Just a little bit of fun. I wrote these two poems and thought they may be appreciated by some of you guys.

NIGHTWALKERS

Silent and graceful they enter my space
I suddenly awaken to see a terrifying face

Cold and emotionless peering into my eyes
My body frozen yet wanting to cry

I know what awaits me but what can I do?
Paralysed with fear my family don’t have a clue

If only they knew what awaits in the night
They would probably just laugh but I will continue my fight

For 25 years now I’ve endured mental pain
I’d give anything I own never to see them again

To be alone and afraid is all I’ve ever known
I can’t believe how unsafe I feel in my own home

So off they take me out into the light
I wonder what awaits me all I feel is the fright

Lay naked on metal surrounded by ghouls
I feel them cutting me with their specialist tools

I close my eyes and wish I was dead
The next thing I know I wake up in my bed

The morning has broken and all around me is calm
I thank myself lucky they did me no harm

I know for certain I will see them again
But for now it’s all over an end to the pain.

------------------------

THE LIFE OF AN ABDUCTEE

We suffer in silence our lives are a mess
Alien abductees separate from the rest
Blamed for our claims by the best of the best
Life is unfair always put to the test

How would you like it if your homes were invaded?
Your life for mine, yes of course I would trade it

Always living in fear why did they choose me
It’s frustrating as hell when they won’t let you sleep

Stupid little bastards with your big black eyes
I’m double your size yet you still make me cry

What I would do to have a fair fighting chance
But you enter my room and put me in a trance

Next time you arrive I swear I will kill you
But you’re much more advanced so I probably won’t see you

Life as an abductee is just so much fun
When you see me in the street you had better run

Because I’m completely insane or at least that’s how I’m branded
It’s not my fault these creatures chose my garden to land in

Hopefully one day I’ll be free from this terror
Probably dead so take someone else instead.

Not a UFO song really, but relevant:

Eye of the Beholder [By Metallica]

Do you see what I see?
Truth is an offense
You silence for your confidence.

Do you hear what I hear?
Doors are slamming shut
Limit your imagination, keep you where they must.

Do you feel what I feel?
Bittering distress
Who decides what you express?

Do you take what I take?
Endurance is the word
Moving back instead of forward, seems to me absurd.

It doesnt matter what you see
Or into it, what you read
You can do it your own way
If its done just how I say.

Independence limited
Freedom of choice is made for you my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom - with their exception.

Do you fear what I fear?
Living properly
Truths to you are lies to me.

Do you choose what I choose?
More alternatives
Energy derives from both the plus and negative.

Do you need what I need?
Boundaries overthrown
Look inside, to each his own.

Do you trust what I trust?
Me, Myself, and I
Penetrate the smokescreen, I see through the selfish lie.

It doesnt matter what you see
Or into it, what you read
You can do it your own way
If its done just how I say.

Independence limited
Freedom of choice is made for you my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom - with their exception.

Do you know what I know?
Your money and your wealth
You silence just to hear yourself.

Do you want what I want?
Desire not a thing
I hunger after independence, strengthen freedoms ring.

It doesnt matter what you see
Or into it, what you read
You can do it your own way
If its done just how I say.

Independence limited
Freedom of choice is made for you my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom no longer frees you!

Deja Vu Lyrics

Album: Somewhere In Time

(Murray/Harris)

When you see familiar faces,
But you don't remember where they're from,
Could you be wrong?
When you've been particular places,
That you know you've never been before,
Can you be sure?
'Cause you know this has happened before,
And you know that this moment in time is for real,
And you know when you feel Deja vu.

Feel like I've been here before,
Feel like I've been here before.

Ever had a conversation,
That you realise you've had before,
Isn't it strange?
Have you ever talked to someone,
And you feel you know what's coming next?
It feels pre-arranged.
'Cause you know that you've heard it before,
And you feel that this moment in time is surreal,
'Cause you know when you feel deja-vu.

Same:

My life's in desperation.
I've nothing left to give.
From despair to elation.
With grief is where i live.
I stayed too long.
Can't undo that which's been.
No right just wrong.
Don't know love yet it i've seen.
Feeling emptiness inside.
I search for an antidote to the pain.
My anger betrays me.
Can't hide.
I change yet stay the same.

Surely:

I'm caught inbetween a hope and a tragedy.
Too lost to have hope.
Too tragic to be hopeful.
I'm thinking about thinking.
Left with something with no name.
Emptiness becomes it's teacher.
Looking for a way.
The way is constructed then destroyed.
My heart is still beating.
Darkness is my forte.
Need one last chance to prove myself.
Gonna betray myself to feel again.
It's at my own expense.
I delve into the unknown.
It surely knows my name.

Dichotomy:

If i'm left with what's right, but see it as wrong, and i've searched all along for a place i belong.
If i'm lost but not found, and i didn't even know, and the world is a stage, and i'm a one man show.
When i'm caught inbetween doing what's wrong and what's right.
When i'm surrounded with love, but still want to fight.
And i beat myself up just for something to do.
Given up on myself.
I am false and it's true.
What's left is not right.
What's true is still true.
Trying to change, but i'm nothing without you.
Should i walk away or fight and be strong?
I choose to do nothing because fighting is wrong.
I've walked the path of life's lonliness.
Found out i lose.
Too late to confess.
Alone with the blues.
Struggle on in my mind for a peacful place.
Found serenity briefly, now there's no trace.
I want to be good, but it's not good to be bad.
Looking for happiness.
Just left feeling sad.
Good versus evil.
A word to the wise.
Influenced too easily.
Couldn't see my demise.
Expression of one self.
The dark half i know.
If there's good to be found.
Can't see from below.
Anger is wasted.
I focus on myself.
How much can i take?
It's affecting my health.
Downwards i spiral.
No-one here to talk to.
I argue with me.
Can't win.
Its sad but true.

From:

I believe in myself.
I forget i believe.
The way forward is peace.
This thought i conceive.
Who am i inside?
Is there any potential for good?
I keep on searching.
From the heart if i could.
Forgive me Father for i have sinned.
Didn't know what i was worth.
If i find out too late then i'm a fool from the moment of my birth.
Go forward and not backwards.
Face the storm head on.
Realise those spoken words.
Understand then where i'm from.

Become:

Contained emotion.
Led astray.
Bereft of feeling.
Being what i say.
Difference is i'm unable to see.
Free to express.
Expression is free.
Where am i?
I am where?
In love and war all is fair.
That's what they say.
Whoever they are.
I walk to the end.
However far.
Prove to myself.
Hold my head high.
I'm worth more than this.
I can only try.
Giving up's not an option.
Give all that i can.
Learn and progress.
Become then what i am.

Agenda:

Dark skies.
Back again.
Alien agenda.
Playing the game.
Unidentified flying objects.
Lights in the sky.
Foo fighters from years gone by.
Watching us from vantage far.
From a planet orbiting another star?
The biggest show in town.
Planet earth.
Attracting interest because of what we're worth.

Myself:

As eminem said "i will not fall., i will stand tall."
The pressure i'm under is nothing.
I'll grow.
It's to myself i owe.
Nothing to prove.
When it's time to move.
I move.
Just let me be myself.
