Obscure:

Nothing's for sure unless my destiny's been sealed.
Tomorrow's a day away yet still unrevealed.
Past glimpse of what may have been.
Things that have been and what I have seen.
There's a thin line between love and hate.
Unprepared am I for possible fate.
In opposition to forward is reverse.
Unsure of time span.
Time gone to rehearse.
The present is paramount.
Arrived on time.
Calculate possibilities.
Unclear.
Define.
Keep going and don't give in.
Acknowledgement.
Situation - No win?
A lesson in caring and to whom it relates.
Actions speak louder than words.
Fate's hand.
Handed fate?
Future's clouded.
Prelude.
Not past.
Undefined.
Unclarified.
Obscure till the last.

Live:

A play on words.
Comprehension misplaced.
Evil in reverse.
It's myself I faced.
Lost in translation.
Misplaced the cost.
Perspective in viewing.
Translation is lost.
Double meaning.
Describe contained.
Reflect on reflection.
Definition remained.
Left alone to decide.
Live is live.
Obvious I know.
Choose taking or give.
More of the same.
Monotony at play.
Undescribable point of conflict.
Night-time follows day.
Nothing more to write.
On my own again once more.
All words before play.
It's what I now stand for.

Nowhere:

Now and then I'm myself again.
I come and go.
Once more the same.
Confused as to why.
I live out a lie?
Justifying my existence.
Denying or defy.
No need to elaborate.
Words speak somehow.
My life put on hold.
That was then.
This is now.
Forgotten importance.
Still unsure.
Nowhere in sight.
Blind like before.

After:

The power of positive thought.
Revival of oneself.
Inherent will to be.
Lost my own true wealth.
Blinded by the light.
I search for me once more.
Left this planet about five years ago.
Exited through wrong door.
Wrong turn back then.
I did not know.
Effects of deceitful lie.
Left on my own to win a losing battle.
No-one hears my battle cry.
Circumstance.
Make my stance.
This's till the end.
Lost and found.
Denial.
Profound.
I found my own true friend.

UFO:

Another plain.
Wonderous sight.
Space-time manipulation.
Dimensional distortion.
Ripples on a pond.
Perfect craft.
Ancient intelligence.
Celestial porthole.
Beginning of tomorrow.
Yesterday's dreams.
Stellar teleport.
Interaction of knowing.
Gravitational control.
Silence of flight.
Peaceful intent.

Iron Maiden - Remember Tomorrow

User Image

Unchain the colours before my eyes,
Yesterday's sorrows, tomorrow's white lies.
Scan the horizon, the clouds take me higher,
I shall return from out of fire.

Tears for rememberance, and tears for joy,
Tears for somebody and this lonely boy.
Out in the madness, the all seeing eye,
Flickers above us, to light up the sky.

Unchain the colours before my eyes,
Yesterday's sorrows, tomorrow's white lies.
Scan the horizon, the clouds take me higher,
I shall return from out of fire.

Starman, your poetry is really nice and I like the way you type it to put it in motion.
Take care,

Nice poetry, gang! Thank you all for sharing of yourself in this way. I have a few, but most are too private to share in a public forum. My own personal growth and insights.. nothing the rest of the world would place any store in! wink

Positive:

The power of positive thought.
Look forward with renewed hope.
Neither bought or sold.
Simply cope or don't cope.
It's never over till it's over.
It's always darkest before the dawn.
Never surrender.
Always remembering,
Every rose has it's thorn.

Very nice, Starman. smiley I see you're posting your nice poetry again. I'm glad.

I believe very much in the power of positive thought. One of my favorite sayings is "If life deals you lemons, make lemonade." This goes along with what you're saying. I have a friend who is somewhat of a pessimist. Well, he applied for an apartment, and he keeps telling me "Oh, I'll never get that apartment." I mentioned to him about the power of positive thought.

Please keep posting your nice poetry. smiley

Again:

Caught in the maelstrom.
Opposites attract.
Left with little doubt.
What was fictional is now fact.
Surrendered to betrayal.
My life's becoming what?
Denied the right to be.
Won't be what I am not.
Subtle change of heart.
Expressive to the end.
Fighting my own corner.
Opposition.
Comprehend.
Forgotten importance.
Again and again.
Struggle within?
Or without?
No matter.
It's just the same.
