ufo in the sky.
You'll miss it if you blink.
The path i walk.
Darkness and light.
Shades of grey.
The balance is not right.

Y:

Solar system.
Life on earth.
A learning curve which starts from birth.
Who are we?
Where we from?
So many religions.
Chosen one.
Contained meaning.
Truth and love.
Vastness of space.
Just look above.
Night-time upon.
Who's out there?
Who's looking back at my awestruck stare?
Knowledge to discern.
What's right and wrong.
A friendly word.
My favourite song.
Human beings.
We laugh, we cry.
We go through life.
And some ask.
Y.

She whispered "will it hurt me?"
"Of course not" answered he
"It's a very simple process,
You can rely on me."

She said "I'm very frightened,
I've not had this before.
My friend has had it five times
And said it can be sore."

It was growing rather painful
Tears formed in her eyes
It was hurting quite a bit now
It must have been a size.

"Calm yourself" he whispered
"His face filled with a grin
"Try and open wider
So I can get it in."

"It's coming now" he whispered
"I know" she cried in bliss
Feeling it deep within her now
She said "I am glad I'm having this."

And with a final effort
She gave a frightened shout
He gripped it in anguish
And quickly pulled it out.

She lay back quite contended
Sighed and gave a smile
She said "I'm glad I came now
You made it worth my while."

THE FENCE CROWDED IN

The fence
Crowded in
Kept all out
Overwhelmed
(Overbearing)
Over-intense
Stifling:

It had to be
Stopped!

Cut-through!
Removed!

Too late

It was burdensome
Intact
Buried
Rooted

The Fence

Was fixed
Constricting
Binding
Hiding

The Fence was killing ME

Shut out the Stars
Light
My mother's voice
The Past
Hope
Future

The Fence
Had no compassion

I found this on the web.

Coming:

Sea of souls.
Tranquility's door.
Redemption soon.
Of that i'm sure.
The Heavens and Earth.
All that's out there.
Greatest show in town.
Just don't ask where.
Our species.
We love, hate, laugh and cry.
Strong delusion is coming to believe in a lie.
So be prepared.
Have faith in the Lord.
God is our Father.
Just read His word.
Visitors here in the night sky.
Playing the part of the villain.
Ask yourself why.
Who really cares?
And who are they to interfere in mankind's affairs?

Here's an oldie I found. Very popular in its day, which were the hippie days.

Performed by the group - "It's A Beautiful Day"
